Pizza Connection

I do not enjoy giving negative reviews, so I don’t give them lightly. But, I had quite a negative experience here.
I ordered pizza with a group of friends a couple weeks ago and it was just a disaster. The vegan pizza my friend ordered had regular cheese all over it, another pizza was melded with the pizza box (and not able to be separated from it), and the other pizzas/​items were just gross.
The worst part of the experience was not the pizzas, but the way that the management reacted when we called to speak to them. We wanted to bring the pizzas up there and exchange them for what we ordered, but the manager yelled at my friend. She wasn’t trashing the place or anything (we all know that it happens once in a while), but we just wanted an exchange. We didn’t even mention a refund. But the manager instead had the poor driver (who was so nice during everything), drive back out to us and give us our money back! They wouldn’t switch out our pizzas! The whole experience was crazy to me. I have never had that kind of experience anywhere that I’ve ordered food from.
We only ordered from here because our normal place (Nick’s Pizza) wasn’t open yet. Obviously I won’t order from here again and I would strongly advise anyone I know against it. Between the poor quality and the customer service– not worth it.

The manager was so beyond rude the delivery guy apologized for him and have me the owners name so I could reach out and let him know that his manager is not interested in customer service nor he is interested in return business:
On Saturday me and four other people were at my new place painting and decided to get lunch and thought we would try this place… worst mistake ever! My brother who is a vegan still loves pizza just can not have cheese on it, so I ordered him a medium vegan veggie pizza. I ordered myself a small cheese, my father choose a medium with mushroom and pepperoni and my two friends order cheese bread, salad and a bbq chicken pizza.
The pizza I had requested to be vegan was loaded with cheese, my cheese pizza literally was coated in cardboard.
I called to speak with manager in hopes of getting a replacement order but instead I was YELLED at by manager! Telling me it was my fault and that vegans shouldn’t order pizza.
What the hell is wrong with you? Seriously you have someone that wants to give you their money to obtain your product and because a person chooses not to eat anything from an animal they aren’t welcome??? That is not only disrespectful it’s discrimination! After being yelled at and blamed I was told to never order from this place again by the manager! Remind you I called to solely get a replacement order… not to be yelled at or have my brother discriminated against! I demanded a refund for the two pizzas. The delivery driver was super polite and explained to me that his manager is like that all the time and that he personally heard his manager yell at me and apologized on the behalf of the business. I honestly like giving places second chances to win back customers but this is unforgivable as long as that manager is there I see a lot of business going else where.

Super tasty pizza. They can do it however you like, well done, gooey, less crust ect. They use tons of toppings. I got the Ranch chicken and Inferno 8 both were amazing. the Inferno had tons of meat and it was super spicy. I also got the jalepeno poppers which were meh, just stick to the pizza here since it is amazing.

Very good pizza. I had The New York style was as good as I’ve had anywhere. Very good and flavorful sauce. I’d definitely eat there again when I’m in the area.

Love Pizza Connection! Our weekend go to for Great Pizza!!! With their coupons, we usually get 3 larges with 2 toppings on each for $ 25 and it all disappears, no leftovers here. Lots of cheese, plenty of toppings, my family loves this place. We are treated well when we pick up, and it’s always welcoming to walk into. It’s nice seeing them making the pizza while waiting, but it’s never long. They are fast and courteous. Thank you Pizza Connection! You have won us over! About to try their family ravioli tonight and wild cheesy bread. (UPDATE) Ordered the family tray of Ravioli, and 2 wild cheesy breads. Awesome food! The ravioli was packed with meat and delicious, and the cheesy bread disappeared fast. :) Soooo good! Their sauce is very meaty and thick. We have a new family favorite.

This place is great. The quality is outstanding and the value can’t be beat. Just walking into the place you can smell the scratch made authenticity. The employees are cool too.

I love Pizza Connection! I live in Ferndale and despite being spoiled for choice with restaurants we don’t really have a pizza place that I like in town. Thankfully Pizza Connection is close by. Their staff are always super friendly and polite, they have really good pizza and their store is always spotless. The only downside is that they are closed on Sunday’s, but when you’re making a pizza like they do, and you do it with a smile on your face, you deserve a day off.

