Hemet Dental Group and Orthodontics

They are a huge scam, they try to make u get a deap cleaning with low pockets they have charges with codes like 0000 so no insurance code just extra $$for no reason staff cant even eplain what charges are for. I went to get my teeth bleached and the lady did not give me proper instructions to mix 2 different tubes together so my teeth didn’t even get white. They have a sign shows 299 ended up paying ove 900. And the results where horrible money just wasted disappointed. Sad because the front lady so nice but wrost dentist ever next to western detal Don’t do it.

Best time at a dental office. From start to finish every member of the staff was friendly and cared about me as a person, not just another patient. I will be returning here for anything else I may need in the future. This is my new home for dental care.

Ripoff!!! 1 star because they’re super expensive. Go elsewhere for the same type of care. Staff was good, services were good but darn nearly had to pay with an arm and leg. One white filling, whatever they’re called, cost $ 150!!! My new dentist charged me $ 43.

This place is a business. That’s what they are, and «profit» is their focus; not customer satisfaction. They will add things on, and if you question it, they moralize you and act like you do not care about your teeth.
My insurance covered a root canal at $ 425, and they added some liquid that is supposed to make the root canal «not fail»; it was $ 100 extra. Well, the tooth that they did the root canal on is cracked, and it still hurts. I will never go back to them again.
The dentist that took care of me seemed like he was laughing at me from behind his smile; typical conservative supply-​side economic attitude: The supplier is who is important; «not» the consumer.
The hygienist recommended for me to have my teeth cleaned every four months; when she told me this, she was patronizing and tried to give me a guilt trip as if this is what I need because I am not taking care of my teeth well enough; I told the guy at the counter «not» to schedule me, and he gave me a «sales pitch» that some people get their teeth cleaned more often than that. It was like, I really needed to do this.
They want to make money, and they do not care about the patient’s feelings regarding their practices. We have to respect them; they’re the experts, and if you disagree – they criminalize you.

Charged me $ 2000 plus my insurance for work not needed
Went in for a cleaning
Cap fell off next day and they said it was not covered
After a long argument they reinstalled the cap.
Then wanted to do more work
Do not go there unless you want spend a ton of money with no guarantee of quality

I really wanted to like this place and have a dentist that I could rely on for years to come! Well that didn’t happen! A year in and now my dentist that I was very comfortable with is poof gone! What a joke this place is and all of the «Smile Generation» offices!
Growing up I had the same dentist for 16 years! He knew me, what I was comfortable with, how my teeth were doing, and had a personal relationship with me as a patient! This place has high turnover, and no connections between the staff and the customers!
I will not be back, and I am SO glad I did not pay to renew my annual coverage with them!

I went to Hemet Dental for a year and hated each visit. They leave you waiting in rooms for hours. When you finally get someone they try to sell you a bunch of extra varnishes and treatments, and if you don’t get them, they treat you poorly. Everything operates like an assembly line and you never have the same dentist twice. I finally got fed up and switched to another dentist office on the other end of Florida, and I am much, much happier! Avoid this office like the plague.

I have been coming here for a about a year… at first they were trying to over charge me (about a thousand dollars) and their reason was their computer was not computing my insurance correctly… I asked for the procedure codes and checked online to see what my copay was and that is how I discovered that. like most dentists they want to sell you all they can but the problem is here… they do not tell you your options… they just give you the option that makes them the most money… pull a tooth 140.00…I said I paid nothing at the oral surgeons… oh! if you want the ‘sleep medication it is 140.00 but zero if you don’t want that’…I went in recently because an old crown fell off. he told me the tooth needs to be pulled… I have no problems with that tooth and it did not break. they want to sell me a partial and I do not want one… I want this tooth and if I need another root canal on it, fine. I now have a referral to an endodontist in a month so I asked for a temporary since the dentist refused to put my old crown back on, so that the tooth does not break off before that. NO, I was told. So this dentist is not willing to help me save my tooth until I can see the endodontist because he thinks it needs to be pulled… since when does a general dentist knows as much as an endodontist when it comes to root canals… I will be finding a new dental group after I see the specialist next month… if they don’t make a buck they will not help… they remind me of car salesmen.
I will say the staff is always very nice…

I am so disgusted. After my review I put on Unilocal; the office called me to discuss my post. They used my confidential information of my family and called me. Since I know they read this here is some advice– «shred my families information we will never be back!!!»

