I wish this was closer to me so I could go all the time. All my favorites in one place! Got the fruit and kiwi paleta… delicious! Made me wonder how much sugar they add to their recipes, but who cares! Need to go back to try their pineapple and chamoy treat.

Awesome service. My family decided to try Don Gaspacho for the first time and as soon as we walked in we were treated like family. The server was pleased to explain to us about every flavor. We were given many samples. My kids couldn’t make up their minds and the server was incredibly gracious through the whole ordeal. In the end we all ended up with a tasty dessert. The ice cream is delicious, but the service is the reason that I will continue going back to Don Gaspacho. This place is a real family treasure. Can’t wait for summer!

Tasty Mexican ice cream and their customer service is superb. Don’t be afraid to try new flavors(they will give you a sample upon request). If you are feeling adventurous I would recommend their tostilocos… chips(like doritos), peanuts, jicama, cucumber, plenty of hot sauce and cueritos(pork skins). It doesn’t sound too appetizing, but it’s pretty good lol… Parking is tough since they share a tiny lot with Little Ceasars, and a liquor store.

Super delicious ice cream and amazing service.(I tried the chocolate flavor and avocado flavor. Both were delicious.) The ice cream is tasty and creamy without being too sweet. Wayyyy better than chain ice cream shops. Support local businesses. Can’t wait to try other ice cream flavors and the paletas.

I hadn’t tried Don Gazpacho even though I live only a few blocks away. Now the hard part is going to be not going there all the time! Best mangonada I can recall having, and super nice staff. The parking lot can get crazy because it’s a weird strip mall thing, but if you make the right on Huntwood, there’s street parking just past the parking lot overlooking the skate park and stuff. Also, the Unilocal map is wrong. it’s the shopping center on the SW corner of Tennyson and Huntwood.

Sooo delicious! I got the banana split, with three favors, I got the fresh strawberry, Nutella, and kaluha favor ice cream, taste sooo good! Highly recommend this store! Note, this store is a bit hard to find, do not rely on google map to find this location, I had to use waze to find this place.

This hole-in-the-wall snack shop took me back to Mexico as soon as I walked through the door. The décor was charming and their sweets even more. The staff was very kind and attentive and the young lady behind the counter gave us samples of almost every flavor-without having to ask! Awesome! They explained their unique flavors such as chongos(a mexican cheese dessert), corn, and avocado ice cream, as well as their ice cream«specials». My mom settled on number 6 — two generous scoops of rich sorbet covered in hot sauce and Tarjin, wow!!! A surprising combination, the duo reminded me of the snack carts that sold fruit covered in chili and limon afterschool. I tried a simple 3 scoop of the chongos, pine nut, and creamy coconut. The ice cream was rich and thick, reminiscent of the ice creams I had on my family vacations to Mexico. Service, ambience, and quality — all 5 stars. Can’t wait to go back!

Cool little place I stumbled upon the other day. First and foremost, they have a very colorful and inviting setup, and the service is awesome. The gentleman, presumably the manager, and the young lady that helped us were very friendly and were willing to allow us to taste the flavors I wasn’t familiar with. Once I was set with what I wanted to order, they were quick to make it for us, while telling us about the processes they take to make sure the flavors are good! It was almost like a wine tasting experience, but with ice cream. There always was a story about how they got the flavors they came up with. I think that’s cool, in my book. I’m a big fan of supporting local, independent businesses, and encourage people to check this place out. It’s nestled next to the Stop n’ Rob, I mean Stop & Save, and next to an independent Chinese fast food place. I think I have found a place for my blow days.

Some great ice cream. All hand-made and quite a few Mexican snacks. I tried the tostilocos for the first time. It was great. If you’re craving some salty snack, with a little spices, perfect. I was able to get a bit or two of ice cream from my girl and we were all set.

Don Gaspacho Palateria has the usual mexican ice cream, ice bars as well as the combinations: Mangonadas, tostilocos, dorilocos, and other yummy desserts. eats: scoop of lime/strawberry ice cream(2@, 2/3.25) –fresh, natural tasting, no sugar added –tasted sweet though(strawberry). drips: –friendly service –panhandler in front of caesar’s, just shake ur head when asked…

This place is great. I know it just opened and I hope their customer service is not this great just now that they continue to treat customers as friends. A friend posted a picture of a popular mexican shaved ice specialty and when i realized it was close to my mom’s house i decided to check them out. They have a lot of flavors, including avocado, pistachio, coconut, hazelnut AND even tequila. My son got a scoop of their«gansito» ice cream and he loved it. It is right next to a Little Caesar’s and they do have parking but it does get crazy packed. It is cash only but there is also an ATM inside the liquor store two doors down. I will definitely make a lot more stops there this summer.
