I will be taking my business else where. My Husband placed a review on this business because they took over an hour past my doctors appointment. Robert Y is my husband and wrote this review «My wife has a 11:15am appointment but is still sitting in the lobby at 12:10pm. This is our first visit and never met Dr. Docasar. So far not impressed with how the office operates. Why schedule an appointment if the office cant keep their own schedule? Its messed up my other appointments for today. We only came here because my wife’s primary care scheduled this appointment. We aren’t a walk in. We wont be back.». She refuses to treat me because of this review. I am the patent not my husband, then adding insult to injury, I call back and speak to the office manager who then informs me about the doctor refuses to see me.
The place look too much of a medical spa… not a doctors office. TOO focused on Botox, sexual lotions and what not’s… NOTE TO BUSINESS … fix the problems and you wouldn’t receive negative publicity.

I have been in search for a great ob/​gyn and I have believed I found her! The check in process was fast and easy (I was able to pre print and fill out all my paperwork by downloading it from the website). The receptionist (sorry didn’t get her name but she is from Hawaii :)) was very nice and thorough and also walked over to me to hand me back my insurance and ID! The waiting room is comfortable and modern they also offer water, fruit infused water and granola bars (such a great touch since I was starving). I was expecting to wait for a long time but was called in within 15 mins. Dr. Docasar was extremely friendly and I felt instantly comfortable with her. She was gentle while performing my annual pap smear and was great in answering all my questions. I will definitely be going back here :)

‘DISMISSED’ FROM CARE DUE TO THIS Unilocal REVIEW, AS PER STATED BY THE OFFICE MANAGER – BEWARE.
I’ve been there twice now and each time, I’ve just felt pissed, while I’m there and after. I can’t wait to leave.
The staff is varying degrees of snippy. They have these policies that are just not patient friendly – like they won’t let me have copies of my test results without setting a 5-​minute appointment to see the doctor. Wow, talk about milking each and every penny. I was already upset that I had pay Quest $ 140 on the annual exam and a test she really recommended that I have, even though I told her I had the same test years before and I shared the results with her. So basically, even with insurance, I owed that much from the first appointment. They basically made $ 200 to see me for 15 minutes.
I got through the procedure fairly painlessly and Dr. Docasar was a little more personable than our last appointment, when she told me my PMS symptoms could be worse and «wait til you get older.» Uh, right, but what about NOW? Talk about being talked down to.
After the procedure, I bled and bled (over 24 hours), something I have never done after several same procedures in the past. Don’t know what that’s all about.
To boot, I had to sit there and wait 20 minutes after my procedure in a room with the door open (so all the staff could see I was just.sitting.there) to have my blood drawn and then, they said they wouldn’t release the results to me, I would either have to request them on my own from the lab or I would have to do (yet another) appointment with them (see paragraph #2).
Several days after the appointment, I get a message that the pharmacy called and «the medication that Dr. Docasar put it isn’t carried anymore. Okaaaayy? Sorry.» She then thought to add her name and the office number. And then hung up. But how about something like this (customer service 101), «The pharmacy called and they don’t have the particular prescription medication, so we looked up several alternatives and we wanted to run a few options past you, please call us to discuss, and then we will happily resubmit a different prescription.» At this point, I’m not even calling back, I’m just going to go back in to talk with these idiots in person.
Oh, and they are always trying to upsell cosmetic products and supplements. This month is a «September special,» whoowhoo, so of course anyone who wants their v***** checked and their botox done, this apparently is your place! And Dr. Docasar told me twice about these really great supplements that will help with my immune system, and don’t you know, she just happens to sell them?
This place is a joke, they must thrive on all the uppity women who chose to come here. I can’t wait to NOT return. Ever. Oh, and check out all the ‘not recommended’ reviews, there are several 1-​stars in there.
Thanks again for the dismissal letter, somewhat-​aggressive office manager! Now, I don’t have to come back for my 5-​minute appointment! Good riddance! A decent medical practice would LISTEN to their patients, not ‘dismiss’ them.

