History

Established in 2012.

Yogurt Hill is a family owned business that opened its doors to the public on November 3rd 2012.

Right now, we serve 8 flavors, 4 swirls and over 30 topping choices for you to enjoy.

Yogurt Hill’s family wanted to bring a twist to the original concept of self-​serve… so we decided to begin a «bottoms bar» for our customers to have a special treat on the top and on the bottom of their yogurt bowl; sandwich style!!! The bottoms bar includes Fudge Brownies, Love Letters, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Cinnamon Rolls, Wafers, Madeleines, and Cones.

Our frozen yogurt has up to 50 flavors to choose from, in addition, the flavors are all kosher and UD approved. We at Yogurt Hill will maintain to serve 2 No Sugar Added flavors at all times, 1 Tart Flavor, 1 Sorbet, 2 Low Fat and 2 Non Fat flavors.

Lastly, this is just the beginning for us at Yogurt Hill! This may be our first store but we sure have our share of secrets to make our product stand out and win the hearts of our customers.

Yogurt man is overbearing, but the yogurt is good. I found myself Unilocaling another place because I didn’t want to deal with the overbearing yogurt man. I like their flavor and the quality of the ice cream but overbearing yogurt man must learn to trust us to serve ourselves.

I was headed for Mexican food but got sidetracked, so am having frozen yogurt for lunch. The man at the counter who I assume is the owner, jumped up to give me samples and tell me about the new flavors. This place makes me happy.

I took my kids here after school for a treat! i like how there were many flavors and topping to choose from! you can never go wrong with froyo. But the scenery always on B street near the theater is always nice.
Only problem I had with this place is I would advise they check their products periodically because I came across spoiled frozen yogurt. So no bigggy i express the issue and they let me get a new one! no reason to make big deal about it just happy i caught it.

Cute little spot right by the theaters in downtown Hayward. I love downtown. It’s not a bad area surprisingly. It’s clean and really great vibes over there. I like how when I walked in I turned to my right and there’s this huge mirror. I thought that was hella dope since I’m always looking at myself. The price is $ 0.49 per oz which I think is quite expensive, but you do get 15% off your purchase when you check in if you’re a first timer here. Today was my first time there. As far as the flavors, not much of a variety but they were quite delicious.
I knocked down two stars because my cousin’s froyo was SPOILED. She got this mocha flavored one and it tasted sour. I was like ew… Big mistake! Anyways, I would come back again if I were in the area. But I know which flavor I’m NOT getting lol.

The service here was impeccable. The young lady at the register was very sweet and considerate. She made sure that our visit here was pleasant, which it was. Definitely recommend this to others. The yogurt was great as well.

I consider myself a frozen yogurt connoisseur. I can’t tell you how many yogurt shops I’ve been to, From California to Arizona This is the best!. No Sh** it Has the highest quality liquid yogurt that you can get. Don’t be fooled by chains like Yogurtland. I don’t think it is actually even yogurt. It is made from a powder and water is added. There is a huge difference in the quality and the flavor. If You haven’t tried a independent yogurt shop try one and make sure they use liquid a formula and not powder. Good times !!

Came here over the weekend with my girl for some after lunch dessert. First thing I noticed was how clean it was. Then, as I walked up to make my choice, I thought that my choice of flavors was unique. Nothing crazy but not your average selection and your choice of toppings was what you would expect. The lady behind the counter was very nice and very courteous. She rang us up with a smile and sent us on our way. If you’re in the downtown area and looking for a light dessert this place is definitely worth a try. I plan on returning to enjoy with other friends.

My husband and I went here for the first time and we feel jipped. We had two yogurts and the total came up to $ 19. Honestly, we didn’t even have a lot and I was shocked when the cashier told us our amount was $ 19. She didn’t have the best customer service either which did not help. We are definitely not going here again because of the overpricing.

This place used to be better when it was owned by the company that had the white piano in there a few years ago. The most recent 2 times I’ve come here after not coming here for a long time their prices seem to be way more expensive than other froyo places I go. I paid around $ 9 for my froyo when normally it’s around $ 7 and I pretty much get the same thing at every spot. They have less flavor choices than most places and not a big variety of toppings. They do have waffle cones.
They also close pretty early compared to other froyo spots which is another star knocked off.

Yogurt was good but the service was terrible. My family and I checked Unilocal for store hours before coming in on Sunday night which stated closing time at 9 pm. We walked in around 7:30 pm and were told by the young girl working there that she would be closing within 5 minutes so that she could clean up and leave by 8. We looked at the front door to double check the store hours which actually stated that closing time on Sunday was 10pm! We bought our yogurt and took a seat, and though it was obvious that she wanted us to rush and leave, my family and I attempted to persist on enjoying our yogurt inside. We were the last party to leave the store and and all others before us were let out by the worker who would unlock and re-​lock the door to make sure no one else came in. Meanwhile, she turned down about 8 other customers.
Around 7:40 she unlocked the door for two of her friends who walked in dressed up, seeming as if they themselves were ready for a night out. It was very clear to us that this was her motive for closing so early. My family was a party of 12 and it’s fair to say that we brought a good amount of business. In the end, we stood outside the store and finished our yogurt in the cold. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

This place is average. Not too many toppings, the yogurt is OK. It’s a mom and pop shop so I don’t mind spending my money at this establishment and enhancing the local community. It’s conveniently located next to the movie theater which is why I usually go there.

They have basic flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cake batter. There isn’t anything special and there are only about 8 flavors.
The toppings are lacking as well. No strawberries or pineapple?! Whaaaaat kind of crazy is that! There was also no cheesecake pieces! Nuts, a few cereals, gummies, chocolate chips, boba & syrup for the most part.
They do have an option to make your own milkshake which I thought was pretty unique for a frozen yogurt place.
I’m giving an extra star because the gentleman at the front is extra sweet!

Pretty average yogurt place. Typical flavors and toppings are pretty minimal (no cookie dough or cheesecake!!!) Lots of gummies though. I only came here because of its location, and the store was empty when I went on a Friday evening. The owner was really nice, but it was very pricey, 0.49/oz. Probably will not come back and just buy something at the grocery.

Great customer service! The owner, I assume, made sure we understood how to use the machines, introduced us to new flavors, told us about happy hours, and discounts. :)
I tried most of the flavors offered, and they were pretty good. However, I like sticking with the original tart flavor. The tart wasn’t awful, but it had a weird taste to it. I wasn’t sure if it was the froyo itself or the mochi I added on.
Comparing to other froyo places I’ve been to, it is pricey here. For the same amount, I would’ve paid a dollar or two less. The 15% discount didn’t help.

5 stars because of the the great customer service we received! I would assume it was the owner who was closing, but he was extremely friendly unlike other yogurt places. There is free wifi for customers which is a plus! And a bathroom which included a baby changing table. Take advantage of their happy hours which are from 4−7pm. By far the cleanest yogurt spot from the sitting area to the restroom. Last thing, take advantage of checking in on Unilocal for 15%

Great place to stop in after a movie. You do get a good selection of yogurt and toppings and all the ones I have taste good. I would like to see fresh peaches during the early summer since the farmers market down the street has some great ones during the summer.
I will admit the one thing I do not like is how they handle their coupons /​frequent card. The coupons are like 15% discounts but they only give you this for 1 yogurt not for the whole bill. This is also bad for their biz as it does not encourage larger purchases. If I go and get 6 cups of yogurt I get the same discount or stars as some one buying 1 cup an then once I earn the discount its only good for 1 cup not all 6. You would be better served buy a discount program that was like other yogurt places where you buy 10 and get 1 free. Much easier to understand and would encourage us larger families to buy more from you.
