Autocall Auto Repair and A/C

I just picked up my Mercedes Benz 560sl that has been giving me air trouble for some time now. No one has been able to help. It’s a 1989. No one could find the needed part. Now I grant you it was probably very difficult to find but Autocall did it and it’s running perfectly. These were the nicest people to work with. Yes it took some time but my little baby it was worth it. I will definitly be back if and when needed. This was my dad’s car and I have to give it the best of care now that he is gone. I thank God I found Autocall to help. If you want good care by honest people Autocall is in my humble opinion the place to go.

Never going to this shop again. The new mechanic eddie is terrible. His brushing my concerns off caused life endangering situations and forced me to buy a new car. I HAD a 2005 mazda 3 hatchback. I had been hearing a noise from the rear passenger wheel that stopped when I put on the brakes. I took it to them because I had heard from a friend that they do good work. Frank looked at the wheel and saw that something was up with the calipers. He did a quick fix and told me that if it still made the noise that I was going to need to replace the calipers. A week later it was still making the noise. I brought it back and frank was gone, in his place was a new mechanic, eddie. I told him what frank told me and he brushed it off claiming that it was the brake pads. That they were glazed and needed to be replaced, even though they had just been replaced with frank. He replaced them, charging me for the parts and labor because they didn’t have a record of the prior service. Less than a month later I was back because it was still making the noise. Again he replaced the brake pads and charged me labor on an under warranty part. The noise still didn’t go away, I brought it back 2 days later and he brushed it off as road noise. Annoyed with being brushed off, I had my husband bring it back in 3 weeks later. He told eddie what frank had told me originally. Eddie looked at the caliper and said, yes, they have been binding and could have locked up at any point. This could have caused a serious and possibly fatal accident for either my husband or myself. So the calipers were replaced. The noise finally went away. Only to be replaced by a groaning noise when you turned left or right. I brought this concern in as well. He looked and told me that it was nothing, just old shocks, we (foolishly) believed him and went on our merry way. About 3 weeks down the road, that noise turned out to be the tie rods. We were in the middle of driving to new mexico when the groaning got worse and turned into a shuddering from the steering column. We managed to turn the car around and make it back to vegas. The next day we went to the dealership and traded the car in because it was not worth fixing. Never again.

Really gone downhill since ownership changed over. Was charged $ 100 non refundable fee to diagnose check engine light. Then given $ 1500 estimate for various repairs. Took it to James west auto and they fixed everything for $ 400 out the door. Seriously question the integrity at auto call these days. Would NOT go back.

They only get one start because I can’t post with out one or they would get none.
This place has given me the worst experience I have ever had when it comes to getting my car serviced.
March 22, 2014 — I had the breaks and rotors replaced on my mom’s 2011 Nissan Sentra. I was at that time over charged from what I was quoted by almost $ 100. Including the Lifetime warranty.
June 20, 2014 — I took my mom’s Sentra to San Diego, where during the whole drive down there, the steering wheel and breaks would shake and shutter when applied at a speed over 50mph.
I called and spoke with Tonya and she scheduled an appointment for the 26^th at 8am. I brought my mom’s Sentra in where I was then explained to Eddie after he looked at the vehicle that I needed new rotors. I was shocked since I just had them replaced in March. I asked Eddie why I would need new rotors so soon… he didn’t’ have an explanation for me. Everything was under warranty so Eddie told me that he would have everything ordered for me for when I came back that Saturday the 28^th because I couldn’t stay to have them replaced at that time.
I called in the Friday before to move my appointment to a later time since I had a standing appointment already that day. My appointment was moved. On Saturday before I was to bring the car in Tonya called me to tell me that they couldn’t do the breaks that day because they closed at 1pm. So I rescheduled the appointment to Thursday July 3, 2014.
On July 3, 2014, after I had already arrived, I was told by Eddie that he couldn’t work on my vehicle that day because he didn’t have a rack for me. It was then we proceeded to go back and forth where he told me that I didn’t show up for my previous appointment and that he didn’t know if I would show up for this one. I explained to him that I rescheduled and then was rescheduled by Tonya. Again, my appointment was moved to July 12^th, 2014.
I arrived early on July 12, 2014 because again, I had a standing Saturday appointment I had to be at. This was expressed to Tonya when she called to confirm for me the day before. Eddie arrived 15minutes late that day. I expressed to Tonya that I wanted to see the rotors before and after they were placed on the vehicle. An hour and a half goes by and I still hadn’t seen anything. I asked again, Eddie then came in to talk to me and said that the new parts hadn’t even arrived yet. That he ordered them 30 minutes ago.
I asked him why the parts weren’t already there and why did it take so long for him to order them. He stated that he needed to see what was wrong with the vehicle first and then order things, which is the complete opposite from what I was told and what he had already done. I told him that I was feeling mislead and that I needed to be out by a certain time and again asked to see the rotors that came off the Sentra. We walked in the back to the shop where I looked at the rotors on the ground that came off and they were not new or 3 month old rotors. Previous to this visit I had a friend take a peek at them as well and also said the same thing. SO when I paid for new rotors I didn’t get new rotors.
Needless to say Eddie at AutoCall basically called me a liar on a few occasions and proceeded to do unnecessary things to the Sentra and drag his feet. This place is completely unprofessional and is run by a guy who takes no responsibility for his work or your car.

