M&A Appliances

I started my legal proceeding against this business today. They have delivered real bad appliances and tons of fake promises.
Kept me and my wife waiting for days to pick up appliances they sold and didn’t work properly.
He will give all assurance of 90 day policy but will flake on it himself.
I waited & believed their word for more than 40 days now. Spoke to my attorney and I am all ready to send out my demand letter as per court directives!

These guys are badass. They showed up and told me that the ones I bought were wrong because my electrical wasn’t correct didn’t charge me extra they went back to their shop got the right stuff and came and hooked me up great guys trustworthy they speak Spanish and English.

Steer clear, this is not honest business!
I bought a refrigerator from them. The first week the refrigerator broke down it took them two weeks to come to pick up and another two weeks to fix and return. In addition, There were missing drawers and was not complete even though the ad said «like new.» Airon was not nice and misled. We had texted him for two month about the problems. Airon either not responses to us or played game and manipulated. At end we gave up. We went online to buy the part for $ 70 after two months with all the veg and fruits were cold-​damaged.
Airon and his brother have this business. They made ad in Craigslist as the refrigerator’s owner, this was not honest. In addition, they used two names for their business, one is «A Used Appliances», another is «M&A Appliances» with the same address and same phone. If you search for «A Used Appliances», it does not exist in the Unilocal.On the other hand when I told Airon I was going to complain him, then he told me do not mention «M&A» said this was his brother’s. However, when I asked to return the refrigerator, Airon said he had to discuss with his brother.
Again, be careful this guy!

This applicance company is listing their appliances on Craigslist under the for sale «by owner» section, instead of in the «by dealer» section. They also don’t include any disclosure that they are actually a dealer… not even in the email reply to my inquiry about one of their refrigerators. And when I asked for an explanation… because I didn’t want to just assume that they were intentionally trying to mislead customers… I got an aggressive email reply from Airon that was anything but friendly. Based on the email exchanges I’ve had with Airon, I would have to advise to stay away from this company, as clearly they are not completely honest and I can only imagine what would happen should you have an issue with one of the appliance you purchase from them.

SHADY is all I can say!
Buyer beware and be very careful what you buy from this company. Do your homework on the appliance you are buying. Make sure you get a product that you can still get parts for because if you can’t, then he will not stand up for it if there is a problem.
Bought a fridge from him and within 30 days of purchase, while kitchen was getting built btw, we installed it, but come to find out the water and ice did not work. We called him he came out to look at it, but told us to get the part and he would install it.
A that would be fine if the part was still available, so when I asked for money back he said there is NO money back guarantee written in SMALL print on the receipt.
Anyways BE VERY CAREFULL with this company!!!

Got a set of washer and dryers from them last Nov at great prices. Of course these being used appliances you would expect some kinks here and there, had to call them a couple of times when the appliances were within the 3 months warranty. They were very responsive and quickly scheduled appointments to come and fix the issues. A few days ago the washer stopped spinning again and I called them to help take a look, even though I was dreading a «you’re no longer on the warranty» response. It turns out i didn’t have to worry at all, hey schedule an appointment for the next day. Airon and his colleague came took apart the washer in literally a minute and replace the faulty part with in 5 minutes. The service and response time was great, no hassle at all, you got a problem and they’ll fix it. I would recommend them to friends and use them again.

Our office needed a refrigerator, but why pay for something new? M&A brought us a clean, refurbished model for a great price. We did experience an issue about two months later, but they honored their warranty, and came to see if a repair could be made. When it could not, they brought us a replacement — AND told me to call if there were any issues even though our warranty date was close to expiring.
Would I use them again? YES. YES. YES.

I called last Friday to inquire about a washer and dryer. I desperately needed on and I needed it fast. After answering all of my questions and providing me with information about my options, we scheduled delivery and installation to take place the very next morning at 9:00 am (Saturday). I didn’t have to pay until both appliances were installed and working properly.
As it turned out, the appliances just barely fit into my washroom. About 30 minutes after they’d left my home, I called them again and asked about a smaller washing machine (since they had 27 inches and 24 inches. They were back 60 minutes later to switch out the washers. I had even used the other washing machine while they were gone and it was no problem. They had encouraged me to do so.
It’s only been a few days but both appliances appear to be working very well and I am so happy about my experience. The two gentlemen who installed the washer & dryer were very polite and courtious throughout the entire process.
I was not looking forward to starting off my Saturday dealing with this because servicemen can often be rude and sometimes even lazy. But I had a wonderful experience. So far, I am very happy with my appliances… I’ll come back and post maybe in 90 days, after my warranty has expired… But I expect to still be happy with M & A and my new washer and dryer!

