Even all our guests noticed Lucine Smith for being so very efficient and effective as wedding coordinator. She worked so hard on and before our wedding day. Very accommodating in adopting on our plans changes and she have lots of suggestions that you would be happy with, this is the reflexion that she have broad experience with wedding business. We were very satisfied with her service, we highly recommend her.

Randi catered our wedding at Vine Hill House and the food and service were amazing! She came highly recommended from a friend who had Randi cater her wedding almost 10 years ago. I loved working with Randi because she made everything so easy. She was able to come to our final site visit which was a huge help to get her opinion on how to make everything flow nicely and the day went wonderfully. We had a ton of people comment on how great the food was including my mom who said it was one of the best meals she has had at a wedding (and she has been to a million weddings!) We had a buffet which worked out well and the table display was beautiful — just the bountiful rustic theme I was hoping for. Her and her staff were wonderful the day of as well. Best of all, I searched high and low for a caterer who didn’t charge a fortune and Randi was the only one who worked with us to actually get within our budget. I highly recommend Oui Cater!

How often do you go to a wedding where every piece of beef tenderloin is cooked perfectly to a medium rare? Well, Randi managed to do it. Our experience with Randi was fabulous for our wedding of 150.
In planning, she had helpful recommendations and suggestions about all the fine details that no bride really wants to think about, such as whether a white tablecloth would make the bride’s ivory dress look yellow in photos. Overall, Randi made the planning simple and easy.
Execution the day of was excellent. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We received many compliments from guests that it was the best wedding food that they ever had. There were a few executions details: some of the salt shakers weren’t filled and they ran out of coffee cups and had tea but no hot water for it. Nonetheless, we still highly recommend Randi. She did a great job and is a fantastic caterer.

Randi and Oui Cater worked really hard to win our business — but once they had our deposit check that’s where the «honeymoon» ended. After all the impressing they did to win our business when the big day came it was very disappointing and pretty embarrassing.
First strike: They served the parents LAST. Out of 125 people and 14 tables, that is a long time to wait.
Second strike: They let people change their pre-​selected meal choice right before dinner. Which leads to the…
Third Strike: The portions were Teeny Tiny. Apparently they ran out of certain items and had to start cutting portions in half. We had 5 people who were no-​shows, so they should have even had extra food available from that. We had guests who were STARVING after dinner. So embarrassing and extremely disappointing.
My MILs, who paid for the food, were trying to get some of their money back for this travesty and get them off the «Preferred» list at Paradise Ridge Winery.
I will say that, as the Bride and Groom, the service from the day-​of staff was phenomenal. We have both done catering for extra money and know how difficult weddings can be.
Oui Cater’s food is good, but they definitely didn’t deliver for us when it mattered. I cannot recommend them to anyone.

She is a warm and amazing person who was a joy to work with. From the beginning when she invited us into her home for a tasting to the day of the wedding when she came out to wish me luck, she was completely wonderful. She is professional, talented, and easy to work with. Her food is delicious and she is happy to make changes to food selections to make your menu perfect. Multiple complements from everyone at the wedding. She took care of linens and set up/​breakdown as well. No headaches with Randi at the helm. She was especially helpful as we were planning our wedding from the east coast. She provided great suggestions that were all in our best interest. Her pricing is very reasonable. Loved her so much that we gave her our table runners after the wedding! I wish Randi nothing but the best and I will definitely be sending people her way in the future!

I had interviewed 3 other caters to cater my wedding on 6÷23÷12 a total of four including Oui Catering.
I did not think it was going to be so hard to make the decision. After interviewing Randi I knew I wanted her and her team to cater my wedding. From the moment I spoke to Randi she gave me suggestions on menu selections, and how she would accommodate my 150 guests. Randi is very professional she always returned all my emails.
Once the ceremony was over one of the staff members was down stairs while we were taking photos with appetizers for us, she told she wanted us to try the appetizers since we would be taking photos after and not be around for the cocktail hour.
The food presentation was amazing! All of our guests did not have to wait so long to get to the buffet!
My guests can’t stop talking about the food!
We served Tri-​Tip, Chicken Piccata, Roasted New Potatoes, Sonoma Salad & Romaine Salad with bay Shrimp.
I did my research on every cater! Save yourself sometime and go with Oui Catering!

Great spead of all sorts at my wedding experience — garlic roasted tri-​tip, Greek chicken, white chocolate dipped strawberries… What more could you want?!

randi is phenomenal! she catered my wife and my wedding a week ago and it went off without a hitch. we did a tasting at her house earlier this year and were surprised at how good the food is, since wedding food is typically pretty bland. but we ate some delicious food, and she was even open to our ideas of appetizers that weren’t on her menu. and they turned out delicious! what i liked best was that she was available to talk on the phone as we got closer to the wedding date. she handled our linens for us and supplied enough meals for the vendors before we got around to thinking about it. one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and at a very competitive price! highly, highly recommended.

My husband and I used Oui caterer for our wedding at Trentadue winery and our rehearsal dinner as well.
Randi is very friendly, smart, and easy to work with on a personal level. She has great ideas, and can add to what you have created in your mind.
Her food is wonderful, flavorful and she has a great menu to choose from.
What I found helpful was she is local, has connections and could help me with more than just the food. She was willing to give advice on other vendors and give me ideas.
She is great about responding to by email or phone.
Overall if you want good service, food and communication choose oui!

