Dr. Fielat M.

Business Owner

Dr. Mahamud Abdul-​Fielat received his DDS degree from the University of Jordan in 1990and his Specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital in 1996.

His residency at the Children’s Hospital included treatment of handicapped children, and children with various systemic diseaes, under oral sedation, I.V. sedation, and general anesthesia.

Dr. Fielats treatment philosophy is to provide a pleasant and enjoyable experience for the child, with a focus on preventative dentistry. Our operatories and office have been specifically designed with this in mind. With the use of state-​of-​the-​art technology and the most advanced equipment such as air abrasion (drill-​less dentistry) we aim to provide the best environment possible for all our little patients.

Do not take your kids here!!! The office is dirty, the staff is rude. they got angry because I did not want to sedate my child. They got annoyed because I was asking questions, then they assured me that sedation is 100% safe, and no one has ever had a reaction in the history of dental work. LIARS!

I brought my 20 month old for her first visit to the dentist and I couldn’t be happier with this office. My daughter cried of course but the staff was really nice and the doctor explained everything to me. I will be back in 6 months!

DO NOT​.PLEASE​.DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE! I ended up taking my son to the owner Dr Fielat. way better office, staff, and results (maybe because I came here and, honestly, they traumatized my two year old.. In my opinion, tortured him) and the worst, horrific results! I then took my son to Dr Fielat to the owner. He re-​did everything and found two lil surface cavities to fix on back molars.. Only one week after! Also, my son was put to sleep.. Hard decision, but I couldn’t put him thru that again with just sedation. (This office doesn’t even clean the teeth when they’re done, probably why most come back with abscess. And they were supposed to give the oral rinse for you to put on gums w/​q-​tip .called Peridex! They didn’t! Ugh! Makes me sick to even think of them

Can’t give zero stars… But I took my kids and my son was «sedated» I don’t think he was numb enough. I understand they strap them in so they won’t move but I don’t agree 100% with it. My son was yelling and saying it hurt. I told the doctor it was hurting him and he said he has been doing his job for over 20 years he knew what he was doing and that my son was numb enough and it wasn’t hurting! I’m not too sure about that. A mother knows her kids I don’t believe my son was numb enough. Now he has access above one tooth.

Every single tooth these people touched in my daughter’s mouth developed an abscess!
My three year old with a little toothache. Became my four year old who has to tell almost everyone who meets her that her tooth didn’t fall out early. The dentist took it. And now they are going to have to take out the molars. Every single tooth.
Could be a coincidence. But after seeing these other reviews that’s pretty hard to believe. My poor little girl. All her molars!!!
These people not only traumatized both of us, they also ruined my little girls mouth.

I don’t understand how this office can still be in business. I am one of the lucky ones who walked out of this place, I hope after reading the reviews you will never take your children here. When my adopted daughters were first placed with me through foster care I was told that my 3 year old had an appointment for 9 fillings! I complied and took her to the appointment. I immediately had a poor feeling that this was legitimate and asked to see her ex — rays. The receptionist went to discuss my request with someone else and came back saying she only needed three fillings, but still wouldn’t show me the ex — ray. They started getting all rude and argumentative with me and I’m not even a confrontational person. That was my cue to leave. After our adoption was final and she was added to our insurance we took her to our regular dentist, NO CAVITIES! !!! I wasn’t surprised. This is Medi-​Cal fraud at it’s finest. Please go somewhere else!

It has been brought to my attention that a child was slapped and restrained because she was crying during a procedure on Friday at your facility. It was bad enough that the parent called the police and made a police report. If it were up to me you wouldn’t own a business any longer and while I can’t just close your doors and ensure you spend the rest of your life in prison for even hiring someone that would do that to a child I will do everything in my power to makes sure no one brings you business. As a business that provides a service that caters to children you should be doing everything in your power to ensure they are comfortable, you failed! The honorable thing to do is close your doors for good. If it was possible for me to give negative stars i absolutely would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE and read the reviews that aren’t recommended. I just heard of someone’s kid, 5 yrs old, getting smacked in the face and handled roughly by a dental assistant there! They also told the parent she couldn’t go back with her kid. you can’t trust everything you hear, but be cautious anyway! Especially with your kids!

Horrible! My child is traumatized. They sedated him & after almost 3 hors they finally bean to work on him. I wasnt allowed back there at all, They had him strapped down so tight they left marks, his ears were red from how tight they squeezed his head & they put a big cap. He cant even bite down all the way now because the cap gets in the way. They had about a dozen kids laying around the lobby all sedated feeling horrible. There was no were to sit, stand or walk from all these kids waiting there. My son told me his experince back there, & it is not cool. He said «the doctor was very nice, I liked him. But the nurses were very mean, they kept yelling at me.» He also heard when the nurse told the doctor there was no more caps his size, but he said that was fine just give him whatever they had. I cant believe how rude & unprofessional these people are. I think the kids dont even need work done, they just want to bill your insurance or medical to get $$$$ money

Don’t bring your kids here. My daughter is a huge softy and I wanted her sedated. The nurse forgot to write it down so they had to give her the shots which she cried and screamed out loud while they where doing it. So they STRAPPED HER DOWN. Poor baby is traumatized now. They do not care about the patients and if they traumatize them or not. We had to take her to another dentist because her caps where not taking and caused a serious infection. They charged me for things my insurance covered as well. And they are always packed but don’t ask when you will be seen because there is a sign that says «wait time may be longer than normal because of the patients needs.» They should not be booking so many patients to be seen around the same time they need to book them with time caps in between in case one patients needs more time. Would not trust these people and I blame myself for letting them continue work on my daughter after they numbed her.

I had been taking my kids here for quite some time and it was okay. My last 4 or so times we have waited 1 – 2 hours before even being called back… on one occasion we left after 2 hours because we still had not been called back. This office has become extremely inefficient. The girls at the front desk are not polite and even got rude when I left after 2 hours because we hadn’t been called back. They said I needed to schedule an earlier appointment… really…what’s the point of scheduling an appointment if your waiting 2 hours still. Anyway, we found a new dentist know and are extremely glad we switched.

My regular dentist referred my son here due to tooth decay when he was 4. The dentist was worried about five teeth and whether any of them needed a root canal.
After viewing the x-​rays, the dentist told me straight-​faced that he needed SEVEN root canals and that they would perform them all on one day.
I went back to my dentist for a second opinion. Long story short, we go to Dr. Nichols in Redlands now. Dr. Nichols performed 5 fillings after our initial consult, and never works on more than one part of the mouth at a time (upper left, lower right). It takes longer, but this means your child won’t chew up his/​her tongue because of all the numbing. It has been almost two years, and my son has seven fillings, NO ROOT CANALS! His last visit was a week ago, and he had no problems.
Don’t be fooled! I feel that these people were only out to make money off of my child’s pain. I have to drive farther, but I know my child is in good hands.
