I have been going to Henderson Modern dental for a few years now and out of all the dentists I have seen, this place is my favorite. It’s very close to home and the staff is great. I honestly hate going to the dentist. But every time I leave, I walk out of here happy. The dental assistants are very friendly and Dr Muggleston is awesome. He’s really friendly and really cares about patient care. There has never been a bad experience coming here :)

They claimed it would cost $ 6,000 to fix my teeth, 2 crowns, several fillings, etc. This struck me as a red flag, because I go to the dentist regularly and dentists usually give compliments on dental care. Got a 2^nd opinion at Kenneth Hill and he said my teeth were just fine, nothing needed. So, I trust Kenneth Hill and not Henderson Modern Denistry.
It didn’t help things that the office manager there lied by saying she emailed xrays when she didn’t. The other staff member and I caught her in this, because they don’t know how to email it directly from the computer, but say they have to print it out, then re-​scan the printed page back into the computer, then email it. She didn’t do this when she said she emailed it and I not surprisingly didn’t get her email… and they call it ‘modern’ dentistry.

If you’re smart — stay away from them. Husband and I moved and went to see them since they were closer to our place. We both were diagnosed with periodontal disease and other issues such as a bunch of cavities, bad old crowns, wisdom teeth needed to be pulled, etc. We only agreed upon the periodontal cleaning. Looking at our dental claim, we can see that they charged our insurance quite a lot — even for a 5 minute consultation with their specialist, they charged our insurance over $ 200? WTH? We went to a different dentist two weeks later and they found no problems? No cavities, crowns are just fine and recommended to leave the wisdom teeth in? Just a bunch of money makers there. If you read the previous reviews about how they were told of having periodontal disease, go figure.

I’m a big baby when it comes to the Dentist. The entire staff especially Dr. Quinn were very accommodating and very sensitive to my feelings. They really helped put me at ease! The office was modern and I felt like I received the best care. I loved being able to watch TV too, it really helped calm me down. Will definitely refer Henderson Modern Dentistry to others!

Sooo, I recently moved here. Made an appointment for a routine cleaning. Staff is friendly enough, fill out the new patient information, was taken back right away. Spoke with the dentist in her «office» that experience was different, never have done this in any dental office. So I was ask why I was there, I advised I was there for a routine cleaning. I was told I would get X-​rays and then she would go over the findings. I’ve had A LOT of dental work done so this is not my first rodeo. X-​rays done, the dentist comes in and reviews the X-​rays, I am told I have periodontal disease and need a deep cleaning, the cost to me is $ 300+ dollars. I have never been told by any dentist that I have this issue… humm. So I am told they have financing available… right …it’s a credit card that charges 23.99% interest… wtf!!! In addition I do have an old crown (original cost in 97 was 940.00) that has to be replaced because the porcelain has broken … This could be all mine at a cost to me AFTER insurance of $ 511.00. So the total cash price (after a couple of try’s to get it right) is…$ 3,472.00. The negotiated rate with insurance is &1799.00 insurance will pay 895.00 I have to pay… wait for it…903.40! I want to throw up! So I can’t afford this for a long time and am upset with the «financing» that shit is retarded. So I explain for the fourth or fifth time I made the appointment for the routine cleaning… I got it, it was subpar service… not too excited about this place. In addition my husband had an appt today for the same routine service… guess what… he has periodontal disease too. There is another $ 300+ out of pocket for cleaning. He got his routine cleaning that was a little better than mine… not sure why it is different… that was weird. He felt it was half ass compared to previous routine cleanings we have had. The take away from this… It might be to expensive for us and I suspect all patients are told they have periodontal disease so they can bill the insurance $ 1912.00 for cleaning

Great office. You feel taken care of. Those same day crowns are wonderful. It really is modern dentistry! Technology there is amazing. But people in the office are great too.

Great location plenty of parking not to mention the great staff very professional! This location has it all Ortho and Oral Surgeons they were very helpful friendly warm and very caring to my concerns.
I personally thought there was absolutley no hope due to the staining damage done by Tetracycline on my teeth well all I can say is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
The cosmetic work is natural looking not bulky work I can actually say I have the celebrity smile I always wanted!

Absolutely amazing as always!!! The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Dr. Mugglestons work is «perfection» and he makes the procedure virtually painless! This is my 3^rd visit to this office. All 3 visits were made «same day» and my dental needs were taken care of! Thank you again HMD for taking such wonderful care of me!!!

