After a root canal gone wrong I was scared to death to go to the dentist. I waited way too long and now my teeth are a mess! I went to Dr. Featherstone based on Unilocal reviews. I am sooooo happy I did. All of his staff are amazing! They made me feel very comfortable and really went above and beyond for me. Dr. Featherstone was extremely thorough with my exam and explained everything to me with great detail. It was the first time in my life that I felt relaxed in the dentist chair. I didn’t feel judged in any way. I definitely have some dental work ahead of me and I know it won’t always be pleasant but I am confident that Dr. Featherstone is the dentist to give me back my smile!!!

Seriously, the best dentist I’ve EVER been to! The entire staff was friendly and caring. Dr Featherstone was very conscience of my fear and anxiety of dentists and dental work. He was the most gentle and PATIENT. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I would recommend him to anyone that is needing ANY mouth work.

I originally made an appointment with Dr. Featherstone for a consultation pertaining pricing for veneers, but he opened my eyes and sent me down an inexpensive path to «teeth bonding.»
After the mock-​up, I signed papers and a couple days later was granted a new and improved smile! He was gentle and took his time. He listened to my concerns and found different solutions that was beneficial to my smile and my teeth/​jaw-​alignment.

I went to Dr. Featherstone when my dentist retired suddenly and I was unhappy with his dental practice changes. I chose Dr. Featherstone from his positive reviews online. I was in need of a crown and was satisfied with my first experience. They kept requesting that I come in for a more detailed exam which is over 2 hours. With my busy schedule, I kept procrasinating the appointment. Well, I wish I hadn’t because I might have avoided my dental emergency. Early this week on Monday, I had to get in to see Dr. Featherstone asap. I was suffering with unmanageable tooth pain over the weekend and by Monday I had to be seen but had no appointment. Dr. Featherstone’s staff found a way for me to get in and I was quickly sent to his referred endodonist the very next hour.
After that urgent procedure, I was sent back to finish up with Dr. Feathersone. They’ve been concerned and compassionate about my experience and I’m happy that my dental emergency was handled quickly.

I needed quite a bit of dental work and hadn’t been to a dentist in a long time. I found Dr. Featherstone’s name in Unilocal and made an appointment with him due to the high recommendations. The whole experience was great. There was literally no pain although I had two crowns and cavities filled. The staff is wonderful and all his assistants are excellent. I couldn’t recommend anyone more. I will doll longer fear going to the dentist.

Awesome cosmetic dentist. I am getting 10 veneers on my upper teeth. I currently only have my «prototype» teeth in, and am waiting on the veneers. Needless to say, I have been to quite a few appointments, have dealt with the staff and gotten to know everyone in the office quite well. Everyone is terrific. I’ve never waited more than 1 or 2 minutes, ever. Dr Featherstone Does EVERYTHING himself, and spends an extremely long time, with tedious attention to detail on his patients. I have emailed him a few times, he has called on my cell to see if I wanted to come to a sooner appointment (He knows I wanted to get done ASAP) I have come in on a Saturday with only him there (to fix a portion of the prototype that was bothering me), he gives his cell phone number to patients, and on and on… From what I can tell, Dr. F is active in many local dentistry groups/​meetings and stays current with cosmetics. Good to know when you’re hiring a cosmetic dentist. He actually took some very detailed measurements/​photos/​impressions for a retainer-​like «thingy» he made for my upper teeth which he made to help with my underbite (prior to starting with my veneer case). I was to wear this for 3 weeks. He shared with me he wanted all these documentations of «before & after» to be able to share results/​findings with one such group he participates in. I don’t think it made a whole lot of difference, but point is, he’s on that forefront that a patient can appreciate… I can’t say enough good things about this dentist/​office. This may only be the second/​third Unilocal review I have ever done… For me, that speaks for itself. I feel indebted… Matter of fact, I brought them all lunch from my restaurant (Own a Tropical Smoothie) a couple weeks ago. They’re doing things right around here, which is refreshing in Vegas.

Dr. Featherstone and staff are extremly professional and caring. My personal experience for the past couple of years has been wonderful. They make you feel like a patient and a friend. Most importantly, the services rendered have changed my life. The permanent implants on my bottom teeth and the adjustments to my uppers, were perfect. My smile is fabulous and eating is much more enjoyable. The office is clean and comfortable. Waiting times are never more than five minutes. I would highly recommend Dr. Featherstone and staff.

I had to have my first fillings which was a drag but Dr Featherstone and staff were just great. Totally painless and as smooth as it goes. Right after they gave the best cleaning of my life, no exaggeration. I am glad I found this practice and I highly highly recommend them for their amazing service!

Dr. Featherstone’s office is simply one of the best dental offices in Nevada. His attention to detail and personal care for patients is unrivaled. He also has an extremely friendly staff, and that always compliments his work.
I must also mention, his hygienists are both very friendly and show his same level of care and professionalism.
If you research, you will see that Dr. Featherstone is one of the leading dentists on the west coast dealing with cosmetic dentistry, certainly the best in Nevada. I myself have not used those particular services yet, but have seen his exceptional work on both family and friends. I have only visited his office for regular dental work like fillings and cleanings, but I still go there exclusively because it’s always been such a pleasant experience.