Wow. All I have to say is this place is awesome! Thank you Edward for fixing my car AC when I took it to another place 3 other times and they ripped me off and never fixed it. Highly recommend!

I’m giving this place a star because if I don’t mark at least one star I can’t add a review. My mother (77 years old) took her 1992 Toyota Camry because it ran out of freon. We knew that since this is an old car it had to be changed from R12 to R134a, and in fact that’s what we were told by Eduardo (Eddie). He also added many other things in order to fix it. He told my mother that he would charge her $ 475.00 including taxes. I also called him to make sure she understood correctly and he told me the same thing. Long story short, after keeping the car for 4 days, including a whole weekend, without any apologies, my mother finally went to pick up her car to find that the price changed to $ 503.00. He never called my mom to tell her or ask her if it was okay to proceed with the change in price. When my mother and my sister asked him why the price increased, he said because of the tax. He was just plain rude and acted like she was annoying him. My mom talked to the lady in the front and she talked to him an he offered a free oil change. Please, an oil change!!! the point here is his dishonesty, his rude demeanor, keeping the car for so long without any apologies, and his lack of consideration.

No complaints here! Easy in, easy out. Work was done well and completed on time! Many thanks for being an oasis in the desert that is auto repair!

Been taking my 1996 Honda Civic here for years for routine maintenance and major work (AC condenser, new radiator, brakes, starter). 150,000 miles later… still have the car. Honest. Fair. Reliable.

Overcharged for diagnose and worst of all, wrongly diagnose by the mechanic Frank. If I didn’t suggested another method it would have cost me over $ 500. In addition when they changed my headlight bulb they broke it but said it was already broken. This place is very dishonest. I strongly don’t recommend this place to anyone.

AutoCall has done all my auto repairs since I moved to las Vegas. I’ve needed my auto ac repaired las summer and they fixed me up. Then my alignment and brakes were in need of attention and the mechanics at autocall fixed those as well. Great mechanics that know all about auto repair in las Vegas and Henderson!

Finally an HONEST car mechanic!!!
I have been going to Autocall for a year and a half now, and I love them! They are always honest about what needs to be fixed and actually tell me when I DONT need something done. I went to GM for my 60k service and was told I needed almost a thousand dollars worth «preventative» maintenance. When I took my car to autocall right after, they quoted me the same service for $ 200!!! Wow! Love this place!

After seeing good reviews for Autocall, I took my SUV there for AC repair. I was in and out in under an hour. Quick, professional service, for much less than I expected to pay. I found my go-​to mechanic. Working AC in the blazing Vegas heat. I am a happy driver again. Thanks Autocall.