We had our wedding on 10÷10÷10 and were so glad we had Randi and Oui Caters her team with us. Everything was perfect… actually it was impeccable! I’d to give bonus stars and badges and whatever other Unilocal fancies if it was possible.
The experience: Randi is incredibly experienced and knowledgeable, always professional yet personable. She actually made our entire wedding planning process easy and enjoyable — and that goes beyond just food and beverages, but she also gave us great advice on everything from schedules, logistics, photos, seating, settings, rentals, and the list goes on! We were especially happy to see that Randi was hands-​on at our event and making sure that everything went along just perfect.
The food and drinks: WOW. Wow wow wow WOW, food was incredible! The tasting was superb (as most tastings are), but it wasn’t overdone and manufactured — Randi was literally pulling out courses out of the oven when we arrived and got seated. I have no idea how she scaled the same quality and freshness to an entire wedding buffet, but that’s why she’s the best in the business! Everyone single one of our guests complimented the delicious food, and the quality and selection simply blew our foodie minds. It’s pretty hard to please 75 hungry bellies to a backdrop of a perfect day outdoors, but Randi and her team sure made it look easy. I’ve never been to a wedding where the entire party was so delighted with the meal — until ours! We’re so lucky, and Randi was the bomb.
The cost: Straight forward, no hassle, lots of options and all very reasonable to make everything work to our and our guests’ needs. Working with Randi was actually quite a bargain when we consider how much more value she added to the read of the wedding planning and execution.
Our recommendation: Save your time, you won’t find anyone else better than Randi and Oui Caters!

Randi is awesome! Her food is delicious! Her presentation is beautiful! Her staff is professional! My catering experience with Oui was 100% positive! (As you may have guessed from all of the exclamation points.)
Randi was such a pleasure to work with; she’s a wealth of knowledge. She’s been catering events for a long time and knows everything anyone could ever think to ask about them. She’s also very down to earth and cost conscious. I think she does super fancy style catering, but we just wanted great food and someone who is easy to work with, who would not try to talk us into a bunch of stuff we didn’t need or want for our wedding. Randi perfectly fit that description.
Another great thing about Randi is that she’s very responsive and never made me feel like I was being a nuisance when I’d call and ask her questions in the weeks leading up to the wedding. And did I mention that her food was outstanding and everyone loved it? Well, it’s true.
Conclusion: If you’re looking for someone who makes REALLY great food that everyone will love, who is super easy to work with, look no further!

Randy with Oui Cater was great! The food was great and so was the service. We didn’t have any complaints at all. She did both our rehearsal dinner (Mexican Buffet) and sit down dinner for our wedding.

I would recommend Randi to ANYONE planning a wedding, special event, bar-​b-​q, company picnic or and other event that requires catering. She just catered our wedding at an outdoor venue in Healdsburg, and I have to say there was not a second that I doubted our decision to use her. From the moment she opened the door to her house to invite us in for a tasting (yes, she did it in her own house), I felt at ease with her. She is lovely, accommodating and understanding. I knew we were in good hands when I took the first bite of the awesome Manicotti she made us. She has impeccable presentation skills and we got so many comments on how good the food was that I lost count. She offers a variety of choices for her buffet dinner, and everything was so good! On top of all that, she worked with our rental company to ensure we had everything buttoned up on that front, and I knew that with her on our side our wedding would go off without a hitch. I really can’t gush anymore about her… all I can say is «Use Randi at Oui Cater… you won’t be sorry you did!»

First off, she works in a team with her partner Randall. I don’t know if they are married or siblings, but either way Randi and Randall Kauppi are pretty rad. The first rule of running a successful business is to have a partner who shares almost the exact same name as you. I know this from my professional experience working with Mario C.
Randi was the nicest woman ever on the phone. She was super attentive, accommodating, and didn’t even get mad when I changed my mind/​date/​time/​location/​number of guests/​menu/​identity/​underpants. She was sure to check up on the whole process and coordinated a rental BBQ and some tables. And for all this exceptional service (and exceptional food), her final price was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than most of her competitors. As in, wow, are you sure I paid for all this? She even let the kids eat for ½ price!
Also, because of a locked-​gate-​miscommunication, the rental company was unable to retrieve their equipment for three days after our company BBQ. This was really our fault, however Randi took care of it personally by driving out to the middle of nowhere and RETURNING THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT HERSELF. And she didn’t even yell at me afterward. What a swell gal.
As for the food, everyone was really impressed. It was quite a spread, to be sure. We’re talking perfectly cooked tri-​tip, barbecued chicken, and grilled salmon served with an array of veggies, salads, assorted cheeses, bread, fruit, asparagus, and dips. I was kinda scared that the quality may not be top notch since she was so much less expensive than the other Healdsburg caterers (there were no Unilocal reviews at the time), however everything was delicious. It was perfect.
I would recommend OuiCater to anyone and their mother. Randi and Randall made our event a complete success!

Randi at Oui Caters went above and beyond the call of duty in providing not only delicious food, but excellent customer service in the months leading up to our wedding. Oui provided fabulous props and linens for displaying the food, flexibility with our food choices and very tasty locally grown fruits, vegetables and meats for our ‘green’ wedding. Oui excelled delivering a phenomenal meal in a short amount of time in a venue they had no experience with. The wine country food presentation was gorgeous! Her staff was very courteous, her prices very reasonable and we couldn’t be happier! We highly recommend Oui Caters.
