This place improved somewhat after receiving some resources from the Hao buffet. The food is better but there’s a noticeable lack of meat other than chicken.

If I had a choice I wouldn’t even rate this place one star. My family and myself went there this past Saturday. My daughter wouldn’t eat anything except for half a slice of watermelon. When it came time to leave we asked our server(girl who cleans the tables) for a container to take her watermelon home. She then told us that I had to pay for a whole other 3 year old meal for a box when all we wanted was to take home what was on her plate. We asked the manager about this and he claims that he saw my daughter eat the other food she had which never happened because he was never near our table. So I paid $ 4 for a child size soda and a half of a slice of a watermelon so safe to say we will never be back. Besides the fact that the food has gone to hell anyway. All of us left unsatisfied and still hungry and wasted $ 40.

I used to come here all the town when I had family living in this area. My most recent visit was probably my first one in at least 5 years, if not longer. It’s still very good. They have an enormous selection of chafing dishes as well as a Wok or Mongolian BBQ section. And, everything was good. Their sushi section is just OK. I have been to other places with larger and more varied selections. Service was efficient.

Not a bad buffet. Had 4 tables. Really good sushi not just the basics that most buffets have. Also had a Mongolian table. Food quality was good and also ended it with a soft serve ice cream machine. A little pricey for only a Wednesday night but was a nice place to eat overall.

I’ve been going here ever since me and my family moved to America over 18 years ago. I love it and the staff are super friendly. Sometimes I’ll go with my 5 month old son and while I’m getting my food, the staff will offer to help me so I’m not trying to juggle a plate of food in one hand and a baby in the other. I go weekly and i never had any problems so I don’t see what people are talking about. This isn’t supposed to be some over priced restaurant like Houlihan’s with dimmed lights. i love it.

Staff is rude and the food is limited also the sanitary requirements are not met. Who leaves spoons in top of handles where everyone’s hands touch?

The food here is absolutely delicious for a great price! The fried wontons are perfectly crisp, the seafood is so fresh, the egg drop soup was on point and the teriyaki chicken and veggies were excellent!!! Seriously great food!!!

To give it One-Star would be too much. This place has BUGS in the food. Just left because of it. GROSS!

Oh, goodness. If you want to talk about a restaurant that has gone downhill in the last few years, this China Buffet is the damn poster child. I don’t understand, but it just seems like the owners have given a negative amount of effort to this joint. The place is dirty, dingy, the carpets are gross, the booths come UP off of the floor, and the fabric used in the booths are just ripping at the seams. I also really dislike how the service station is smack dab in the middle of restaurant. I almost feel like the waiters stare at you while you’re eating. Silently judging you. Would I go there again? Only if I was really desperate to eat Chinese food in copious amounts(which is pretty rare). Owners, this place needs LOVE! Love it and people will come flocking back! It just screams, «I hate myself, so I’m going to go eat at the China Buffet» right now.

I don’t know why I keep going here, maybe I like playing gastro-roulette. If I compared it to every other Chinese buffet I have been to, this would be in the middle of the pack. If I compared it to a Chinese restaurant with made to order food, this would be dead last. They have a wide variety I’ll give them that, but the food is not even close to hot unless you get it right out of a fresh tray. I’m not sure how it passes health inspection when there is no way the hot trays are at or above 140 degrees. The best items are their noodles and sprint rolls. The worst items are those prepared with a breeding because the items sit so long the sauces cause the breeding to be soggy. Get there before noon so the food is fresher. If you are later, it won’t be. Yes, I will end up going again. Will I like it, probably not as much as I should but the Chinese place in Airport Plaza is being renovated so there are not too many choices right now.

Although I do prefer fresh cooked«gourmet» Chinese food, I will admit that once in a while I do stop at the china buffet. Some of the prior reviewers would have you believe that all of the food here is indelible, but that’s just not true. The key to eating here is knowing what to eat and when. When you take your initial walk around the buffet, it’s pretty easy to tell what has been freshly put out and what’s been sitting there for a while. If you take what’s fresh, you’ll find that some of the dishes can actually be decent. Its not rocket science. If something that you really want isn’t fresh, say something, and they will more than likely make you a small fresh portion. I know because they’ve done it for me. I usually go for dinner. I Enjoy the clams on the half shell, steamed snow crab legs, beef and chicken with broccoli, chicken wings, spare ribs and some of the veggie dishes. Again. only fresh. They also have the Mongolian BBQ where you pick your ingredients and they cook it right in front of you. If you went in for dinner and just ate snow crab legs, it would be worth the price you pay.

This is place is a disgust to the Chinese culture, people, and food. The waiters have the«I dont give a shit» attitude, never refilling drinks or clearing just standing around bantering at each other in their native tongue. The food selection is quite possibly not made for human consumption. The pans of food look like they have been under heat lamps for hours and the sushi has that lukewarm(I was made five hours ago) taste to it. Do yourself, your family and your friends a favor skip this joint unless you consciously seek out seedy buffets to get some type of food borne illness

I ate here at 9pm on a saturday night. The place was surprisingly busy at this hour, maybe 10 tables. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the odor and how hot it was. The place smells awful and i doubt they even out the AC on. We were promptly seated and gave our drink order. Went up to the buffet and found most pans with little or no food left in them. Some cheaper items were replenished but the more expensive items weren’t except for crab legs. When new food was brought out it was quickly devoured by the people standing around waiting for something. What i did eat was so-so. Very sweet or very salty. 5 hours later and i still can’t stop drinking water. I would avoid this place

This place is just plain bad. The only plus was that the food was hot. I tried just about everything they had to offer and I was surprised at how they managed to screw up even the safe picks. I had a mozzarella stick that tasted like cream cheese… first time I’ve ever had to spit one of those out. Slimy chicken, chewy beef, warm pudding, $ 15 wasted.

I have a hard time even writing about«buffets.» Unless you’re going to a buffet in the Borgata, or the Belagio in Vegas, the thought of eating Chinese food from a buffet should be enough to dissuade anyone. I do understand that there are some large families and budget is #1 priority, so I will review the\is place fairly. The food is not«good.» By not good I certainly mean edible and even some of the dishes are tasty, but if what you’re seeking is «good» Chinese food, coming to a buffet wouldn’t even be an option. For the price of entry, this place has enough offerings to appwal to anyone and everyone and they do serve very hot, somewhat fresh dishes.

My favorite Chinese Buffet in all of NJ. I don’t know about what the previous person is saying because I’ve eaten there dozens of times and never gotten even slightly sick. The quality of the food is very good, super tasty, not over cooked or left to sit for a long time. Even the crab legs are consistently meaty and non-fishy smelling when I decide to attack them… or fight the patrons for my weight in them!

Sorry Amanda, but I beg to differ. I actually helped some friends professionally clean the rugs one night at this place. We had access to the back kitchen cause the van was parked in the back, and let me tell you that they DONOT«freshly» prepare all their food. YUCK! I will never eat in that place again… So bad, I really don’t want to go into detail… Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but hopefully I’ll spare some people from any types of food poisoning. HAPPYFEASTING! Hee Hee

Very good Chinese buffet with a friendly, attentive staff. The food is always freshly prepared. The usual Chinese buffet fare.
