Decided to get some lunch on my way home from work… Chose L&L because I was thinking Hawaiian… got the beef short ribs to go. As I’m at home and eating, I’m pretty disappointed because they are too salty. I should have just gone to my go to spot in the area… Ono Hawaiian BBQ… won’t be coming here again. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good amount of food… but the quality was not good.

Pretty standard Hawaiian fast food. Food came out a bit slow and there wasn’t exactly anything spectacular about this place… But at least I got my chicken katsu fix. Tables could use a better wipe down.

L&L is located all the way at the corner of this tiny strip of restaurants and businesses and we missed it the first time and had to circle back around. The Latin lady and the Asian man at the register are super nice and friendly. The restaurant is clean, quiet, no-fuss, which is perfect for those that want to get in, order their food and get out. One important thing to note is that their food tastes different than the other L&L’s in the bay area… This location has food that tastes soooo good. I don’t know why. Yes, I know it’s a franchise. It reminds me of the L&L in Hawaii which tastes waaaaaaaaaaay better than the Bay Area locations but this is now my new favorite L&L… Affordable, delicious, ono… Love their lilikoi passion drinks too…

Typical Hawaiian bbq. Most of the Hawaiian bbq places are the same. But they’ve never let me down here. I usually get the garlic shrimp or the chicken katsu.

Good food at a reasonable price. I have never been disappointed in their food, nor have I had any problems with their staff. The only downfall of this particular establishment is that they only accept cash. If you forget cash, there is an arm machine within the establishment, but there is a charge for usage. Overall, great food, and I will continue eating here.

–1 For the cash only inconvenience. Really, this is 2016. –1 For the blandness of the food. We came here twice and both times the food was not quite on par with the other locations. I’ll stick with the one in Fremont going forward. –1 for no ice and dirty tables at opening time. Hence, the hiring sign in the window, I guess.

I’ve been here quite a few times– Always get the Kahlua Pig with cabbage. They are consistent with their quality. I give them 5STARS– because on my last visit on NYE, unaware that they were closing early– I called 5 mins before closing, and they still took my order. Thank You! =)

I only have a 30-minute break so decided to order the food ahead of time and pick it up. When I get there its CASHONLY! Are you kidding me? Anyone who has a business in my opinion should have a credit /debit card machine! This is ridiculous. I had to drive to my bank around the corner and get the cash. Their goes my 30-minutes lunch break. I was late getting back. Normally I go to Ono BQ and order the exact same thing. BQ Mix. Even though its taste ok, the portion size was sooo much smaller then ONOBQ. And it cost more. Cabbage? Few strips on the bottom. I love cabbage and their was hardly nothing! I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE!!!

Worst L&L I’ve been to. The food was a lot greasy than usual and super super over priced. I paid $ 20 for a combo plate and beverage. The service was super slow. I think I waited for 45mins and there was only one other person in the restaurant. It is super dirty in there and smells. Never ever going to eat there ever again. Lol

Not a bad place at all. I’ve been coming here since I was in high school or middle school? I cant remember. The macaroni salad is delic! I ordered a sea food combo plate the other day and they kind of confused/messed up my order — no biggie because I still ate it all. Lol.

The kalua pork was very salty, with soy sauce, not the kalua flavor. I used to live down the street and ate this all the time. I mentioned this to the guy who cooks, but he said that’s they way it is and shrugged his shoulders. I’m no stranger to Kalua pork. Kalua pork in Honolulu is salty. Heck, I’m pinoy… I salt everything. No apologies… cool. Not coming back for that. Too bad coz I used to love it. Boo.

Quality has gone down over the years and the guy at the counter has NO customers service at all. He didn’t even bother to greet or repeat our order. Too much money for too little food. No coming back here again. $ 4.16 for 2 regular fountain drinks. 2 meals cost $ 17.05. Nope never again.

Fish wasn’t anything spectacular. But the portions were pretty awesome. We were greeted with great customer service. Only take cash bit there’s an atm in the store. My husband Lau Lau was a great size, want cooked underground, but it was well made. Over all this place is A ok. And we’ll be coming back

Extremely well kept. Clean and fast service. Great portions, you get what you pay for. Delicious mac salad, and wonderful BBQ. They actually helped custom oder our meal to get more of what we wanted for a cheaper price(great things to know). I’ll continue my support to this location as long as I’m still in the area.

Chicken katsu is delicious. You get a big serving for what you pay for. I absolutely love the macaroni salad that comes with the meal. Yummy! Definitely going to come back!

Food was catered to my job. The BBQ chicken was good… the large plate of white rice seemed out of place– very dry no sauce. The fried chicken was definitely not trimmed before cooking it had large strips of fat on it. First and last time I will eat there.

I usually order the original chicken katsu for lunch, but decided to try the chicken katsu with the curry sauce on the side. It was pretty good, but I still prefer the original gravy over the curry sauce. They gave me a side of gravy for no extra charge. Some of my other go-to items are the BBQ grilled chicken, spam masubi, and grilled chicken masubi. Love the mac salad here too. Has really good flavor. I’ve also tried their saimin, but I’m not a fan. Still gotta try their loco moco. Cash only!

This L&L is in a strip mall and surrounded by a few fast food options including McD’s, Dairy Belle and a Chinese takeout. Of the lot, I would lean to L&L. It is not healthy by any means but neither of any the other options. I went there around 7.30 in the evening and it was totally empty. There was 1 employee who was friendly who took and the order and made the food. I was glad that they let me swap the the mac(which has seafood) with veggies. The bbq chicken was pretty good. Don’t like that they only accept cash. I can see this being popular for those from the hospital across the street and want to avoid the cafeteria food.

Three words to use at L & L: Regular Chicken Katsu. The portion on this order is pretty big. It was also filling. The spam masubis here are tasty here as well. One thing about the L&L location, I found something interesting. I noticed is they lock down their air freshener in the bathroom. People can’t be that scandalous to take it right? Hmmm I could be wrong.
