Ten Perfect Nails

I’ve been going to this place for about 5 years & the service & work has definitely gone down the drain! I went in last Saturday to get a regular mani/​pedi & the ladies there try their hardest to make you get a gel manicure, I prefer the regular for specific reasons.
The lady that did my mani/​pedi did a horrible job! My usual nail tech wasn’t there & I should’ve followed my first mind & left. Not to mention my polish on my nails came off 2 days later to the point where I had to take my polish off completely! As I’m leaving work yesterday, I notice that the polish on my feet is coming off as well!
This place is 5 mins from my house, but I will not be returning!

I MUST give many thanks to Julie and her co worker (didn’t get her name) for the amazing work they did on my mani and pedi that I was in desperate need of! They are very professional and show interest in their customers needs.
The place is also very clean and relaxing. Because of my experience I plan on coming here as my regular spot.

Someone referred me to this shop which made me go in the first place so when I went in it was pretty full which was a good sign but it was a small place the wait wasn’t long I was I guess the first mistake I made was not going to Jackie who my referral told me to ask for so I’m getting my nails done and things seem to be fine until the lady starts to paint them horrible job so I go to get my feet done as I start to notice how sloppy they looked I asked the lady about my nails and she pretty much ignore my whole question to why I had paint on my fingers and to why it looked so poorly done she looked at me and smiled shook her head and went and got me some foam slippers by then I’m irritated and ready to go vowing to never to go back and by the next day less then 24 hours I have 3 chipped nails

I have been coming here for atleast 3 – 4 years. LeeLee always does my nails. I have NEVER left here unsatisfied.

I live in San Francisco, and I have no problem with coming here. My mom has been coming here way over 15 years when they first opened their shop in Oakland then Hayward. Michael and Jackie are the owners of this shop, and they are both amazing!
Queeny used to do my nails, but since she’s been gone, the lovely Tracey has been doing my nails and eyebrows. I rarely get my eyebrows done since I like them thick, and Tracey does them perfectly every time for me. They never look too thin or too thick. She razors my eyebrows for me. You can get them waxed, but I prefer razor since I believe wax takes off a little more hair every time you do that process.
I used to do fake nails, but I am going on my third year of wearing my real nails. Tracey starts off my process by asking me how I am doing, and to pick my color. Right after she gets a container filled with warm water to soak my hand in, she files my nails and shapes them accordingly, cleans my nail bids, and massages my hand right before polishing me. She is gentle usually, and I never really experience cuts or anything when she does my nails. She also does a polish change on my feet and cuts my nails down for me.
Conclusion: This has been my nail shop for years. I have yet to find another nail shop that is thorough and make sure that every nail is literally perfect before walking out. They service you really fast and greet every customer that comes into the shop. I usually make appointments on their busiest days, so I don’t have to wait long. Although Tracey is the one I go to every time, every manicurist in the shop does nails beautifully thanks to the owner Jackie. Eyebrows and eyelashes are extremely popular to get here as well! My mom and sister always get Jackie or Michael to do their nails, since they are the most experienced in the shop.

Worst nail shop in the area! They over charging with generic nail polish. Looks like I’m going to be having to go find another nail salon. I got my nails done for my birthday a week ago and 4 days later the half the polish on 1 of my nails came off. Nail polish so cheap and generic my boyfriend peeled all of them with his own hands I will never give them my money again I found a new nail shop way better than all shops I’ve been to. Y’all lost a customer.

Their work is decent. A lil on the ghetto side. That feeling when I had to take my purse with me to wash my hands. VERY Limited on the gel polishes tho. I found a new place does that does my nails thinner and perform better work, so I am sold on the new salon. This place was OK for the time being.

Great nails, but place is in need of SPRING CLEANING IN THE WINTER! Always enjoy service never had bad experience. Thank you.

