It’s been almost six months since Dave built and installed our custom pool table for us, and we’ve gotten tons of compliments on how nice it looks and how well it plays. Dave is a true enthusiast of both the sport and his business, and was very direct and honest in response to our questions. The hardest part was deciding on what style and colors we wanted, and he helped us with suggestions of what would work well. Once we decided, it was only a couple of weeks before Dave showed up at our house with the entire pool table in pieces in the back of his little truck, and proceeded to install it by himself in a few hours. Dave’s pricing is extremely reasonable and includes everything from start to finish. He even installed a wall rack for us. We could have spent more for a standard manufactured table, instead we got a custom table that impresses everyone. Tip: go for the upgraded championship cloth, it’s so much better than felt! I’ve been using Unilocal for many years and have never left a review before, but with my experience buying the pool table with Dave I do feel the need to sign up and leave him a review, just to let others know how enjoyable the process was.
I was thinking about buying a pool table and I had read about Admiral Pool Tables since a while ago. When I walked in to the location in Hayward, Dave was there and he gave me a lot of great information about what to look for, styles and colors, maintenance etc, no sales pressure at all, just straightforward chatting about useful information.
I decided to get one and he helped me find out a color scheme that would work well with the room, and since I was the 12^th order in line, we were expecting a 6 week delivery time frame. However, the table was done and delivered in less than 4 weeks, what a good surprise.
On the day of delivery, Dave drove here early in the day and spent more than 3 hours on the installation, doing measurements and adjustments along the way to make sure everything is aligned well and any uneven surface from floor etc is compensated. The end result is a stunning play toy as well as a centerpiece furniture.
I really do appreciate Dave’s service. He is knowledgeable and outstanding in his craft. If you’re looking for an exceptional custom pool table with reasonable price, look no further.

Dave is a talented craftsmen. The time and attention he puts into his work is amazing. I bought my table from him about 8 years ago and recently moved to Manteca. He picked up my pool table from Fremont and reassembled it in Manteca. New felt and a tune up. It looks and plays just as good as it did the day I bought it. It’s hard to find quality craftsmanship like that. If you are going to buy a pool table then do yourself a favor and talk to Dave.

I found Admiral Pool tables on the internet and could not be more pleased with the customer service and product. We turned our living room into a game room for our tweens and could not be more thrilled with the outcome. Dave was very knowledgeable about the product, built and delivered the table within a week and we have been having great family time ever since. What a great way to bond with your tweens over pool or the ping pong topper! I would recommend Admiral Pool tables to anyone! We got the dark cherry finish, with black accents and the bright blue cloth. It looks beautiful!

I checked out his website and found new tables for less than some of the used Craigslist tables. I went to the shop, saw the fabrication in process and was very impressed. This place was exactly what I was looking for… custom pool table, locally produced, high quality, great price, something that will last for a long time. David and Dennis were super helpful selecting the right table. I entered the shop on a Sunday and had my custom table 3 days later. I got a great deal.
David came to install it in our home, I was very impressed with the care he took throughout the whole process. It was done in about 4 hours. It was amazing to see the precision that goes into the assembly.
The pricing was incredible given how high quality the table parts and construction is… also everything was included, he probably saved me $ 1000 – 2000 vs going through a dealer and buying accessories one at a time.

I was looking for a pool table to finish off my mancave. I did a lot of looking around on the internet, checking prices online, going into stores and looking at expensive name brand tables. I decided to check Unilocal and see what stores there were in the area, when I came across Admiral Pool Tables.
After seeing all the 5-​start reviews and digging through their website, I took a trip to their shop to check them out. Just like the other reviews, Dave took me on a tour of the shop and showed me how they build their own pool tables. He was super friendly and priced out my custom pool table without pressure to buy.
I called Dave later that week to finalize the details and the pool table was built, finished and delivered for free within 5 days. Dave assembled the table in my home and it turned out perfect. APT takes a lot of pride in what they do and are super helpful.
I am extremely happy with my purchase and the price I paid compared to other stores that just sell pool tables. Plus, my purchase came with a set of ball, 4 cues and all accessories.

We had a great experience with Admiral Pool tables. David helped us select all the elements of our new table including the wood color, the leg types, the felt color (red of course), and the type of pockets. He custom built the table and then came to our house near Stanford University and assembled it in about 3 hours. The construction that he uses is amazing. The entire underlayment is built out of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) which never warps or loses it’s shape — just like the foundation of a new house. The parts that you see are all solid wood (oak in our case) and leather for the pockets. The slate is shipped from Brazil and was in perfect shape. The felt is very high quality. Everything is assembled with large bolts that can be adjusted to make sure that everything is square.
David was a treat to work with, it’s rare to find a craftsmen left in the world who can build such a high quality piece of furniture for a reasonable price.
He also helped teach my two teenage sons how to play and they are now on the table with us everynight learning new tricks.

