Great food, servers, and live music! And they now serve alcohol which is a plus! Tostadas look overpriced but the amount of ceviche placed on it is enough to serve 3 tostadas (great flavor). Best seafood restaurant in the city of Hayward.

Horrible horrible cocktail!!! Presentation look «fancy» overpriced-​water downed, no flavor, no avocados! For 15 ??? I won’t be coming back

Pretty good and delicious Mexican restaurant, a lot off choice of plates for a fair price!

Waited nearly 15 mins we stood in the front for about 5 mins people stared and just looked then we sat for about 10 mins!!! Still people just ignoring us. We had to get up OURSELVES to get menus and finally flagged someone down to come clean our table. For a grand opening and they already starting their customer service like this yeah I don’t know if I will return and we live across the street.

A friend of mine posted a picture of the sushi plates they serve here and let me tell u they looked bomb! However the taste is another story, they don’t really taste like sushi at all and in my opinion they just have to much going on. The rolls that we got were suppose to be two different ones but both had the same taste. The sushi rolls are deep fried in some kind of bread batter, they have cream cheese, which would have been nice to know so that we would have ordered ours without it, they both are made with cooked shrimp chicken and red meat all in one! They are also topped with some kind of sauce and avocado, they really need to list the preparation and ingredients of every roll on their menu. Service was ok, nothing special! Cleanliness not so good, I ended up finding a piece of hair in one of our rolls, not pleasing to my appetite.

My boyfriend decided to try this place since its new. We didnt expect a mexican restaurant with sushi! I instantly fell in love. Their food was great! I will definitely come back :)

This place was great. I enjoyed everything on my dish the Tunel sushi dish was delicious. First time trying out this restaurant. I come back it has become my favorite place

Felt deceived. Not Mexican food! Came here for lunch and it’s all hamburgers and sammiches. They have laying seafood plates bit that’s it. I was very disappointed

The only place with Authentic Mexican breakfast food around Tennyson and tampa I will definitely recommend this place try it out. The Huevos Rancheros are really good. I usually don’t write reviews on my first visit but I had to make an exception for this place. Also their customer service it’s great they treat you really nice welcome you and thank for making business with them.

Hole in the wall place. Heard about it from a neighbor of ours so we had to try it out. They had normal breakfast foods that were big portions and really good.
Only reason for –1 star was the service. We sat around for 10 – 15 mins before someone gave us a menu to look at. Bad thing is the restaurant was not at all full and we sat off to the side by ourselves. After that, the service was good once they knew we were there.

A hidden Gem! I got an avocado burger, OMG it has more than a slice or two, the whole bun was covered in thick slices of avocado and the burger it self wasn’t one of those frozen patties that’s perfectly round, it was hand made. The only down fall is the burger was so big I didn’t have much room for the fries. I don’t like to leave food on my plate but the portions was huge! way bigger than I expected. The staff is extremely nice too. I will be bringing my boyfriend here very soon, I know he can eat the whole burger and fries and not have any left over!

Fair warning — My review is biased since I am not a big fan of seafood. I will eat seafood but it needs to be super fresh and can’t be fishy.
I called to order take out and asked for the chicken or carne tacos. Turns out, they only shrimp or marlin tacos. I decided to try the marlin tacos against my better judgement. They were super fishy and I ended up dumping them right outside.
I felt bad since the people who work here seemed super nice.

This place is over-​hyped by some friends. Came in here and ordered:
Cocktel de Camaron with pulpo it was average at best.
Taco de camaron. Was ok.
The service was slow and ask for the hidden menu because that’s were all the Mexican food is at, kind of dumb is you ask me. Other than that the place is ok. Don’t go about your way to come here unless if you are around the area.

I first had a ceviche tostada which was the best. Wow. It was soooo good. The flavor was perfect and the portions were big i was expecting a normal tostada not to packed with ceviche but it was PACKED with cevichr!
I had the huevos rancheros with hash browns. Pretty simple but very yummy. Of course i only could finish half because of the tostada.
The chef then sent us over a waffle with strawberries, whip cream, and lechera. OMG amazing but I was yo stuffed!
My co worker had the marlin omelette and he loved it.
Will be back for more tostadas! They were perfect!

Prices are very reasonable.
Food was amazing.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
I ordered the fish and shrimp tacos and they are big so you get full fast. My husband and kids ordered the shrimp cocktail and they were very happy as well.

I have gone several times to Sofia’s Restaurant. Starting from the waitress they were friendly and greeting customers properly with a positive welcoming. It is a family friendly restaurant which you can enjoy any day. Food has a great seasoning their specialty is sea food on which I highly recommend full of flavor and freshness unlike many other places it provides great service and delicious food. Regardless of which plate you may choose from the food is absolutely delicious.

Came here today for lunch to get a chicken philly & they ran out of
12pm? Smh ordered the two egg breakfast it was good. Nothing to write home to mama about but its was filling.

ok ok ok ok! so i have never been here, however my cousin went here and ordered two shrimp tacos. when i seen it, i asked for a bite. i sunk my teeth into it and WOW! it was the best shrimp taco ive ever bit into. i asked him where did he get that from and he told me its a new Restaurant on Tennyson called Sofia’s, i work right down the street. i will be going back soon.

This Resturant is amazing! I ordered the shrimp tacos at first I was a little skeptical becuase i’m not use to having all the things on my tacos that came on them but the flavoring and the sauces they used were amazing! I was extremely satisfied with my order! they food was great quality as well! I will be back for sure!

New restaurant! Friendly and fast service. This will be my new local restaurant. I suggest trying the seafood dishes.