This place was absolutely disgusting. For one, it looks like they have never cleaned it since it opened. Tons of cross-​contamination going on and improper cleaning between clients. Not to mention the waxing habits are horrendous and against state guidelines. I was so grossed out by this place that I will never go there again ever. This place should be shut down immediately, I just don’t know how this place is still licensed to operate. What really scares me is as I was getting my nails done I started looking at the licenses located behind the manicurist table and I noticed around the entire place every license that was hung up had a piece of paper over the licensee name so you could not see if the name matched the manicurist that was doing your nails. There is a reason why they do that and more than likely it is because they are not licensed. From the way they were doing things it was very clear that this place is disgusting, and properly run, and they are not licensed individuals. I also witnessed them not even cleaning between clients as they lay down on the table to get waxes. They also we’re dipping into the same wax container for several different clients at the same time. I can’t believe anyone would recommended this place to me. Unfortunately I went there on the recommendation of someone else. I will never listen to that person’s recommendation again. Run don’t walk away from this place and don’t look back.

Rushed job. Two different ladies one was older and had the worst attitude. Another one was rough aswell not worth it. Disappointed.

My regular nail lady is on vacation so I decided to check this place out.
Came here on the advice of my coworker and made an appt with Lee. I got a gel full set and love it! Her techniques are not what I’m used to but she got the job done right. And fast!
Lee took care of me — I was sweating up a storm because it was hot AF so she grabbed a fan and pointed it my way! :)
They have their own parking lot in the back but if you blink you can miss the tiny driveway entrance to the lot. There’s a back door you can enter through so you don’t have to walk around to the front.
A full set is $ 20, plus $ 5 because I wanted them pointy, and $ 8 for gel polish. Oh! And if you pay with Visa there’s a $ 1 charge which she failed to mention until AFTER she swiped my card.
All in all I’m very happy with the end result but Lee is giving my regular nail girl a run for her money!
Random note: I thought it was interesting they didn’t have paper towels after you wash your hands, they had a full bin of clean white towels to wipe your hands and a dirty laundry hamper to toss it into when you’re done.

Julie did a great job in cleaning my cuticles. Quick and efficient. The waxing was done by Linda, which was ok. I guess it’s because I’m used to my other salon place who does a thorough job on waxing specific areas of the face. Also, the special pedicure was very nice and Julie did a good job. I will be back.

I’ve been going to Ten perfect for years and my mom and grandma has been going to them when they originally in Oakland. I go to Tina for my nails and she does a great job I’m never disappointed. Whatever design I have in mind she does it for me. Julie does my eyebrows perfectly just the way I like them full and medium thick. Never had a bad experience here. I moved to Las Vegas and haven’t found a place that feels like home like ten perfect!

REVIEW IS FOR EYEBRROWS.
They should change their name from Ten Perfect Nails to «Ten Perfect Nails and Two Fucked Up Brows» I have never been so upset about my eyebrows in my life. Yeah I paid her, out of kindness but I didn’t want to. One of my brows is bushier than the other and she only arched one brow! –_​_​_​– She didn’t even clean under my brow right. UHG. I hope the woman I usually go to, to do my brows will forgive me for going elsewhere. Moral of the story: DON’T COME HERE for brows.

Always a friendly bunch… since moving from NY 2 years ago, this is the only place I found that gives me a bit of NY… not much, but just a bit.

I will never go back here again ! Yes they may be good at doing nails but they are the worst at eyebrows ! I use to have nice thick eyebrows !!! Untill I let them do them for me !! They completely ruined my eyebrows !!! She clearly heard me say that I only wanted a clean up but she did wat she wanted and made my eyebrows supper
Thin and un even !!! I highly don’t appreciate this !! Then the lady had the nerve to tell me to fill it in ?? Ummm noooo I don’t want to have to fill in my eyebrows I’m not that kind of girl ! I will never go back there again !!! They should

I got the works. mani, brows, lip and chin. Tina did an excellent job. I work go back. I went in a pinch since I was not able to get to my regular person. Great job

I wanted to find a nail salon closer to my house and went here for the first time. Julie did my french shellac. She was so sweet and nice. She did seem preoccupied with her phone and was often texting, but I didn’t mind much as long as she didn’t completely ignore me and gave me a beautiful manicure, which she did. She kept laughing toward the end, because she had trouble pronouncing my name and wanted to call me «people,» instead of Phoebe. Lol! In any case, good convos, great nails and reasonable prices. I will definitely come back and see Julie again.

I drive to Hayward just to see Julie! I’ve never not been satisfied! I recommend her for all types of nail shapes and designs.
i will go again!
