Waiting on third repair visit to fix an overflowing washer. First guy thought his repair fixed it, no luck. 2^nd guy did nothing. Told wife she was filling the high efficiency too full. And then today after telling Sears the washer and dryer were stacked and told would need 2 guys they sent only 1 and had to reschedule again. I have nothing at this point to say real positive about Sears repair service

I just go here to the parts department because this is the only place I can find the bags I need for my vacuums. Sears is an ok store, the tool department sometimes has some good deals, the rest of the store is just ok for me.
This is just my opinion and I am sure some people shred the and some don’t, that is ok. The lady at the register was not a happy person, waiting to retire but still a year off, so she is there because she needs to be.
That’s all I really have to say about Sears, they are a department store and are basically the same all over.

After sale service by store and service weak… try to charge for installation issues they performed. Also, no interest after the sale. store manager as weak as they come. After spending thousands, we surely will not engage Sears again.

I called their 1 – 800 number for info. on a new hot water tank and the Phillipines answered!!! I don’t think so!!! For what Sear charges us US customers they should certainly give it back to US employees. I called back and finally got Boston MA… now I’m interested in their information. Support US simply by asking what country your call is being answered by.

I bought a Stearns and fosters mattress day around Memorial Day weekend. It was a floor sample so it should be broken in. It was very comfortable in store. Then when I got it home and slept on it it flattened hard as a rock when I woke up my back and hips were hurting. Sears would not help me after that. I was stuck with an uncomfortable mattress. The manager was very RUDE. Please don’t shop at Sears. They took this veterans money.

Well it’s no wonder Sears is going under. We’ve been in the mattress section for 25 min testing out mattresses and the only sales person anywhere close is more interested in closing out his register then offering any assistance

Bought a mattress from here and was very happy with my experience.
After looking all over online, furniture stores and at mattress stores, this store had the best price for the mattress we wanted. We narrowed down which bed we wanted by reviews online then went to Sears to try them out. They have a good size bed area with every model you can think of displayed. After making our choice we were helped right away with the purchase. Salesman was friendly and set us up with the delivery date.
They called the night before delivery and gave us a 2 hour window they would arrive. Delivery and set up was free. They arrived early but called to let us know. My only complaint would be the delivery people didn’t seem too happy to do the set up but did get it done quick. We also had to remind them to take some of their trash with them.
Otherwise this was a very good experience and I am happy with my purchase and price.

I went into buy 6 televisions for my new business. They were very helpful and friendly. I was in and out of the store fast! I was surprised at how they have a lot of the newer technology and in stock! Good job Sears! You have a strong friendly staff! I will shop at this location again!

I just had the WORST experience with Sears! My dryer died, and Sears sent out a repairman. He told me it would cost as much to fix it as it would to buy a new one. He sat at my kitchen table with me and ordered me a new one. The person on the phone that he was ordering from asked if I needed anything like an attachment for it and he said no. They charged me an extra $ 10 for two day delivery. Two days later my dryer came. The delivery men said they would not install it because I hadn’t bought the installation kit. Who knew? I got on the phone to straighten it all out. While on the phone, the delivery men put my old dryer back and left with the new one, without telling me they were leaving! Two and a half hours later, on the phone, after having one person hang up on me, it appeared to be getting resolved. I felt that I should not have to purchase an installation kit, as their repairman should have told me that at the time of sale, and he didn’t. The customer service person said they would call me right back. No call! So, Monday morning back on the phone again. This time I found out that I also needed to purchase an electric cord for the dryer!!! Really? Who makes an appliance that doesn’t have an electrical cord with it??? Any way after 45 more minutes on the phone, with them suggesting I drive to a store and purchase an installation kit (what happened to my delivery) and their telling me it would now cost me $ 99.99 to have it delivered (price sure went up from $ 10!), they appeared to be trying to resolve it all. I had a doctor’s appointment, so I had to leave. They said they would call me right back and finalize things! It’s been a full day and STILL no call! Since then I went to Lowe’s, purchased a dryer, it has been delivered and installed, for free, and is currently running. Moral of the story… NEVER shop Sears! They are horrible and their customer service couldn’t be worse if it tried!

Terrible. I had a baby dress (never worn other than to try on) that was too small for my daughter. I went in with the tags and dress still on the hanger and asked if I could exchange it for a larger size or another similar dress. I waited 15 minutes while cashiers were unsure and the manager didn’t even take the time to come our when they called for help or for MOD to the front. I was told I could not exchange the dress for another but the manager could probably «work with me depending what kinda deal I was looking for» and I could PURCHASE another dress with a discount and give them the dress I was returning. Never before have I experienced this in retail. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.