This place could have been the best auto repair shop I’ve been to in Vegas until their employees decided to take on more than they could handle. I went in around 11 am to get my A/​C recharged to get ready for the summer and since I thought maybe the do-​it-​yourself kits didn’t work and they had their A/​C special, ($ 30) I thought I would give it a shot.
After waiting around for about an hour, the mechanic comes in and tells me that it wasn’t the charge, but it was 2 parts that weren’t working properly (surprise, another $ 400). They tell me that it would take about 2 hours to install and since I had my newborn daughter with me, I didn’t want to make her (and the other customers) suffer, so I told them I would take her to the babysitter and come back in about an hour.
*I even asked TONY if it was alright that I took her home while he ordered the parts and had them delivered, he said NO PROBLEM
after returning to the shop around 130 PM, they were shocked that I came back and said that they didn’t order the parts because they thought I took off and wasn’t coming back

TONY said that he didn’t order the parts because of that and that he would order them right away
about an hour and a half later, I ask the female about how much longer until my car is ready and since she didn’t know, she had to ask TONY.
She comes back and says that he ordered the part about 10 MINUTES AGO and that it would be here shortly
ARE YOU KIDDING!!! I’VE BEEN HERE FOR ALMOST 2 HOURS AND YOU JUST ORDERED THE PART!!!

So I wait
and wait
and wait
and finally 330 comes around and I have to reschedule my Mother’s Day gift to my because I could not take her to get her massage
I step outside and what do I see? MY CAR IN THE SAME PLACE THAT I PARKED IT
SERIOUSLY???
So I text my wife and ask her after she gets off work to either come pick me up or just wait until my car is ready
she gets there around 445PM and I ask should I go home or should I just stay
TONY said the mechanic said it would be ANOTHER 2 HOURS! But they would «stay as late as possible to make sure all the cars get done BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T WANT TO COME IN ON SATURDAY!!!»
WHAT???
ugh
fine.
So I go home and await his call.

6PM rolls around and I get a call
«hey, are you on your way?»
my reply is «no, should I be?»
TONY says «no, the mechanic said it would be ANOTHER 2 HOURS!!!»
WHAT!!!
at this point I am fed up so I just say whatever and call me when it is actually ready
(if you are keeping track of time, my 2 hour A/​C repair has turned in to a 5 hour job)
9PM
yes, 9!!!
TONY calls again.
«your car is ready»
I head over there to pick up my car
get there around 930PM
MY CAR IS STILL NOT READY BECAUSE IT IS «HOOKED UP TO THE A/​C MACHINE»
WHAT?!
HE SAID IT WAS READY!

another 25 minutes pass and the mechanic finally brings it around the front
so yes, 955PM
my 2 hour job turned in to a 9 hour job
and my $ 400 parts/​labor turned in to a $ 495 job! WHAT?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
He said that he «took $ 100» off because it went over the estimated cost
I’m sorry if you got bored reading my rant but this place is ridiculous and just because the mechanic accepted too many cars and they did not want to work on Saturday.

NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

These guys are great! I needed an emergency trip to the mechanic so I could get on the road. They were able to see me and fix my car within a matter of minutes! Frank and his staff stayed late just so that they could help me. Outstanding customer service. I was blown away by how knowledgeable and down to earth the entire staff was. This is a «no extra frills» shop, but they pass the savings on to the customers. I appreciate a mechanic that I can trust. I would use them again in a hot quick second. I can’t recommend this shop highly enough. Thanks!

I don’t write many reviews, however this recommendation is rightfully deserved. I took in my car to fix a malfunction with my wipers and Frank, who was working the front desk and a technician, told me how long the process would take and the pricing. They were suppose to charge me to look at the car, but Frank decided to give it a quick look. He quickly discovered the problem and spent 5 minutes to fix the problem. He took time to explain the problem and solution. I tried to tip him, but he would not take it. My car knowledge is limited, so they could have charged me anything and told me the problem was bigger than it really was. I give them five stars for their honesty and customer service.