I have been seeing Dr Docasar for several years now. She is the most caring Doctor that I have seen. She takes the the time to answer any concerns or questions I have. Dr Docasar is extremely knowledgeable and makes me feel that I am important NOT just another patient! I highly recommend her!

I have known Dr Docasar for over 10 years. Always have had a very good experience with her. The office is cosy, inviting and very clean. The stuff is wonderful and very helpful. Dr. Docasar herself is an amazing physician and person– very knowledgable, uptodate with the newest aspects of the medicine. I respect her for her versatility — she can manage everything– from the simple women’s Gyn complain, to the complex multifactorial problem of the aging.
I would recommend her for every woman who wants to take good care of herself.

If your willing to make ridiculous office charges to sit in a nicely decorated office the this is the place to be!
I have an appointment scheduled for 12:30pm and called in at about 8:15am. I called to reschedule my appointment due to a flat tire I was told that I would be charged a fee of $ 50 to cancel the appointment. When I tired to explain my situation the office desk didn’t care to hear it. They said they could push my appointment back to 2pm and when I said I will not be able to take that time due to my children getting off school there was nothing they could do for me.
When I asked to speak to the office manager I was transferred over. Monique was the office manager who I spoke with she also didn’t care to much to hear about my situation. I understand that a fee is charged but I don’t think it’s ok to show absolutely no empathy towards clients. She was cold and direct about the charge. That’s all they cared about to make a point to charge me. I don’t care about the $ 50 charge it upset me so much to not even feel like they would accommodate anything for their clients. Pushing the appointment back 1 hour and 30 mins was all they can do and apparently cause my children get off at that time it’s my problem I can’t make it to the only other appointment they have. After the frustration of dealing with all this in the morning I responded to Monique «It’s a F*cking flat tire» I’m doing everything I can. She then quickly said «I will not be spoken to like that.» And informed me she would inform the Dr and the charges will be up to her. She was quick so show some type of emotion when I drop the F* bomb but throughout our entire conversation before that I felt like I was talking to a wall.
If I get this $ 50 charge for Flat Tire then I’ll pay the charge. No one deserves to deal with an unexpected situation and do their best to work around it for the other party to give them no options. $ 50 charge vs. the amount of time I would have been loyal to this office. Service is everything to me. They have enough clients I’m sure the loss of one won’t affect them.
****The response I received from my post provided by this office clearly shows they do not pay attention to detail. The response says they try to accommodate yet tell you that there is no later time when you try to reschedule due to unexpected events? That’s not accommodating to anyone. The variety of contact options has nothing to do with the rudeness I experienced from the management and office staff. I don’t need to be told what contact options I have clearly I contacted the office as early as 8am. After being provided with no solution I was told by the office manager I would receive a call by end of day which I never did. Instead of telling your clients options of communication educate your team. The fact that the office manager stated she would give me a call by end of day and never did SHOWS that this office does not follow what they preach. I also said in my previous review that the fee isn’t the issue its the treatment by the staff.

I saw Haydee Docasar on 8÷20÷09, for a routine, yearly pap smear.
I did not want any other tests, because I knew my insurance at the time would not pay for them.
After my appointment, I receive a bill from Quest diagnostics, for my pap smear, which was… about $ 6. I paid it.
After that, I receive another bill from Quest, only this time, for $ 160;
for tests CPT CODES 87 591– Gonorrhoeae and Trahomatis.
UNKNOWN TO ME, something from MY BODY, was sent out for testing.
I tried calling the office, and had several missed attempts. An employee named «Jimmy» and I were playing phone tag. After several calls, with no response, I figured that the issue was fixed. Seeing as how I did not ask for any tests.

