Interesting place right off Route 36 in Hazlet. My wife and I were looking for a liquor store to for a BYOB dinner and happened to come across this place. We don’t have places like this in Northern NJ. There is a full liquor store with a bar/restaurant attached in the back. I didn’t walk back to see what the bar was about but apparently they serve food, too. Otherwise, they had a pretty good selection and the prices were very reasonable. I was in and out which was a good thing, too. Overall, it’s a solid spot.

A local sports bar tucked behind a liquor store. The place is literally one room with a bar in the middle and TVs on the wall. It has a local bar feel with regulars streaming in and cashing out. The bar food is OK to forgettable. They have 5 or 6 taps.

New bar and grill that just opened about a month ago. The front of the bar is a liquor store. The square bar seats about 30 people and there maybe five or six tables around it. Lots of big screen tvs to catch any game you want. Friendly bartenders and reasonably priced drinks. They also serve pub grub. Nothing fancy. Wings, sandwiches, burgers, fries, etc. it’s a nice alternative to some of the other bars in the area.