I am from the East Coast and had to find a dentist when I moved here. I originally lived in Summerlin and went to Canyon Pointe Dental and the doctor barely even looked in my mouth and I thought they were lying about my cavity.
I decided to go here and see Dr. Quinn as a friend referred me and I LOVED it. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen but when it was my time, Dr. Quinn, herself, actually brought me back and went over everything in her office and then I got X-​Rays and had to wait about another half hour before I had my cleaning and people to look in my mouth. They do have TVs in the room though which is convenient for the waits. She then did my exam and filled a cavity I have and I HATE dentists and I did not feel a thing and she was great when I asked for more novacaine and everything.
I am VERY picky with my selections of doctors but I will DEFINITELY be back. I highly recommend this dentist.
The only negative is the wait times. My appointment was at 12:30 and I left at 3pm. Half of it was waiting.

All I have to say is EVERY dentist (and doctor for that matter) need to take a page out of Dr. Muggleston’s playbook. He takes care of his people and shows he really cares about you and your experience. His team takes his lead and treats you just as well, so the whole experience from reception to hygienist to benefits coordinator is unparalleled to any dental office I’ve been to. I also really love the technology in the office… crowns in a day — What?! I don’t have to come back & wear temporaries for 2 weeks? LOVE IT!

We have been to dental offices from the East coast to the West coast. Henderson Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics is the cream of the crop. From as soon as you open the front door you are greeted by the most friendly and welcoming front desk staff. The dental assistants are friendly, knowledgeable and gentle. The dental clinic is loaded with the most modern up to date dental equipment that is in existence (you can go home with a brand new crown in the same day !!!). They accept care credit should you need immediate care where you can pay in installments interest free provided you are responsible.
The waiting room is extremely comfortable with coffee, tea or hot chocolate, television, purified water and children friendly. Unfortunately you do become comfortable and then BOOM you are called in as you are never kept waiting long. Henderson Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics runs its business with precision.
Of course I must save the best for last. Owner and one of the most talented and well educated dentist we have ever met, throughout the entire country will convert your issues into happiness and quickly at that. Dr. Cody Paul Mugleston, DMD is the best dentist in the country from our many dental experiences. Dr. Mugleston even teaches other dentists on the use of the latest in modern dentistry technology.
We highly recommend Henderson Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics and MacDonald Modern Dentistry to all who appreciate quality service and amazing results.

I love this dental office. I take both my children here and the staff is wonderful. They explain everything they are going to be doing so my children aren’t nervous or scared. They have kid movies playing in the offices while my children are getting their teeth cleaned. We saw Dr. Kat Martin and she was very kind and friendly. I recommend this office to anyone with children.

Cody Mugleston is the best dentist, with the best practice, we have ever found. My husband had a cracked tooth that had been bothering him for a number of years and was progressively getting more painful. None of our previous dentists could clearly identify which tooth it was and kept telling him to wait until there was a more visible sign of where the problem was.
With the state-​of –the-​art equipment at MD, Dr. Mugleston was able to identify the crack, perform the dental work and make and install the crown in less than 3 hours. The tooth was saved!

Amazing Dentist and office staff! We just moved here and this is our 2^nd dentist office that we tried… and our last! My 10 year old has always dreaded going to the dentist but LOVED the dentist here. I love that they only suggest things and are NOT pushy with up selling. They also have everything you need in 1 building from Periodontist, dentist, orthodontist, and more. Also, we made an appointment, which they got us in quick and hardly had to wait.

Dr. Mugleston is great, as always! He is gentle and made my procedure as painless as possible. Even if sitting in a dentist’s chair is not barrels of fun, at least it’s not a «white knuckle» experience. I’ll be back!

I was able to be seen on very short notice the doctors squeezed me in within their busy schedule to fit mine! Great customer service and patient care. Thorough with the process, payment, and plan of care. Highly recommended!

My son and I can go at same time and then he can hang out in kids play area until I’m finished. I absolutely love the staff and never feel like they try to up sale me on anything. They utilize all the latest dental technologies including paperless check in and signatures. Love this place!