Never again makin the mistake to shop at Sears again. Especially on big appliances or furniture. Came here 2 weeks ago looking for a new patio set and it was so hard to find someone who actually wanted to help me order a set. Someone finally had the time to help even though the store was dead. He put my order in since I wanted it delivered to my house. He said I should get it in four days and I would get a call or email the day before. Even though this employee wasn’t courteous or said hello or thank you, or have a good day, I was still happy and excited with my new purchase. The day came and I never had my items delivered. No one even called to ask about my purchase or nothing so when I finally had time (I work a lot) to come in again and ask about the purchase that should’ve been delivered almost two weeks ago, they said their system said it was delivered already. I had to wait for that same lifeless employee that initially put the order in to see what was going on. After 15 mins or so of me standing there waiting, he said he couldn’t do anything at the moment because delivery was closed etc so he would leave a note for whoever opens in the morning to call me. Even though by now, I am frustrated and want my money back, I understood and left. Never an apology or regard for my time. Next day, I get a call from another employee asking me for the sales number and finally telling me to come in because her computer wont let her enter it manually so she would have to actually scan my receipt. She also said she had called delivery but no one is answering since a few hours ago. I come in about three hours after and she tries to figure it out on her own for like ten minutes. At this point what is really irking me is that, she doesn’t ask anyone for help, she doesn’t call a manager to inform them of this issue that has been going on for some time now, and she didn’t tell anyone that she has been calling delivery for hours today and no one is answering. She leaves, comes back and tells me that the store manager said that he will work on it and I will get my money back in 7 to 10 days (when I paid in cash at the store)!!! I say, «no, i need my money today, in cash, just like I paid.» I am in disbelief. and the store manager doesn’t even bother to come out and talk to me?!? She goes back and tells him i want a refund now, and she comes back with Mike Conrad, the «store manager». He tells me the system said it has been delivered therefore I cannot physically open the cash register to get your money out because if it says delivered it won’t open. I told him its not my fault, this has been going on for almost two weeks now, you have my money, and I never got my furniture. He repeats there is no way he can physically open the register. I then say, «you are a store manager, you can open the register if you wanted to». He goes on to say, «well I guess what I mean is I’m not gonna do that.» and then repeats that he can’t physically open it, again like ten more times, after we had established that he could but won’t. His lack of English Language and communication skills (and he is Caucasian btw) are so unorganized and embarrassing that I asked for corporates number instead. He then takes 10 more minutes to call three different people to try and figure out the number. I ask, «you are the store manager and you don’t have corporates number?» He said he has like 500 numbers so he has to find out which one it is. Then suddenly has a change of plans and talks to another employee while on the phone and tells me he is going to get my money now. He comes back with my money 10 minutes later.
I take my money and say, you never gave me corporates number. He says, oh I thought I did, and then hands it to me. I finally leave and thank him for wasting my time. I just got off the phone with corporate as well. They ruined my day as I was having some friends over the next day I was supposed to get my furniture. on top of that the LACK of customer service is amazing.

We went in to grab some tools and I was very surprised that the store wasn’t busier. Right before the holidays and there was barely anyone in the store.
We found the tape measure that we were looking for and then decided to do a little Xmas shopping. This store has a pretty good shoe and jewelry selection. I was able to purchase a very nice necklace and earing set for my brother’s girlfriend. It was very pretty and very reasonably priced. I also got myself and my mother a bracelet.
I wasn’t very impressed with the women’s clothing selection. However, I really like that the receipts can be emailed as well as printed.
Staff was very friendly. Although we really didn’t need much help.

As I mentioned in my original review, rarely do I need assistance from a sales associate when I am shopping at Sears.
I was recently in the store to purchase a new vacuum. I had done a little online research prior to arriving, and was able to decide what model to purchase with relative ease without any help from a Sears employee.
What I did need some help with was getting the large and bulky box up to the cash register. Not one of the EIGHT sales associates that walked by as trying to maneuver the box to the front of the store offered any assistance. I finally got fed up, placed the box near the televisions and left the store.
I was able to find the same vacuum, priced $ 30 cheaper, at another nearby store.
A serious decline in customer service, coupled with high prices makes Sears a pass for me from now on.

