School of Rock is the leader in performance-based music education. Gone are the days of traditional music instruction — our unique, immersive teaching method is based on our belief that the best way to learn music to to play it.
Our Performance Program is the best way for students to get the full School of Rock experience. It includes private lessons on guitar, bass, drums, piano/keys or vocals and weekly band rehearsals to prepare students for live shows at real rock venues. The authentic on-stage experience teaches more than musicianship — kids gain outstanding teamwork skills and confidence while having fun with their friends.
School of Rock offers programs for preschoolers, kids, teens and adults of all skill levels. Kids just beginning their musical journey can participate in our Rock 101 program to get a feel for their chosen instrument, the dynamics of group performance and fundamentals of music theory in preparation for our Performance Program. Top students can also audition for our prestigious AllStars program to experience a real concert tour.
As experienced professional musicians, our instructors not only provide guidance on the finer points of musicianship, but also educate kids on what it takes to put on a great live show. And with schools all over the world, School of Rock students are plugged into an unparalleled, international network of music lovers, artists and industry icons.
History
Established in 2014.
For over a decade, School of Rock has been teaching guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and keys through an innovative performance-based method. Through a series of private lessons and group rehearsals, students get to show what they’re learning on real rock stages to real rock audiences.
Currently, there are more than 175 locations in the U.S., Brazil, Canada, Chile, Australia, Panama, The Philippines and Mexico. No, we’re not the movie but yes, we’re the real deal.

With a Master’s Degree in Education from Pepperdine and teaching credential, Andy comes to the SOR with somewhat of a different background yet with many similar experiences. He recognizes the positive effects studying music can have on the mind, body and soul.
