It’s a must for me if I am within 20 miles. Amazing seafood, farm to table salads and appetizers and just really good creative food. If you look up any of their restaurants and are close by I recommend you try them. Only been to the Healdsburg restaurant but would love to try the other ones.

I waited for nearly 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged by the waiter or have my order taken. Unfortunately, I even watched the waiter in my area serve the table directly next to me and take their order, despite me waiting for 10 minutes longer than them. I still received no service. Customer service was non-existent for me.

This is mostly a small plates type place where you’ll share with others at your table and/or get 2 – 3 plates to truly fill up. It’s a great way to taste many things. First, salad… get the Spinach Salad with goat cheese, cracked almonds and warm bacon dressing. WOW! I could have had two of those! Next up, I also tried the minted lamb and it was so delicious and delicate. The mint is subtle, the lamb is so tender. Just amazing. Wonderful wine list. Awesome waitress that I wish I remembered her name. Sit outside if you can!

Came here with a friend and decided to order the tuna tartar, bacon with scallops and the lobster roll and they were all delish. Not this place is more of a tapas place so if ur ok with smaller portions they ur good. They have a wide range of things to try and the service was great. I would come back for sure.

Came here for lunch because of a recommendation from a friend and the great Unilocal reviews. I was not disappointed I enjoyed everything we ate the food looked and tasted great I will definitely be back next time I’m in town. As for the food the calamari with the orange chili sauce was excellent. I also really like the lobster roll it was real buttery but excellent. The scallops were cooked perfectly wrapped in bacon. Overall the food was perfect

We came for a lunch date on memorial day, and given we didn’t have a reservation a 30 minute wait for a patio table was no big deal. We loved everything we ordered to eat. My favorite was was the kobe beef, my hubby’s was the crab cakes. Our one«regret» was the kale Ceasar just because it was so ordinary compared to the rest of the dishes. But it was fresh and perfect for a salad order! I look forward to going back for a dinner date so I can try the cocktail menu!

Willi’s is a great option for eating in Healdsburg. It’s certainly pricey, but the food is well prepared and the service is good even when it gets busy. We usually sit at the bar so the wait hasn’t been an issue(although it can get long at peak times). They had many items available for gluten free eating. It’s a newly required for me so anywhere that has online menus makes my life easier. The server also checked on items I had questions about and was very helpful. Great place for that if you need it!

Prices have gone up and portion sizes have gone down. Quality of the food is not consistent and definitely not worth the prices. If you’re going to go, stick to the oysters and raw bar, which are a better value. Got a few oysters, the calamari, trout rillettes, sole and mushrooms. The calamari was pretty pitiful – about half the portion size as shown in previous photos. Trout was tasty, as were the mushrooms. The sole dish was awful, just stay far away from that dish. The cocktail I ordered was, again, just eh. It was hit or miss. Lunch for two at $ 75, it just wasn’t good enough.

I love this place, the food and everything! But unfortunately had an awful experience Made reservations for my husband’s birthday we sat there and waited 2 ½ hours before any tables available even though the whole front of the restaurant was empty we were urge to go to the bar and wait for a table. After realizing we had waited that long and our party started getting upset that we were still waiting I asked why we have not been seated yet I think they forgot us there was no apology, accommodations and no discount on our bill we spent over $ 500 that night and it would’ve been nice for an apology or some kind of credit unfortunately I don’t know if I’ll go back the hostess definitely need some more training on her people skills she wasn’t friendly she was rude and made us feel stupid for asking for her table