This guy is f@cking crazy! But he is funny as shit. He has everything you would ever need to start a game room, pool tables, dart boards, accessories, etc. Totally cool, he helps you with everything you need. He wants to make sure that whatever you buy, its what you exactly need. He doesn’t try to upsell you, he just tells you everything upfront. Not something you get everywhere.

My husband and I live in the Bay Area and we were looking for a pool table for our vacation home in Truckee. After meeting with Dave, we knew we had found the right person to create the ideal pool table to fit in with the rustic décor at our mountain retreat. I recently started playing pool alot more often then I ever have before. So since I am turning my garage into my man cave, I decided to try to add a pool table to the mix.
Once I got my pool table I knew it needed to be re-​felted and possibly some other work done on it as well. I called around and had a couple of people out to do estimates on the work. The first gentleman walked around the table once without truly inspecting it and gave me a cost.
The second was Dave from Admiral. He came out at about 8:30 in the evening and took the time to look over the pool table and answered any question that I had. he also explained to me in detail what he would do to bring this table back to life and in great working order.
We made an appointment for Sunday June 5^th for him to come and begin the process. He was right on time and went to work on the table. The second appointment was for Sunday June 12^th. Again he was right on time and had my table finished and in playing condition that day. The table is probably 30 years old. The table now looks brand new. I did not recognize the top portion of the table, new felt, new pockets, redid the rails and the rubber. Even sanded down the rails and stained them to bring the life in them back out.
I would certainly send any business to Dave and Dennis. They did a fantastic job.

WOW! Great service, great knowledge, very reasonably priced. We bought a used table and set but they took great care of it, storing it until they found a buyer. David moved my pool table from yesterday, he showed up on time and worked away until it was set up and looked like new at the new place.
Unless other’s, he recommended to have the felt replaced. That was a great choice because for little more money the table looks like new again. He explained everything and showed me how the table is perfectly level.
David is a great guy and I recommend him and his company to anybody!!!

These guys (Dave and Dennis) are AWESOME! We purchased our custom table from Admiral Pool Tables for our home in Sausalito in 2001. The table is beautiful– quality craftsmanship all the way! In 2008, we were moving to New York City and Dave and Dennis helped again– dismantling the table and getting it ready for its trek across the country. It arrived in perfect shape. And not long ago, one of the globes on our pool table light broke and Dave and Dennis helped us again. I can’t say enough positive things about Dave, Dennis, and Admiral Pool Tables. They are the only one’s i would ever buy another pool table from again. They have the best customer service and the quality is TOPS!

We decided to buy a pool table for a house that we just bought in Twain Harte. We did a lot of research and looked at several pool tables, including many online, checking prices. We were happy to find out that there was a pool table shop very close to our house. We went there, got a tour of the shop from Dave, and he explained everything about pool tables to us. There was no pressure to buy one from him, but a month later, we came back to buy one from him because his tables are far better than any others we saw and his prices are the best. He delivered the pool table (2 ½ hours away) and set it up. Now we have a beautiful pool table that is a work of art! Everyone compliments us on how beautiful it is and how smooth it is. We would definitely recommend Dave and Admiral Pool Tables to anyone wanting a pool table for their house or office.

Felt salesperson and owner really talks down on other businesses, and boast how they are the best. I compared their tables and they really cut a lot of corners to in order to cut cost. Price is okay compare to other big name tables. They range right about in the middle, but I’ve been better quality tables for less else where.

Mr Pool Table aka Dave is thee best hands down. I bought a custom made pool table from him and a great price and got just that. A fully custom made 3 slate pool table that i LOVE and so does everybody else. The service was excellent! setup and deliver was included in the final price and I now have an full size pool table that will last for decades and looks just beautiful in my home. We were doing some spring cleaning with our house. And our sister believe that we needed something to fill the big open space. We immediately thought of the pool table. First time, my sister ever gotten drunk was while playing pool in Europe. Looks like she wants to bring those memories back, HAHA. So we went and researched for some pool tables. Coming into their showroom area, David, guessing one of the co-​owners of Admiral Pool Tables, had given us a tour of their workshop and had given us a wide range of choices in customizing our pool table. Everything from the wood, style, and to the color of the fabric. There’s even option to two tone your table if you wish. Picking out everything is quite easy process with David. We ended up finding out that the pool table would be perfect for our garage, we needed at least a 13×17 feet playing spacing area.
Since we live less than 5 miles away from the place, David had came to our house himself and hand craft the pool table on the spot. Though, I wasn’t there for whole time of building the table. My sister had told me David had definitely put care into building the table and even perfectly leveling up the table on our playing area. The result is a perfect pool table.