I had perhaps one of the most incredible experiences ever at the dentist, not to say that dentists are a great place to spend your time. The overall experience and customer service was far beyond any dental group I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with, although I do need some dental work, the doctor reviewed all of my dental records and showed me the work that needed to be done, so obviously no debate whether you need the work done or not. I would highly recommend them very professional outfit.

I used to come here awhile ago but left because I thought they were trying to up-​sell way too many things that I didn’t need. Well, when I left, and went to a different dentist, I felt like my teeth weren’t getting cleaned the same and the dentist was super hard on my teeth. So, I figured I would go back to Hemet Dental and try it out again. Everyone is always super nice here from the front desk to the x-​ray techs to the dentists. My teeth were bugging me and I know needed to get things fixed so I wasn’t in shock when they told me of an inlay that I needed with a deep cleaning. Yes, they are up-​selling the deep cleaning but my teeth felt so nice afterwards!
Yes, I know they are super expensive but they have everything you need done all in one place which is super nice. And I didn’t need to go back to finish up my inlay. I got it done all in the same day! It made me a very happy camper. And you pay for convenience!

Wow! Within an hour of writing my review here on Unilocal yesterday, I had a voicemail, on my personal phone, from Hemet Dental, regarding my review on Unilocal,according to the chick on the message. What a GROSS misuse of former patient private/​personal info! The only way they had access to my phone number would be through my patient records. I did not include contact info on my review so WTF! If this is not illegal, it SHOULD BE! Seems like harassment to me! RIDICULOUS!

I don’t like that my wifes cap fell off and they want to charge her to fix it cause the dr doesn’t work there anymore. Crooks… You should be ashamed!

so far so good! I have a wicked toothache they got me in pretty quick! I’m having my 3 wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow so I’ll update after that:)

I like this place, they have what I believe to be excellent medical equipment. The staff is very nice and professional at all times. My family has had work done here and so far no complaints. But if I was to have a negative thing to say about this place, it would be that you always get a feeling that your are being «pitched,» the next thing to have done. I am no dentist, it may be the things being offered are necessary, but I don’t think so. I will be sticking with these guys for a while.
As an update to my review October 2014, I wanted to say how happy I was with Dr. Craig. He did some work on my child and I was very impressed on how he handled himself with her. He spoke with her like you would a child who was nervous about being at the dentist office. He even called my home the next day to ask how she was doing.
My family and I have now been at this office for a while. And it’s experiences like the this one that will keep me at this office.

I have been seeing Dr. Nosti for a few years and am always more than happy with his work. He is brilliantly smart and very efficient. Yesterday I began orthodontic treatment with Dr. Torossian and was again very happy with my experience. The dental assistant who did my x-​rays, Louisa, had me laughing and smiling. The benefits counselors Rebecca and Vanessa always have excellent strategies to maximize my insurance benefits and work within my budget. There are so many other wonderful people in this office – I can’t remember all of their names, but you will love them too! I highly recommend this dentistry practice!

This is the dentist assigned by my Delta Dental HMO. I was a little wary and was not due for a check-​up for another month or so. Then Thursday one of my crowns broke in half. I called at 9:30 and received an appointment at 11:00AM. All the pre check-​in was done on line. About three hours later I walked out with a new crown. No impressions, they use computer technology and build the crown with a 3D printer. It fit perfectly. The staff and Dentists are very nice. What a clean state of the art facility and it is in Hemet no less.
Highly recommended.

Coming from a private practice to Dr. David Lee was a seamless transition thanks to his friendly, knowledgeable staff. Liz got me right in the door at my appointment time, Lori made my X-​Rays a breeze and Shannon finished it off with an affordable option. I definitely found my new dental office.

First time seeing this group as a patient. Everyone was great and made sure that i was doing well. Rebecca was very helpful in helping out with the payment options which were very fair. Dr. David Lee was great and knew what he was doing. Rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely continue to come here