The pizza was great. I got the deep dish. It was similar to a combination of jets and buddies. The only slight critique is the crust could have been a little crustier… It was a bit on the doughy side but still great. Highly recommend. Also — huge sides of sauce for only a buck.

Holy wow. YUM! Best pizza ’round these here parts.

I really wish I was eating pizza right now instead of actively losing weight because this is the perfect summer night, last minute cheese pizza from heaven.
It just tastes real.
And hot.
And perfect.
It’s the best local pizza I’ve found next to Hippie’s in Clawson.

Their wings with honey bbq sauce is good too! Especially dunked in ranch.
And their bread is yum too!
Really wish they were open Sundays and before 3p weekdays. I think they’d get a lot more business!

Is this place still open? I have heard great reviews but every time I call no one answers.

Pizza Connection has the best value square pizza in the state!
This is a perfect pie. Friendly staff, excellent consistency, and happy taste buds are what I am left with after a trip to this establishment.

Such a huge fan of this place! Next to Green Lantern (which is still our go to for square pizza), I choose Pizza connection! They are very generous with their toppings and the crust is nice and crispy, chewy and doughy all at the same time.
We always get the large square extra crispy half & half. DF gets the pepperoni and black olives and red onions. I like the vegetarian as there’s 7 diff types of veggies! I mean, cauliflower & broccoli? That’s unheard of at other places!!!
Don’t forget the Wild Cheesy bread. While I still think Green Lantern will always win in Cheesy bread, this is pretty good. Ask for extra garlic butter too!
I love that the staff is so nice and you can see them making it in front of you. Even if it’s not 5/​5, just coming for their service and quality is worth it!

New favorite!!! Fresh, real ingredients… The square pizza with broccoli, cauliflower, and green pepper was a fun way to eat veggies! It is about 3 minutes from my home too, which doesn’t really affect you, but I sure am happy about it. This pizza was filling without making me feel guilty after 2 pieces. Support local pizza– especially here!!!

This place is awesome!
Everytime I order they tell me 45 minutes, which I think is what every pizza place tells everyone. It always comes in under 30.
And the food! Their «half» grinder is about as big as a sub from Subway or Jimmy Johns.
They are thorough and amazing. This is my favorite place that I order delivery from. Seriously, cannot reccomend this place more!

Pizza Connection is my standard place for take out pizza. The food, service, and price are all very good. Their delivery is prompt, their cheese is real, and their ingredients are fresh. The Hawaiian pizza is my absolute favorite, but I’ve never had a bad pie from them.
My only (tiny) gripe: upgrade and get the cheesy «wild» breaksticks, instead of the regular ones. The regular ones are bland.

Pizza Connection is our go-​to pizza place. After trying a bunch of other places and not having luck or consistency (Jet’s, I’m talking about you), we decided to try PC, which is a favorite of my wife’s family. I was really excited when I found out that you can get the spicy Italian sausage from the «Flamethrower» pizza as a regular topping, because the regular stuff can be boring. On top of that, they slice it rather than crumble (I’m not sure how I feel about that), which is different. PC always has consistently good pies with crisp crusts and has the right amount of sauce for my better half.
There are a few dozen pizza places that are closer and we drive here to get our pies, that’s a real compliment. Viva la Pizza Connection!

A good co-​worker friend of mine let me enjoy this tasty joint. He recently moved to HP, maybe 50 yards from this place. We walked over the other night after calling ahead, and they had a nice special on two larges, 2 toppings each for $ 16.
There toppings were fresh, and bountiful. No skimping here at all. One was mushroom and black olive. Great shrooms, and the black olives had some meat on them (not real meat, just a phrase). The thing was just utterly covered in the selected toppings. A thick cheese held it all together. Simple crust nothing fancy here. The other was pepperoni and sausage. mmmm. The sausage was of even consistency, and spread out to cover the pie. Did I say yumzor? Did now.
I look forward to the summer evening when my friend invites me over for a beer on his porch, and a walk down to the pizza connection.
PS. Look for the Dairy Park a few doors down for dessert ;).