The location was convenient for me and I liked the fact they are a «MODERN» dental office. My wife was a patient first and she raved about the office and how they had better pricing for out-​of-​pocket patients. This office saves you money when you need major dental work. They make the crowns themselves on the premises which translates into savings for you.
I came here on the excited coat tails of my wife to get a general cleaning done. They offer a special $ 59 first time patient deal for cleaning, X-​rays and check up. Prior to coming here, I went to another modern dentist but wanted to try this place out.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’m glad I didn’t have any scheduled appointments afterwards because the process took 2.5 hours. They had me filling out the new patient medical history on the computer, then it was off to pictures & X-​rays which took another 20 minutes, then they do a panorama picture. very impressed with high tech equipment. Then they put me in the chair for an exam & measurements. I met with Dr. Sikat and she was very nice. She seemed new and was a little awkward with how she does her introduction as she asked me 20 questions about my personal life. She then looked at my teeth and I have good teeth so I’m accustomed to hearing dentists say that. My last checkup was only 8 months ago. But Dr. Sikat in her eager fresh out of school attitude told me that I had early stages of periodontal disease. I asked her why no other dentists has ever told me that before and questioned how I could go from «great teeth» to «early periodontal disease». She said it was just her school of thought because I had slight gum recession. So she recommended fluoride treatment $ 40.00. Hmmm… ok. Well that aside, I finally get to the hygienist who I thought was a bit casual looking (no smock) and she took more measurements… wait I thought they did that already (?) So she tells me I need a deep cleaning with the additional laser sterilization of that area, and within a few more minutes another girl comes in to go over costs with me. I appreciate that at least they cover costs. I tell them go ahead, plus add in the fluoride and a couple tubes of whitening gel (I already had the mouth trays). This almost felt like going to the nail salon where you keep racking up additional costs. I didn’t feel like the hygienist did that thorough a job of cleaning compared to my normal hygienist, especially since she did a deep cleaning. But 2.5 hours later, my total bill came to $ 230 for everything. I think I will reserve this place if I need major dental work and would probably requests the doctor my wife had. But for cleanings, I prefer my usual hygienist at the other modern dental.

It’s been years since my fiancé has seen a dentist, but the last time he had, the dentist told him that he would need at least 12 extractions. My fiancé was extremely nervous to find out what the verdict was now several years later.
Upon entering, we were impressed with how quickly we were greeted and taken care of. Katie, the office manager, is a complete sweetheart.
After a set of x-​rays for my fiancé, he was taken back to the room where we met Dr. Cody Mugleston. My fiancé was terrified that he was going to get lectured for his lack of ability to get his teeth taken care of, but the doctor assured him that «[his] job is not to lecture; [his] job is to fix teeth.» He then told my fiancé that despite all the teeth the last doctor had told him he needed pulled, there was probably only two that MIGHT actually need to be pulled; the others just needed fillings or root canals.
Despite being the last appointment scheduled that Saturday, the doctor offered to do one extraction and a root canal during that visit, stating he had no other patients to take care of, so he’d be perfectly happy to get it taken care of right then. Again, very impressed! It took a total of about 2.5−3 hours for the exam, x-​rays, and procedures. My fiancé says he didn’t even feel it. I was in the room and saw the size of the needles so if he says he didn’t feel it, I am even more impressed!
Prior to the procedure, after finding out from the doctor what we’d need to do, Katie, the office manager I’d previously spoke of, came in and sat with us and explained how much everything would be. I have never been to a dental office where someone with the numbers comes in and advises you what everything’s going to cost in conjunction with your insurance. In the past it has always been a guessing game– I would get something done, then come out to find a $ 300 bill in front of me. Again, I was extremely impressed that this office advised us prior to the procedure so we could make an educated and financially-​responsible decision. In fact, once this occured, I KNEW this would be OUR dental office from then-​on.
During the time we spoke with Katie, we needed to decide what kind of cap to get on my fiancé’s root canal. His insurance would cover all except $ 25 on the metal cap. Although not appealing, it was the least expensive (the porcelin ones ranged from $ 300-​$ 1,000). As a young couple just starting out, you do what you can financially afford and that’s about it. We advised Katie we were going with the metal cap, because of our finances, however, when the doctor returned, he told us that he was upgrading us to the porcelin cap for the cost of the metal cap for all teeth that need caps, because he did not want my fiancé to be self-​concious about his teeth just because he couldn’t afford porcelin. That’s what won my fiancé over.
