— Newborn portraits that capture your baby’s first fleeting days — the tiny wrinkles, the sweet curled-up legs, the soft hair… all the details.

— Senior portraits that focus on you and your personality. No cheesy props or boring backdrops here!

Mischief and Laughs Photography is an on-location portrait artist focusing on families and children, from birth to graduation.

History

Established in 2010.

Mischief and Laughs Photography began years before the actual establishment as a business — It began with art. I was first an artist, trained in fine arts, with a degree in Graphic Design. I also had quite a few photography classes during my formal schooling, but it wasn’t until after having my children that I realized that my true passion is capturing the moments in the life of a family. The passion for photography simply exploded, and after not seeing many studios who could capture my children exactly how I see them, I set about to create a photography studio founded on honesty — I wanted to capture the realness and love of family. This passion for fun and honest art is what drives Mischief and Laughs Photography.

Business Owner

Hi! I’m Cara. I want to put truly personal art on your walls. Crazy-beautiful, make your guests gasp, make you well up in tears every time you walk into your living room art. Art that features YOU.

I am a Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area photographer specializing in Newborn, Child, Family, and Senior portraits. My style is fun, fresh, and candid — I try to bring fresh ideas to every session. I am not the portrait-place-down-the-road, where everyone’s pictures look the same. I strive to capture my clients’ personalities, their quirks, their souls.

When I don’t have a camera stuck to my face, I’m usually on an adventure with my three young kids, browsing Pinterest, or avoiding housework. I sometimes find time to paint, although not as often as I’d like. Mostly though, I’m playing with/snuggling/tickling the kiddos.