I’m dropping my star rating b/c it seems Willi’s is faltering in the customer relations department. Booked a reservation for 3 on Mother’s Day, then called back to add 2 more. The original time was not available for 5 people, so I took the next available time that was suggested to me. When we arrived, the hostess told us that our table would be crowded. I asked why, and she said it was because I changed my reservation. I said, «That doesn’t make any sense, because I changed it to a time YOU suggested.» She was anything but sympathetic. We were seated at the last booth upstairs, with a chair in the aisle, and we continued to watch them fail other patrons by trying to seat 3 at what was clearly a table for 2. We overheard a group of 4 or 5 say«We made these reservations MONTHS ago!» What’s going on here, Willi’s?! Getting in the game of overbooking and then poo-pooing on your upset customers? Why are you ok with having upset customers? And when are you going to train your hostesses how to better work with people? I think I’ve had my last meal here. Of course, it won’t make a difference to Willi’s in the long run b/c there will always be tourist business. But man… it’s too bad.

Went here on a Friday night around 7pm. We had no reservation so we put our name down and they estimated 30 minutes for the wait. They took down my phone number and said they would text when the table was ready. We went for a walk and about 15 minutes later we received a text that the table was ready. We were seated outside. Started out with drinks and oysters. I had The Sprung Strawberry and a Pineapple drop and it was delicious. We shared the Warm Maine Lobster Soft Roll, Pan Roasted Shrimp and the Hanger Steak. All were tasty. Wouldn’t order the lobster roll again due to the lobster being really tough and chewy. Everything else was on point. To finish we shared the Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread Pudding. Food was great. Service was ok. We had to grab the attention of our server a couple times. Would come back again.

This is my second visit and I truly enjoyed my meal. The wait staff was very accommodating and gave us great service. Our tapas all came out on a timely basis and were very tasty. The bottle of wine pairing was great with our meal and was suggested by our waitress. Loved the warm spinach salad with goat cheese and bacon. I will definitely return for another meal.

Willi’s is back on my go-to-list-when-visiting-Healdsburg. The last time I was here, I brought my brother(a chef, who travels the world, and eats for a living). The food and the service was subpar. Tonight we came with the family after spending a long day at the pool. We were hungry. Despite it being a Monday night, the restaurant was pretty full. Our server was great! She made wonderful selections on the food, wine, and cocktails. We ordered: BBQ oysters(fresh and tasty), little neck clam steamers(beer butter broth was perfect!), «fish & chips»(broiled fresh halibut, fried yucca), all the buns(lobster, pork belly, Monk fish on rolls), and of course, Caramelized banana split(still so good from the 1st time we had it). My favorite part of the night was my pineapple drop. Every sip and lick of the glass was perfectly balanced with just enough sweetness and alcohol. Kuddos to the bartender! It was a nice night to dine outside. The staff was great, from the hostess to water boy to server. Thanks for making our last night of our Sonoma trip at Healdsburg so memorable. Well be back again!

March 28, 2016 Monday — 1:45PM for late lunch 4 adults Atmosphere — 4 stars Food — 4 stars Service — 5 stars Background — An oyster craving had to be met. Atmosphere — We sat out on the outside on their tiny patio. It was a chili afternoon but the space heaters were out in force. The patio is on the main street of Healdsburg and the street traffic can get annoying at times. Food Drink — Anchor Steam Ale Lunch — Tapas tapas and more tapas. So lots of little plates. Some I enjoyed more than others. The item that I enjoyed the most was the cheese fondue. This at the 1970’s pot of bubbling goo. It was a small iron skillet with melting cheese, some meat crumbled on top with some other items. No bread to dip with but Frito Lays to scoop. Perhaps if they had made their own food item to put the fondue on it could have taken it to another level. Service — Our waiter was friendly and knowledge. The food comes out when the kitchen completes it. This good so the table can have items removed before more food arrives. Future — Yes.

Never a bad meal here! The garlic bread with creamy butter is a must! The spinach salad with the huge chunks of bacon & feta cheese is my all time favorite. The fish tacos! Bacon wrapped scallops! We eat here at least once a month because it’s fun, we can watch the game in the bar area or sit on the patio with the heaters. It is always busy so get there early!

