A Country Rose

first of all im upset i have to even give this place ONE star. this was the most RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL floral shop ive ever dealt with. i ordered flowers for a friend who was just discharged from the hospital. they attempted to deliver the flowers to her house, but she wasn’t home. (they should have contacted me at that point). and then they attempted to deliver the flowers again to her house but she still wasnt home (she was at a family members house, who was taking care of her). again at that point they should have contacted me but they never did. and they should have told me after the first attempt that there is a 2 attempt delivery policy and after that you have to pay for additional delivery attempts. but they DIDNT .
I called last saturday to have the flowers delivered to her work place the following monday. they woman on the phone said that her driver comes in at 10:30am and that the delivery location was close to the floral shop. so she should recieve the flowers before 12pm. well monday comes and she never recieved the flowers. i called the floral shop and a gentleman by the name of Bobby answered. i told him i ordered flowers to be delivered to my friend today but she nevef recieved them and his first comment was «FOR WHOOOOO?» very loud and very rudely. i said the girls name and he said he had no notes of the delivery for today and i mentioned that i spoke to a girl on saturday and he just kept repeating that he didnt have notes about that call. he kept saying that he’s already lost flowers from the bouquet they tried to deliver last week and that they already tried 2 times to deliver. he was very rude and did not want to help me. he told me they would try one more time but thats it and that he couldn’t give me a time of delivery because they have bigger orders to worry about. and theyve already wasted so much time and wasted flowers on my order. he made it seem like i was in the wrong and it was my fault she wasnt home taking care of herself. ridiculous. .
At the end of the day i will never order flowers from this shop nor will i ever recommend this floral shop to anyone i know looking for flowers. never never never again !!!

Ordered a floral arrangement that could travel for my mother who was visiting from out of town. Delivered to her hotel, waiting for her when she checked in. My mom loved the flowers & the person who took my order took into consideration that my mom would be traveling by car & could take the flowers with her. The shop is beautiful on the inside & has cute trinkets inside for sale.

I am giving A Country Rose only a 3 star for two reasons. 1 being they are very over priced. my brides maids got bouquets with 5 roses. I don’t know much about flowers but I can’t believe that would cost $ 45? I spent about a thousand and when I looked around I did not see a thousand dollars worth or flowers. 2 is the communication. Super hard to get an answer or an update when things in the wedding change. I felt like I was annoying them which isn’t cool when your paying a ton of money for something.
The few reason I did not make it a two or a one star: The flowers were beautiful. I feared they wouldn’t get my image right but I was wrong. They put everything together beautifully and it fit the style of my wedding. Also I was super worried that the flowers would be wilted or not fresh but that was not the case. The flowers I received were very vibrant and fresh. They were beautiful.

I’m trying to add. them THIS WAS THE WORST FLORAL EXPERIENCE EVER. so what could have been awesome bouquet of flowers just made for the crappiest mother’s day ever. I want to be enjoying these flowers and smelling their goodness not writing a review! THE FLOWERS WERE DELIVERED IN A JEEP LIKE I SAID IN MY PREVIOUS REVIEW

We ordered an arrangement for our boss whose father had passed away. We wanted something showey and delivered before she came to work. We ordered IN PERSON on Friday and asked for it to be delivered first thing because we were only two blocks away and it didnt get there until after 10am. After it arrived it looked like an ordinary vase with some flowers in it. there was no bow on it… there was nothing extraordinary it actualy look like the thing she had in the cooler on Friday… for $ 85 it should have been more special… like a bow !! We will not order from there again. she actually took someone who came in after us too. Bad customer service… She could have gotten a lot of business from us but it was like she didn’t care.

My wedding bouquet was perfect;)) i went with a Hawaiian theme for my wedding. I gave her my colors and my budget and description of what I wanted. When I got to Kauai for my honeymoon I noticed so many variegated plants. She nailed it with the variegated plant trim around the bottom. The bouquet looked way more expensive than what i paid for;;))))

I always get my Mother a nice sized beautiful flower arrangement for her birthday. It is sad that a 14″ tall by 8″ wide arrangement was delivered. I am pretty disappointed especially with the $ 20 delivery fee and it was that small. I will NOT be ordering from this location again. It is in the same town as my mother’s home and I will go somewhere else where i can rely on a nice size arrangement being delivered.

Called 1 week before the flowers were to be delivered. The flowers never arrived and the staff had no idea what happened. They blamed it on the guard at the gate and lied about trying to deliver the flowers and never attempted to deliver them. Four days later the only thing that they told me was they would refund my money and hung up on me. Paula, Pat and the deliver person Bobby were unable to help in any way. I was unable to talk to the owner but judging from the staff this florists has some real problems.

I am so upset with the service I got from the owner and her employees. I spend $ 54 on 2 Salt City Candles. One of the scents did not burn the way it smelt in jar. I called the shop the same day I purchased it and the girl told me no problem bring it back in and we can exchange or refund your money. When I went their this morning the older lady working the desk did not know how to issue the refund (I waited patiently for about 20 mins with my 21 month old baby). She called the owner and was informed by her that she could not refund me the money. I was furious! I have left a message for the owner to contact me and she has yet to call me. This is stealing!!! I have my receipt and it was barely burned. This is the worst customer service ever! Along with the fact that they have no signs on their return policy. I was a customer spending $ 75 to $ 100 every 2 months for these candles but I will make the drive to RC Willey to buy from now on!

Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my sis-​in-​law who lives in Henderson, using
. A Country Rose was the florist chosen by Teleflora to make and deliver the bouquet. After a less-​than-​satisfactory previous order through Teleflora (and a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FLORIST), I was beyond thrilled with what A Country Rose provided!
I chosed the $ 100 «Deal of the Day» bouquet and it was lush and beautiful, and loved the vase they used, too!

They did a wonderful job on helping us make a corsage for my sons date to homecoming. I had called 3 other florists nearby that either wouldn’t or couldn’t make one before finding A Country Rose. Will definitely be back!

Worst experience ever!!! Ordered my Mother’s Day flowers 4 days in advance, specifically requested they be delivered by noon and paid well over $ 100 for them. This florist not only did not deliver the flowers but when I called to check on the order at 5pm, they hung up on me twice, place me on hold 4 different times for over 30 mins, requested to call me back because they had no idea what happened to my order, then never called me back!!! When I finally called them back the they insisted I did not request a morning delivery and still had no idea about the status of my order! When I requested a refund they screamed at me and hung up on me once again??? I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company and they ruined Mother’s Day!

I purchased almost $ 200 in flowers from the shop for valentines day 2013. The 1^st flower delivery was 7 hours early which meant before she was even at work (that was ruined) & the second set of flowers was delivered fine but did not look like the picture I picked whatsoever. I picked the bejeweled beauty which is suppose to come in a purple vase, it came in a white vase with all pink flowers instead of what should of been in it, purple. I would not recommend this shop to anyone I know nor will I ever be back in there. To too it off, customer service was horrible & did absolutely nothing to fix the problem!

I called 45 minutes before the shop closed, and asked about getting a bridal bouquet for my mother-​in-​law.
I was greeted cheerfully on the phone, and ordered my bouquet. I was able to pick it up only an hour after they opened in the morning! Now that is excellent service.
The shop is absolutely beautiful inside and out. Beautiful gifts, other than flowers too.
