I have 20+ years of experience providing counseling services, working in agency, college, and private practice settings. I work with with adults and teens as individuals, couples or families, to help people feel less depressed or anxious, cope with mood swings; or to help address life difficulties such as women’s issues (career/family balance, PMS, menopause, etc.); grief and loss (including pet loss); coping with change; relationship issues; learning how to set limits; getting along better with family, friends or co-workers; dealing with family members who have drug or alcohol issues; improving communication; making tough decisions.

I’m Julie Machado, MFT, a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFC27937). My passion is working with adults, families and teens to help them improve their lives. I have a special interest in working with people who have mood difficulties such as depression and mood swings. I also enjoy working with teens, women’s issues, and adults in transition. I value working with a great variety of people from different ethnic, cultural, spiritual or religious backgrounds and lifestyles.