I needed a washer to replace my 7 year old clothes washer that was dying a slow death. I didn’t want to spend a whole lot and started looking around locally for used but warrantied washers first as I thought the closer the appliance store, the faster I would get the replacement washer.
First place I tried was in Daly City. They had an old Maytag that I liked. Payed for it and they said that they would deliver it in two days after they checked it out for proper operation. They called the next day and said that they needed to order a part and that it wouldn’t be ready until after Christmas. Well that wasn’t going to work! Decided to get my money back and look elsewhere.
A friend recommended one place in Hayward which I called but they didn’t deliver to San Francisco. However they offered me a 6 month warranty if I picked it up myself. I thought, sure, that’s a good deal so I had planned on going out to the store to pick up the washing machine. I had planned to go today with my van to pick up a washer but was just too busy at work to get a long enough break to run over and get it.
Noon time rolls around and I’m thinking — there’s no way I’m going to get it today. Bad news because my large family is already three days behind on laundry. We literally do 6 loads per day so you can imagine how bad things are beginning to smell. So… how many times can you recycle your stuff before it becomes too gross? Ah, but I digress.
I get desperate and start looking up places on Unilocal and found M&A Appliances in Hayward — but a review said they delivered to the City so I’m willing to give them a call.
I didn’t get the name of the gentleman that answered the phone but he was polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. I told him my situation and exactly the type of washer I wanted. He helped me to narrow it down to a machine that best met my needs and my budget. It also comes with a 90 day warranty.
So I ask when they can deliver and he says: «My truck is here loading up right now so we can get it delivered to you in about an hour — maybe an hour and a half.» You’ve got to be kidding me! My jaw dropped to the floor. Amazing. Too good to be true? No, it was real, AND they delivered on time as promised! I was at work so I gave him my wife’s cell phone number and they coordinated without any problems. WOW WOW WOW! Try to get that from any big box retail store — not going to happen.
But wait, that’s not all! When they arrived, Hugo & Eric went above and beyond the call of duty and did many extra things to make the installation go so smoothly. My wife raved about how courteous and helpful they were and that she was never more impressed by any other delivery personnel. They not only installed and tested the washer but spent the time to show how this particular model worked. Then they showed the invoice and thoroughly explained everything on it — totally professional!
Needless to say, M&A Appliances has earned me as a customer for life! If you want expert advice, timely delivery, and courteous knowledgeable installers who go the extra mile, then this is the place to give your business to.

Called Airon because I didn’t want to drive all the way to Hayward and told him I needed a washer and Dryer that was affordable and going to last. He sent pictures, and hooked me up with good pricing on delivery and install. It was that easy.
Hi 90 day warranty is great and although we had an issue with the washer, his team swapped it out within a day no questions asked. There is no reason to overspend on appliances like W/​D and I would recommend M&A any day.

Bought a Fridge from these guys a few weeks later fridge broke down. Needless to say it was hard to get them to fix it as they gave me the run around.

I bought my washer and dryer from these guys two years ago and they have worked great. They delivered them, carried them up the stairs to my third-​floor San Francisco apartment, and installed them. Great service for the price.

Last week I needed a gas dryer for my rental. Since M&A are a few doors down from my office I gave them a try. One evening Airon was super helpful as he showed me whirlpool and Kenmore models with their good and bad points. His honesty was quite refreshing. The next day they delivered and installed a refurbished dryer and the renters are extremely happy. All for $ 130 with 30 day warranty. Happy renter = happy landlord.

Last summer I purchased a used washer, dryer and refrigerator from M&A Appliances (aka Quality Used Appliances) in Hayward following review of a Craigslist listing. Two weeks after purchase, the washer would not work. A mere two days later, Airon and Maynor were at my house replacing the failed washer with the newer model. The prices of the appliances were reasonable, and included free delivery and installation (including connection and test of the refrigerator’s ice maker water line). One year later the appliances are still going strong!
