AutoNation Scion Hayward

So I received a call from Amos from hayward toyota the night before telling me that they have a 16′ tundra that I have been looking for. Price quote I got over the phone was beaten by all other toyota dealerships I have visited. I set up an appointment with Amos for Saturday to come check it out the 2016 Toyota Tundra w/​TRD package. Amos was very helpful and was not pressuring me to buy the truck. Worked out the numbers that I was comfortable with and bought my very first new vehicle. It was a great experience with Amos. Amos did everything he could to get me into that truck without the haggle like other dealerships (Livermore and Dublin Toyota). Overall, Hayward Toyota gave me a great experience purchasing a vehicle. If you need a very good salesman that will attend to your needs and not pressure/​haggle you to make a buck, look for Amos.

This was the first time purchasing my own car! I kind of knew what I wanted but wasn’t exactly sure… Vinny and Ali were truly helpful and honest with the pricing of the cars. Ali initially gave me a quote and promised that Autonation would be offering the lowest price for the car I wanted, and they were right! They also found the color that I wanted and ensured that it had everything I was looking for. They were very friendly and thorough with the process. I took my car in for it’s service a few weeks ago. It was on a Monday and it was storming. I was told that they were short handed because most of their service people lived in Valley and they would probably be delayed getting to work due to traffic problems because the storm. My car was completed in record time and I was back on the road in no time! Everyone there were super friendly, especially Salina! Thank you so much for the awesome service!

First of all, i must preface this by saying i absolutely HATE dealerships. I did research for a long time and found
and decided I would go through them for sure. A couple of weeks later I got into my Saab, and alas, the engine would not turn over. I tried getting a hold of someone that I had been dealing with for the past few weeks at
. I had it… I was buying a new car today and that’s it. Nobody returned my calls or panicky emails. When I went onto Roadster’s site, I was informed that the car that I chose would not be delivered until NOVEMBER 4! WELL, THAT’S it. I got on the phone, called AutoNation which was right down the street, spoke with Mo and asked for his best deal. He was pretty straight with me and gave me the same deal as
and i could drive the car away that day. Less than two hours later, I drove home with my much loved Prius. Love, love, love it and the dealership was not all that bad. I refused the extended warranties offered as i will be looking for my own. Mo was very knowledgeable and the car i ordered was parked right in the front when I got there. It was by far one of the best new car transactions I have ever had.

As a person that buys a car every two to three years and have encountered everything imaginable from bait n switch to being threatened because the sales manager was not meeting his quota, this was by far the easiest transaction I’ve ever encountered. I did not get the usual meeting the closer style and every other sales manager that was waiting in their little office for their right moment to pressure the sale. One salesman and one test drive and sealed the deal. Though the finance guy was busy and I waited a bit for my turn, it all was one of the easier car buying experiences I been through. Now let’s see how their service department performs later.

Autonation is awesome! I came across emailing Vinnie when I first saw the Toyota Corolla I was wishing to purchase online. He emailed me back right then and since then, he kept in touch with me throughout the entire process! He got me an awesome price and let me pick the color of the car, as well as the interior color. This was awesome because I haven’t heard of another sales manager or dealership which allows you to do that, especially when another color is advertised online. That was my biggest concern, wanting to pick another color because I didn’t like the one that was advertised as much, but Vinnie was super great and helped to let me pick the color of my choice. The process was easy and simple, making it a wonderful experience for me and my family. I will come here again when I’m ready for another car and refer all of my family and friends here! Thanks guys!!!

We get a prius here and returned it after so. many years me taking bus and now I will have bypass surgery living in one room no shower no kitchen and the card I did not even activate it and now 2015 I receive 1099c for the amount of 6000 dollars this people got no heart theres a lot of rich people there why us that striving everyday running on the road just to catch the bus. the credit card that I did not activate wants us to pay for 6000.00 dollars im getting insane now with this and now I want to killed myself.