Plain Nothing special Food did not have much taste. I tried pretty much everything. Oysters were good but then again you don’t cook them. Just have to make sure they are fresh. I would not go back. Also the wine we weak.

Another regular Hbg haunt for us. We almost always sit at the bar and have some oysters and a cocktail, maybe something a little bit more. All of the food is top shelf and the cocktails are amazing. Do yourself a favor, order a «real» cocktail, not just a Jack and Coke or plain Gin and Tonic, the bartenders here are truly amazing, let them show off what they can do.

Loved everything(except maybe the brussel sprouts). We ordered: — hamachi ceviche(came with taro chips and lots of) — clam steamers(came in a delicious cioppino like broth) — sourdough(our server recommended that we get the bread to dip in the steamer’s broth. It was great. We inhaled that sourdough in no time.) — BBQ mussels(first time trying this, it was smoky and delicious) — brussel sprouts(entirely covered in butter or oil, so probably any potential health benefit is out the window) — lobster on a bun(a very buttery and tasty lobster roll. Even the bread itself was perfection)

O.M.G!!! So glad we chose this spot for my birthday lunch. It was out of this world delicious. The steamed clams and sour dough bread started the meal and we finished with the pan fried shrimp and almond crusted sole. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this gem. It was the best meal we have had in a long time. We plan to come back real soon. The staff was so nice and welcoming. Do not miss out on this spot. It will not disappoint. Thank you Willis for making my birthday special.

The food here is solid, but this is place is best for groups who want to SHARE their dishes. Everytime I’ve been here, the food just comes out in a random fashion, which is great for groups that like to pass dishes around. The last time I went, there were 3 of us and we each ordered 2 items without the intention on sharing. After 5 of the 6 items came out, our server asked, «Are you ready for dessert?» I had to point out that I was still waiting for my second dish. It was just plain awkward because my two friends were DONE with their meal(and their drinks) and ready to jet. So, my second dish came out and there I was eating my food while the table was being cleared. Food is good(bonus for allergen menu), but service is seriously lacking.

It is too late to eat lunch and too early to eat dinner. I’m glad Willi’s Seafood is open to feed our hunger self. Order half a dozen of oysters and some cocktails to quench our thirst. Light bites of fish tacos and ceviche is the right amount of snack to hold us over until dinner. This location is perfect in the heart of downtown Healdsburg. Also, many cool places to check out as well. All in all, I like our quick bite at this place and the friendly staff. Cheers!

So overpriced! We had the lobster roll which had about 5 small pieces of lobster in it. The fish tacos were supposed to be three on a plate, but it was one fish soft taco cut into 3! We left after we had a taste of six dishes and weren’t even slightly satisfied. We went down the street to Sake O and got delicious sushi at inexpensive prices. I recommend Willi’s if you want raw oysters as they are hard to find or are trying to impress your date by spending a lot of money.

By far one of the best meals that I have ever had. The name does not do it justice. It came highly recommended by a lot of locals and now I know why. I am so happy that I made a reservation even on aWednesday night. The place was packed and had a wait. We got to sit at a large table by the window which allowed for people watching. I’m not sure how much seating was in the back, but the place did not seem to be huge. The food was small plates. We literally ordered everyone. Oh and they had skewers too. The cucumber salad was amazing so was the shrimp oh and the calamari and the bread and EVERYTHING! We left with happy bellies. I have passed the recommendation on to others who have thanked me too. Delicious delicious food. Great staff. Wonderful atmosphere.

Willi’s is a great place to go and share multiple different small plates with your spouse or a group of friends. All food is delicious and the staff is very attentive. They did a great job of leaving mayonnaise off of the plates that we requested! We tried the crab cake, lobster roll, and fish tacos. All were excellent. For the first time in a long time we actually just had water with our meal as we had been drinking wine all day. Its amazing how cheap a meal is when you don’t have any alcohol!

