Las Vegas Pain Institute & Medical Center LLC

Based on my experience with the Nellis location company, the following happened to me: It’s my understanding of the contract I entered into that I was supposed to receive care from this Urgent Care facility as a regular client while establishing a Primary Care Physician. However, I don’t believe that I did receive that. Even with insurance, I was still billed hundreds of dollars by this facility, and even double-​billed in one case! No one told me my in-​network doctor would not be seeing me on my follow-​up visit, and they aren’t even required to tell you that. Instead, I have to pay $ 270 for a Physician’s Assistant to review my lab tests with me. I could have read that myself! Based on what happened to me, you might want to double-​check before you go ahead and engage this company and business with you. Be aware of what can happen. This is what happened to me.

Dr. Martin of the Las Vegas Pain Institute is a miracle worker. For five years I had migraine headaches every day. I was in pain every single day. Many doctors tried but no one could relieve it.
Then I went to Dr. Martin. He did a radial ablation procedure which stopped the migraines. Now, I only get one every two to three weeks. Also, his bedside manner is incredible. He talked to me and got to know me as a person, not just as a patient. I’ve never met a kinder doctor.
The Center made several calls before the procedure, to make sure I understood what would happen and was prepared, and several calls afterwards to make sure I was feeling okay.
I now go to the Pain Institute for physical therapy every week, and the staff is just as fabulous as Dr. Martin. If you’re experiencing any kind of pain, call them right away! I love Dr. Martin so much I’m knitting him a scarf to thank him,

I normally go to the Durango location, but it was urgent, so this is the location that could get me in the same day.
Dr. Baird had the best bedside manner of the four docs I’ve worked with through this organization (it is of note that they all rotate around locations).
Understanding that I was between health insurance, he figured out a plan that kept costs as minimal as possible (from treatment, to meds he prescribed).
The front desk girls were friendly.

Working in Healthcare and knowing intimately how office hours and surgery scheduling works… This is one of the least organized physician groups I’ve seen (that says a lot in Vegas). They schedule procedures and office hours during the same blocks of time and leave patients sitting and waiting with no information. A clear lack of respect for the clients time. This is a regular practice with this group and their staff.

As a new patient I expected to be treated with a little more respect. I waited for OVER two hours without seeing anyone, finally I just left. While I was in the outer waiting room, there were other patients complaining about how it is «always like this.» I agree with the other reviews also, the front desk employees seemed both aloof and clueless, and not entirely helpful. Avoid this place, I recommend.

Go somewhere else! Front desk girls have very nasty attitude toward patients and don’t even know how to do their job as simple as scheduling appointments accurately. Average wait time 45min to 1hr.

There’s many other clinics to go to. Dont waste your time. Front desk service not the best.

If you are in a hurry, forget about it at this place. That is all I can say.
