The staff is friendly and quick. The doctor works efficiently and answers questions. Second time here and I’ve had no problems.

I have been wearing contacts for 17 years and this was not a good contact fitting. First off he didn’t even ask me if I would like to take put in or take out the contacts myself, he just came at me and did it himself — which is very uncomfortable considering I am a pro at doing this myself as well as he has very long nails. I don’t know when the last time he washed his hands was… all in all not comfortable in the least. Secondly I knew right away this new pair of lenses he tried was not fitting in the left eye but he said it was because my eyes were dry, and then because my eyelids were swollen — no this was because the lens did not fit. The whole experience top to bottom caused me to go elsewhere

Horrible customer service! I am so disgusted with the way they treat their customers! Absolutely inexcusable. The place is dirty and the staff is rude! I had an appointment which was paid for by my insurance January 2014, My insurance will not pay for another exam until January 2015 which I completely understand the reasoning behind that. So…this eye doctor will not honor a free trial pair of Air Optic contacts unless i pay out of pocket $ 130 for another exam! I had to pay $ 50 for the«contacts prescription» which is highway robbery(I mean c”mon, $ 50 to write down on a prescription pad which took all of 30 seconds!!! So, I actually will have to pay $ 180. Note: my prescription is valid until January 2105, but because I neglected to bring in this free trial coupon thing at the time of my appointment, they will not honor it! I’ve called other eye doctors and they all have told me that that is definitely wrong and is not the way THEY would treat their customers! I mean I have a valid prescription so whats the problem!!! I am so ticked off, you just don’t treat your customers like this!!! Not to mention that the«free trial» doesn’t cost the eye doctor a dime. You should be ashamed of yourself and I have one more word for you: KARMA

I have been going to DR Smith’s office for a few years now… I have had nothing but the best experience with the staff, the girls Irma, Maura, Nicky up front are professional welcome you with a smile, always friendly, go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your choice of glasses/contacts, assist you if your having a difficult time trying to pick out glasses from their many selections of styles Dr Smith is welcoming as well, knows what he is doing, never had any issues with him or his judgment on testing… Thank you for making me feel welcome and going above and beyond for me!!! see you guys next year… Jacob

His site paints a very different picture. The atmosphere needs serious updating as does the equipment. I’ve never been given an eye patch to wear durring parts of an exam before. The staff was not warm or welcoming. Dr. Smith did an okay job but it was not the atmosphere I was hoping for.

My wife and daughter went here, the glasses the gave my daughter were oversized and the bent them like crazy to make them fit. When we picked the style out I thought they were going to give her the appropriate size. My wife got her prescription for contacts at same time and he change her lens types which she has always had to have special lenses and the lenses are too big, she went back and the dr. laughed at her and said she wasn’t wearing them right(she’s been wearing contacts for 20 years) and refused to remeasure her eyes. Thanks for wasting my insurance, I will be calling them and suggesting the drop you as a provider.