Me to boyfriend: «What would you rate Willi’s Seafood & Raw Bar?» Boyfriend: «Where?» Me: «…guess that answers that question! Three stars it is.» We ordered a bunch of appetizers, and two stood out. a) The sourdough bread with garlic butter. OH. MY. GOD. This was the PERFECT hot sourdough bread, with a perfect crust, and perfect insides, and perfect garlicky butter. I could have eaten about four of those on my own. b) The steamed buns with the pork belly. This was just memorable enough for me to remember having loved it. Everything else was a-ok. I mean, the comparison with the sourdough bread is hard. How do you follow an act like that? Even the dessert was just okay — I just wanted more bread! And I still do. Forever.

Was in town for the day and asked for some advice on where to have dinner. Heard from two different people to try Willi’s. So we decided to give it a try. We were there pretty early for dinner so it wasn’t too crowded and we got a table on the patio right away. We ordered a few meat skewers, a few martinis, and the fish and chips. The service was pretty slow and not that friendly. When the dishes arrived we discovered the true meaning of «small plates». The food was just ok and the portions very very small. We wound up spending over $ 90 for 2 people and left feeling hungry. I would say the best part of the meal was the sourdough bread. And thank god for that because it kept us full. The ambiance is decent and it is centrally located but that is about it. I think it is overpriced and the portions are tiny. The service was slow and not very friendly. I would recommend going somewhere else.

Came here for lunch today with my fiancé for his birthday. Hostess was pleasant and warm. I really appreciate when you are warmly welcomed in a restaurant. Outdoor seating was a 10-min wait and well worth it. Really lovely and well situated so you didn’t feel piled on top of each other or uncomfortable close. We couldn’t hear another table’s conversation. Server(Jenn) was really great. Good recommendations for wine and food. And a relaxed, attentive manner I really appreciated. The sourdough bread was off the hook: extremely soft with a good bite of sourdough tang. They get it from the bakery close by fresh each day. It’s divine. Scallops with cilantro pesto and pumpkin seeds. With a side of slaw. Great favors, scallops were seared perfectly. Crunchy crust and just heated through. Melt in your mouth: Thai style calamari is delicious and a new twist on the usual. Oysters are pricey. Over $ 37.00 a dozen. But they were some of the sweetest, least briney I have ever had. Lobster roll was drenched in butter — like a full ¼ of butter in the bottom of the dish. I would ask for less next time because the lobster, the bread and the sauce were delightful by themselves. Highly recommend this place!

The seafood here is SOGOOD. Came here after a long day of wine tasting with That Guy I Married. We got the ‘Steamers’- the king crab legs and the mussels. So tasty and well done. It came with a big roll of sourdough bread. the steamers were so good that we ordered another round of both. Maybe too much seafood, but it was worth it. We also ordered some of their speciality cocktails. I got the Blue Mule, which is a take on a moscow mule. Really good! The service and ambiance was great too. Very good date spot with lots of people watching and mood lighting. It also had a small town feel with all the locals at the bar. Overall a great experience!

Grandiose, fulfilling & satisfying lunch as it comes! Pretty much went to town and tasted oysters, lobster & prawns. The highlight was the Uni & Dungeness Crab Orzotto. An outstanding place indeed! I applaud my girlfriend for taking us ladies here for an evening of tasty drinks and superb eatables. The service we received was wonderful. We all got our food and beverages within a reasonable timeframe and all of us were happy. The food was beyond amazing! Everything was fresh, of good quality, and prepared so well. I can’t wait to come back! A few items I had were: Minted Lamb Lobster Roll Hamachi Ceviche

A must try in Healdsburg! Try the steamed clams and order the bread with it, an amazing dish. Also, try the Kobe Beef crudo, a savory appetizer that’ll melt in your mouth & your stomach will say, «Thank you» in 45 different languages. Service is attentive and classy, you are treated like Pete Sampras. This place has fried clam chowder balls… nuff said. *sound of dropping microphone *