I’m thankful to my coworker for recommending Dr. Featherstone and his staff. Everyone here is very friendly and caring. I have never had a problem with scheduling and I’m never waiting more than 5 minutes for my appointment. The office is clean and you get to watch TV while getting your teeth cleaned :)
The first appointment was probably the longest I had with them because as a new patient they really took the time to get to know you beyond just your teeth, sounds silly, but it was true for me. One of my issues was that I was never really satisfied about my teeth; I felt like I had a lot of little spaces and had that one annoying snaggle tooth hehe. This was the first office that made me feel comfortable talking about it and helped me find a solution. After my invisalign treatment I can finally say I’m not so self conscious about my smile anymore.
Anyway, I don’t know anyone who enjoys going to the dentist but after recommending a few coworkers here, it was funny to hear another coworker ask, «Where do you guys go for the dentist? I’ve never heard anyone so excited for the dentist before.»

I highly recommend Dr. Featherstone as your next dental care provider. He is excellent at what he does. He and his staff are professional, efficient, friendly, and really care about you and your smile. They complete each procedure with as little discomfort as possible. They are so concerned with meeting your needs with care and compassion.

Dr. Featherstone is the best! I highly recommend this dentist! Had my Invisalign done at this office and he did such a great job — really happy with the work!

I have so much good to say that I keep re-​writing this review because it gets so long. Bottom line is, Dr. Featherstone and his entire staff are just Awesome! If you have any fear or anxiety at all, you can check it at the door. I have finally found someone who doesn’t bring me to tears. His shots dont even hurt! He is understanding and very gentle. Im so glad to have found this practice.

Recently, I had some dental work done at Dr. Featherstone’s office & my teeth are finally back in happy mode again. While root scaling/​planing is not the best way I can think of to spend a few afternoons, it was worth it in the end. Dr. Featherstone’s office helped put my anxiety at ease and made the process as comfortable as possible. Now I just have to keep up with my home care and maybe I won’t have to have such an aggressive procedure in the future.
It’s very important to take care of your smile because if you don’t it can make you more susceptible to cardiovascular diseases including heart attack and stroke. Being preventative has its benefits. If you’ve been avoiding the dentist, you really owe it to yourself to get in there and take care of your health.
Dr. Featherstone caters to people that are scared of the dentist, so there’s no excuse NOT to go. I would have no hesitation with recommending Dr. Featherstone to any of my friends.

Love this dentist office! Clean, professional and at a great location. The front office staff and the dental assitants are super nice and professional, they follow up and treat you like family. Dr. Featherstone is really nice and very professional. My kids don’t enjoy going to the dentist, but he is very gentle and makes their experience a positive one. I definitely recommend this dentist!

My wife and I have been going to Dr. Featherstone for several years now and can’t say enough good things about him and his staff! Very professional, clean facility, well run business! He is the first dentist that checked for pockets in my gums to catch any problem before it was able to get any worse! Really happy with him and always refer anyone that is looking for a great dentist!

it is hard to be excited and woohoo-​ing about going to the dentist, but dr featherstone and his staff get me about as close as a anyone could to a novocaine-​induced «woohoo!»
great, friendly, talented staff always make me feel welcome and comfortable, and while «thorough» isn’t a word you look forward to at the dds office, it is difficult not to appreciate the time and care dr featherstone and his gentle associates put into getting things done the right way.

I have been going to Dr. Featherstone for years. His staff are always helpful and will work with you for your dentistry needs. I had a cleaning today. In a few months I go back to get a filling repaired. (the filling is old and I have a new cavity under it) Later this years I have to get a crown. Never have a problem and look forward to going. This is as pain free as it gets without being put under.

Like the last review, I too am a dentist-​phobic. I am in a happy place with this dentist and seriously NEVER thought that it would ever happen. The words happy and dentist have never been in the same sentence my entire life… so this is a treat… Finally after 47 years, I have found a great dentist!
The staff is incredible… Very friendly, compassionate, happy people. It’s like I’m their only patient when I arrive for my appointments. Nice!

I love Dr. Featherstone’s office… well as much as I can love going to the dentist. I’m a dentist-phobic…one that has tummy pains and anxiety before and during the dental visit. I was recommended to Dr. Fountain who used to work with Dr. Featherstone and what better way to find a good dentist than by word of mouth?! When I first walked in the receptionist told me that I looked really cute… way to butter me up before having my mouth wide open. My Dental Hygentist is Christine. SHE is definitely the BEST! She remembered me from 6 months ago and she remembered stories that I told her about my life. I’m not sure how she could remember that, but that is definitely what I call one on one care. She will always be taking care of my teeth unless she’s on vacation or sick. I think its a bit relieving to go back to someone who’s seen me at my worst. I now have Dr. Featherstone whom I met today for the first time. He mentioned something about me wearing braces before and that whatever my braces left behind were cute (not sure what that means since I don’t speak dental lingo). Cute again?! Sure I will take that… and he also noticed that my back molars weren’t very worn down. He said obviously I’m a HAPPY person… since I don’t grind my teeth down. Obviously, I still have panic attacks about going to the dentist, but this office sure makes it a lot less stressing. BTW, you always get a goody bag filled with toothpaste, toothbrush, floss and chapstick and I actually was special enough to get a flosser today! I definitely will be returning here in 3 months…
