Specialties
Our winemaking philosophy is grounded in Founder & President Judy Jordan’s sense of place and commitment to quality and expressed through J’s winemaking artistry. J Vineyards & Winery produces site-specific, cool-climate J Vineyards Russian River Valley Pinot Noirs, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, as well as the highly lauded J Vintage Brut, J Late-Disgorged Vintage Brut, J Brut Rosé Non-Vintage and J Cuvée 20 Brut Non-Vintage. Considered a pioneer in Sonoma County for the enhanced Visitor Center experience, the winery offers award-winning varietal and sparkling wines at its Signature Bar as well as sumptuous food and wine pairings in the Bubble Room paired to perfection by the J Culinary Team.
Our varietal & sparkling wines evoke the intriguing character of this unique part of the world – where hip energy meets relaxed Russian River Valley style and contemporary elegance meets classic quality.
History
Established in 1986.
J Vineyards & Winery’s winemaking philosophy is grounded in Founder & President Judy Jordan’s sense of place and commitment to quality. Located at 11 447 Old Redwood Highway in Healdsburg, in the heart of the Russian River Valley, what began as a small méthode champenoise sparkling wine project at her father Tom Jordan’s winery in the Alexander Valley in 1986 has today become a model for Russian River Valley artistry in both varietal and sparkling wines.
Meet the Business Owner
Judy J.
Business Owner
Founder & President of J Vineyards & Winery, second generation vintner, chose to honor her family’s heritage with a courageous and different path. Respecting her family and the Jordan Winery, Judy decided as a young woman to build her own brand and winery.
More than twenty years later, Judy has succeeded at building a world-renowned reputation for her signature J Vintage Brut. Part of Judy’s ongoing vision for the future is to enhance J Vineyards’ magnificent Russian River Estate Pinot Noirs, Chardonnay & Pinot Gris.
In 1996, she purchased the former Piper Sonoma winemaking facility in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Judy was one of the first, if not the first, to pioneer wine country’s elegant food and wine experience for visitors.
