Description

Specialties

Copperfield’s Books is an independent bookseller located on the square in Healdsburg in a wonderful small store atmosphere where you can bask in the glory of great books, magazines, and gifts. Our booksellers are readers who delight in talking about books and helping you find what you need. We regularly host touring authors of art and literary books in our store. We are especially proud of our Copperfield’s Pairings events which include free author talks in our store followed by a reception and book signing at Bob Johnson Art Gallery, also on the square.

History

Established in 1981.

Copperfield’s Books started in 1981 in Sebastopol as the dream of Paul Jaffe and Barney Brown. Over the years, the store – fueled by a committed community of readers – expanded to include stores in Petaluma, Montgomery Village, Healdsburg, Calistoga, Napa, and most recently San Rafael. Copperfield’s Books works with publishers and authors to produce 500 author events at year, most of which are free. Copperfield’s Books last year added a new Rewards Program in which members get 10% off most purchases as well as invitations to special member events.

Meet the Manager

Kaitlin S.

Manager

Katie is a voracious reader and a genre jumper but gravitates towards historical fiction, food, and travel essays. And anything about Paris moves to the top of her list which is great since Healdsburg belongs to the Francophiles.