I just deleted my 5 star review of this dealership which I posted back in July 2013. I bought my new Prius and the purchase experience was great. However, my wife brought the car in for the 5,000 mile service (tire rotation, brake visual inspection) with an appointment and they kept her waiting for 2 hours, with a 4 and 2 yr old. They have ONE person booking services where other dealerships have 4 – 7 on hand at all times. This is RIDICULOUS! BTW, the prius self regenerating brake system reduces pad/​disc wear because it acts as a lower gear to slow the car down… this means, all they needed to do was rotate my F**King tires and turn off the engine service light. Prioritizing the needs of your customer should be a dealerships primary concern because the service department is where the largest margin of revenue comes from. I hope you find this review helpful and I truly wish you best of luck if you end up going to this dealership. My next complaint is going to Toyota corp.

I submitted a quote request in the evening and Leslie Ramos responded the next day. He called, I explained what model I wanted, with my price target. Leslie responded later in the day and promised a price very close to what I was looking for.
We went to the dealership the next day, and Leslie was already waiting. We tested a car with the exact color and feature we wanted, and we sealed the deal within 1 hour.
There was no pushy discussion for extended warranty or other crap. Paperwork and all other transactions was pretty smooth.
Overall, very happy with the transaction.

Recently bought a Prius 2 from the dealership. Ali Mehrpore was the salesman, he responded quickly to my quote request and we agreed on a price after few emails. Walked out with the car the same night. Great service, with no one pushing you around.

Lame dealership!!! Poor customer service! If you’re looking for good service head up the road to One Toyota/​Scion. This was a lame experience driving out here to Hayward! Look elsewhere! Sales associate summed up in one word, prick!

Purchased recently a Prus V five from Autonation Toyota and I must say, that my experience was hassle free and no stress at all.
Carolyn Ramirez initially was the one who showed me the vehicles of my choice and decided on the Prius. She was very professional and very personable.
Several days after and a few email exchange, we agreed on the price and the same day, I drove off with the car of my choice.

AutoNation has changed how I feel about car dealers. They rock. Their sales persons, finance, service staff and managers are the best. They work hard to get you the best finance rate and price and trade in possible. If they do not have the vehicle in the color or with the options you want they search within 100 miles other dealerships to find as close a match as possible. I have bought two cars now from AutoNation and would never consider going elsewhere.

Terrible terrible terrible shady salesmen and manager. This is a sad dealership who relys on lies to draw people into the shop…
We called about a Scion FRS which are hard to find. The manager was very nice on the phone and confirmed that there was a manual FRS on the lot. We drove nearly an hour to see the car and potentially make the purchase. There was no manual FRS to be seen. The manager had given a false name, and the car on the lot was an automatic.
When we asked to see the manager to ask him why he’d made us drive nearly an hour to see a car that was not what we’d asked to see, the salesman was unable to seek an audience with this guy. Nowhere to be found.
He then tried to sell us on the automatic. As if we had not made it clear we were not interested.
Shady shop. No attention to the customer. Do not go here. Just stay far away and head to Marin or Vacaville if you need a good shop with sales people who care.

I was shopping for a new vehicle, and decided to utilize my AAA membership benefit under their New Car Purchase program. The program directed me to my local AAA approved auto dealership which was Auto West Scion of Hayward. I followed the easy instructions provided by AAA on their website, and made the contact once AAA sent me the contact information. Once i reached out to the dealership, Ali my Internet AAA approved Sales Manager greeted and welcomed me in. After introducing ourselves, we then proceeded to the vehicles i was interested in. I proceeded to review, test drive and ask my questions. Ali was extremely knowledgeable on the vehicle and addressed and answered all my concerns and questions.
After a few weeks of deliberation and considering all the pro’s and con’s of the competitor’s vehicles i was looking at, i decided to purchase the vehicle from Auto West Scion in Hayward. The Finance Manager i worked with was John, also a very friendly and knowledgeable person, who took care of my extended warranty questions and concerns and finalized my purchase. I am extremely happy to recommend the AAA member purchase program as well as Auto West Scion of Hayward to anyone who is interested in purchasing a new Vehicle.
