History
Established in 1991.
Capone’s has been a fixture in Coeur d’Alene since 1991, when Tom and Teresa Capone took an old gas station turned dive bar and transformed it into the sports and beer mecca that it is today. With an extreme selection of microbrews (41 on tap), excellent soups and sandwiches, the best pizza in town and a full liquor bar, Capone’s is THE place to be for any sporting event, party or average evening out.
In 2006, Tom and Teresa opened up a second pub in Post Falls. Tragically, an act of arson destroyed their business, but with a lot of community support, hard work, and determination, the Capone’s re-opened in ’08. Post Falls Capone’s is now the neighborhood go-to spot that the Coeur d’ Alene store has always been.
After being featured on the Food Network’s «Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives» show in 2010, the Capone’s have enjoyed even more success and are excited to be able to bring their winning combination to a third location in Hayden, Idaho in 2013.
