Madeira Canyon Park

This park is huge!!! The baseball area is really nice. Also the soccer field looks really nice. Didn’t get to explore everything because it is so big. We will be back.

Worth the drive cause you’ll think you’ve died & gone to Park Heaven!
Unless you already live in the Highlands then good for you!
l feel sad to ever go back to my Green Valley parks, which may seem disappointing after this one. This park has access stairs from adjacent ‘hoods, which I smartly incorporated into my walk. The long walking path meanders around the park and provides nice vantage points of the amazing Valley views.
The restroom buildings are super fancy with nary a spot of graffiti. Ballfields of lovely grass are well maintained as are the random grassy spots throughout the park. I’m probably most impressed with the landscaping, which is plentiful and lovely.
Sadly, as the sun set, I descended from the Highlands back to the lowlands.

This is a pretty sweet park with something for everyone: ~10 tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a soccer field, a small playground, and even a water feature/​splash pad for the hot summer months! The only part that appeals to me, though, is the trail that rings the park– take a few laps around for a good cardio workout, it even includes a large set of stairs by the baseball diamond!
I’m bummed that this spot is far across town from me, but it’s great for the surrounding community. No clue if the tennis courts are by reservation or first-​come-​first-​served, but they’re in great condition with bright lights for evening practice. The soccer/​baseball areas seem to be in use by local kids teams, so don’t count on being able to use them.
BONUS: Great views at sunset, lots of parking!

This is a good-​sized park with plenty of room and things to do. It includes plenty of equipment for kids to climb on and a water park area as well. There are tennis and basketball courts and a soccer field.
The views of the valley from the park are awesome.

Awesome park. This is where my boy plays baseball. It’s a really nice park big, lots of things to do. Baseball fields are well manicured. Very beautiful.

I highly recommend this park. It has something for everyone in the family. Plenty of shade «which is a necessity in Las Vegas» as well as large party tables to facilitate your functions. Large CLEAN restrooms.
I love how the two play areas are separated so the tiny tots do not have to worry about getting trampled by the larger kidos. Let’s not forget about the water and skating parks.
Tennis anyone… Yes this park has it all.
