Established in 1977.

RN Security is locally owned and operated since 1977. We pride ourself in our outstanding customer service. Our trained and knowledgeable technicians perform quality installations and provide excellent service work.

We are a UL certified fire contractor. We provide fire alarm system testing, as well as monitoring. We also do smoke detector sensitivity testing and NFPA fire test and inspections.

We also install and monitor burglar alarm systems, as well as monitor, and video camera surveillance systems, and access control systems.

Business Owner

Rich was born in Marin County, and grew up in Hayward. He began as a locksmith in the late 60’s and then opened up his own alarm company in the late 70’s. Rich is a hands on owner, and all his employees have been with the company for a minimum of 6 — 13 years. He truly cares about each and every customer, which is a big factor in his success, even through the tough economic times. He prides himself in servicing his customers needs promptly, and having an on-​call technician 24 hours a day for emergencies.