I am always skeptical of mechanics. Always. So when someone I work with referred me here, I was very nervous. What a waste of anxiety and worry.
I took my car here because when I was getting an oil change at a different shop, I was told I was very close to needing new brake pads. Frank and Jimmy actually showed me the brake pads and told me. .. THAT I COULD WAIT! Every auto shop tries to upsell you and they actually told me I could wait if I wanted. When I was quoted an incredibly cheap price I decided to go ahead and get the brake pads anyway.
I drove clear across town to come to this shop and I would have paid a lot more money for such great service and the feeling that I was not getting ripped off. Fortunately, I didn’t have to pay a lot more. Highly recommend Auto Call and will be a repeat customer.

After being in Vegas for 9 months I have had a few painful experiences from different auto shops doing something as simple as an oil change.
I looked online and saw this place had ⁵⁄₅ stars with 30+ reviews.
Decided to take a chance and go in there. Frank who I assume is the owner or manager was very nice and they got the oil change done in great time and their prices are awesome.
Wish I would have found this place when I moved here!

I have taken my car here countless times. Frank and his team never fail to surpass my expectations.
I took my car somewhere else twice, and regretted it both times.
The first time I took my car there I had called around for quotes on some work and they undercut the next closest company by $ 240. They quoted $ 280 vs. $ 520 and $ 560.
I was skeptical but couldn’t afford to not do it. I dropped the car off. An hour later one of the mechanics calls me and confirms the diagnosis of the problem and asks permission to start work.
an hour later they call me back to tell me there is an additional problem, and they quote me for it, then… to my disbelief, they said «it’s nothing major we can (mechanic jargon) it so you don’t have to repair it immediately. So I get there and they give me the bill. $ 268…It was history in the making. They charged me LESS than the quote.
The second time I took the car in was after my ex girlfriend decided to play bumper cars with my pathfinder and an accord. It was running loud and having problems including an oil leak. In order to check it out they had to bang out the left front quarter panel, and they don’t do body work here but it looked great, AND they didn’t charge me for the labor of pounding it back into place. AND… they washed my car… No Joke… they washed my car because the oil had gotten all over the lower sides and wheels. So, they took it upon themselves to clean it up including wiping down the windows, and didn’t charge me for it.
My family knows several mechanics, but even if they were here in Vegas, i seriously doubt I would ever take it to anyone other than Frank.

This Shop is a total DISAPPOINTMENT!
OK First off I call down and the owner/​shop head tells me that he charges 88 $ per hr fine!
I get there its just like any ol’ open garage. I could tell that its not totally established being there isn’t a real office, just a corner with a desk and some chairs. Whatever! just needed a motor blower he charged me to install it GREAT! Thanks
Not even a month went by and my fan blows out! Mind you just as the day I went in with my 1 and two yr old hot and sweaty we go back! My husband is with us this time (whom the owner/​head of the shop met the last time). Husband goes up to the same man we’ve dealt with all along, and tells him that the fan sounds like it went out again, and asked if he can check it out! THIS GUY has the nerve to say ill have to charge you to look at it. Just look? WTF. the same shop owner/​shop head/​come into my corner/​money hungry man told us that he’d have to charge to even look/​listen to the part that he installed and wrote a receipt for! This shop gets no stars (if that’s even possible). This is Vegas where we have triple digit heat and you turn my husband, me, and our two kids away bc we cant pay you to look at a problem you fixed not even a full month ago! How RUDE! I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to get the treatment they gave. As a businessman you should be confident enough to stand behind your own work. Confident enough to man up to YOUR mistakes.
Horrible Experience!

I needed a new mechanic, and was really happy with this place! I don’t really know anything about cars, but this place didn’t make me feel stupid, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why.
They are very helpful, and are very straightforward with their pricing. They don’t screw you over with extra costs, and don’t say you need extra things fixed. They fixed my car for what the dealership told me it would cost to just inspect my car!
I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!