I get a collections notice, for the $ 160.
On ²⁄₁₂ I sent a letter contesting these charges.
During my visit, I was NEVER asked, nor where the tests addressed or spoke of.
I was not told by Docasar or the staff that samples would be sent to Quest for testing.
I was there for a pap smear ONLY, and nothing else.
I asked Docasar to pay the bill.
I DO, along with any other patient, HAVE THE RIGHT OF REFUSAL.
*On ²⁄₁₈ I receive an answer.
Dr. Docasar follows the recommendations of the «American College of Obstertrics and Gynecology» for sexually active patients ages 19 to 35 is a yearly PAP that includes a screening for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia. This is their standards, which I did not see marked on their paperwork.
Dr. Docasar agreed to pay the charges, and I was «dismissed» from Docasar’s care.
FINE WITH ME.
Haydee Docasar took it upon herself to conduct these tests without discussing them with me, and if she would have let me know that they were «mandatory» with a pap smear, I would have put my pants on and walked right out.

This doctor is very sweet and I loved when she was located at A Womans Place. The experience I had with her receptionist today was less than pleasant.
I called to make an appointment for my yearly. I know about when it is because, a lot of girls in our office use Dr. Docasar. I called and the receptionist said I had made an apt a year ago when I went in for the yearly in 2014, February 2014.
I said well I should have received a call or email reminder. That is a year out so I was instructed at that time if I made an apt I could move it around if need be and that I would receive a call.
A call was never made. The receptionist states «My notes show a call was made so the fee is owed». I said I could bring my phone records and my call logs and that said call was indeed never made. I also said I will like to come in and make an apt and she said well at that time you will owe the $ 50 and I said again please let me bring in my records or lets discuss this at my arrive.
She then says she is going to call billing and let me know what they can do then says thanks and hang up.
No apt was ever made even though that was the reason I called, Just like no call was made even though the «notes» state one was.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Haydee and so far it is such a relief compared to my previous gynecologist. I love that the office is smaller and boutique like. Dr. Haydee seems like she truly cares about her patients. She does not just perscribe you medicine and send you walking. She actually wants to help you take the preventive measures to stay healthy. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I felt that the staff could have been a lot better. They did not communicate well enough to me. At the end of my appointment I was confused and had to ask multiple questions about when I would get my test results back. I feel like they should have communicated more clearly with me but besides that I would recommend Dr. Haydee

, even google maps to see the great number of bad reviews. The staff is rude, unorganized, unprofessional and the doctor doesn’t care about her patients. Save yourself the money and time and go elsewhere!

Dr. Docasar is really nice and makes you feel safe and comfortable. Going to get a Pap smear is never considered fun, but she is extremely professional and makes it quick and painless. She is very thorough and makes sure she checks everything necessary.
Her office is clean and the staff is very friendly. She is conscious of her patients time and doesn’t make you wait forever. I wish other types of doctors were as considerate as her.
I highly recommend Dr. Docasar if you are looking for a gyro in the Henderson area and I am grateful for doctors like her who care about their patients.

Saw Dr. Docasar today & i must say, i will recommend her to any of my (female) family & friends! Dr. Docasar & her staff made me feel so comfortable & welcome at my very first appointment. Waiting room is nicely decorated like if I was visiting my friend’s for afternoon tea. Went in for a check up… I did not have to wait too long so that was great.

I saw Dr. Docasar on and off for over 4 years now (because I’m always out of town). She is such a great woman! Last time I had to get a procedure done at her office, her team was so funny and easygoing which took my mind off of the stress of the procedure. When I came back for a follow up visit 2 weeks later, my insurance had ran out. I was really worried about paying for the appointment (I’m a student with no job), and she told me don’t worry about it and that she’d rather see me put the money into taking care of myself. I was so touched! That had to have been my best encounter with a doctor!

I was referred to Dr. Docasar from a friend to help me with my menopause symptoms. She uses the bio identical hormones, and let me tell you, it’s been amazing! I’m a different person! No more hot flashes, night sweats, or cray cray episodes. I highly recommend her for all your female needs. She’s very kind, patient and genuine about my well being.