My daughter is 7 months and out growing her car seat…
Me being… well me, I was looking online for pricing, and seeing what stores had what… Why waste the gas and put the miles on the car if they don’t have what you want or need?
So, I find this pink a licious car seat, on the sears/​kmart website. The car seat doesn’t say that it is «in stock» or «sold in store», however, it did say available for store pickup.
I called the store to make sure that they had this in stock, for me to be able to buy. The girl I spoke to was very nice, and she told me that they only had one in stock, and that she would leave the UPC at the head cashier’s desk. I told her I would be there within the hour.
Walk in with my daughter who is asleep. I pay, and have enough SYWR points to pay for the tax. Awesome. My change due was .74 cents. I asked the cashier if she wanted a penny, you know, to make it .75 cents, since she was opening rolls and rolls of coin. I guess she didn’t catch on, because she just went on about how the «previous cashier didn’t replenish the coins»… okayyyyy.
Even though I was picking it up RIGHT NOW, the cashier said that she needed my address, and telephone number. I wasn’t ecstatic about giving this, but okay.
The cashier told me that I needed to re park my car to the other end of the store. I told her I didn’t think that would be necessary, I grabbed a cart and told her I would rather not go back in the heat, drive around the store, get back out in the heat, and what not, especially with my infant. I do not understand why they couldn’t just bring it up to the cashier’s desk in the first place…
To pick up my car seat, was like going on a freaking safari. I had to go to the very back of the store. I had to go through un-​automated doors, and then was greeted by a machine, where I have to try and angle my receipt at just the right angle so the scanner could pick up the bar code. I looked around, and Sears prides themselves in getting people their merchandise in less than 5 minutes… HAHA.
In about 3 and a half minutes, the guy came out with my car seat. It wasn’t going to fit in the cart, and the associate made it pretty clear that he wasn’t going to help me carry it to the front of the store… I completely understand, it was extremely UNHEAVY. And having me carry my baby, walk through the entire store, load my daughter in the car, park, unload my daughter, wait for him, and then load the car seat, my daughter and myself in the car would be so much easier. Oh yeah, he put the product back in the «back» again. Waste of time.
So, annoyed, I drive around the building. Where half of the parking close up is employee parking, and half of the other section reserved for «pick up» is a tow away zone if you leave your car unattended.
Really, Sears, get a simpler system. That car seat could have been brought up to the front, just as easy as the UPC could have. That associate could have walked with me to the car way easier than me driving around, parking, and getting out merchandise for the second time.
Not impressed.

Let’s face it, this place has been around for centuries and it is like a timex, it keeps on ticking.
a. Price –Like all retailers, they have tons of sales, discounts and etc. Overall prices are reasonable.
b. Clothes Selection — If you are looking for name brand, most of the brands here are value based brands. Other than Levi’s and Wranglers, you will find the more generic and blander brands. I would classify this as the basic necessities.
c. Tool Selection — Top notch.
d. Appliances — Top notch selection although they do carry their own brand — Kenmore. The sales staff are all waiting for you so if you feel like a target, you are!
e. Shoe selection — Need running shoes, athletic shoes, well all the generic brands and basic brands are here. The place where it is different is in the work boots. Like the hugest selection of work boots available.
Overall, Sears is a great place to get the basics for daily work and play. Not fancy, just your wholesome great place to go.

I have a long history of shopping with Sears and my family has bought from them going back 5 generations. But I think I’m the last of my family that will be buying from them as they ain’t what they used to be.
Pros:
Jewelry sales.
Craftsman tools
Kenmore appliances.
Stand alone, not in an ancient mall location.
Cons:
Sales people are on commission, some can be almost cut-​throat in their approach.
No I don’t want your dang credit card. And you want me to pay how much for your new lease terms?
Service Contracts for appliances are EXCESSIVELY over priced.
Checkouts? Hope you’re not in a hurry.
Pricing: Some stuff is actually cheaper at
than it is inside the store.

Not a fan of this store, place is very empty. Floor people are very rude.
Went in to shop with my family, was greeted very rudely with a basic hello.
Staff was just huddled around the registar, almost seemed annoyed that we came in.
Was looking for the shoe department, when asking where it was the gentleman that was working rolled his eyes and basically just pointed the direction it was in.
Will not return here.
I can see why no one shops at this sears.

This place makes me sad. When I was little, I remember doing my back-​to-​school shopping at Sears. It was always bustling with activity — I used to look forward to visiting Sears because they always seemed to have the coolest clothes.
Now, I think the prerequisite for shopping at Sears must be that you have to be over 70 years of age. I am ALWAYS the youngest person in the store. It’s pretty pathetic how empty this place is at any and all hours of the day. The quality of the goods has deteriorated as well… anything I have bought at Sears lately (mostly clothes) has fallen apart in record time.
The sales associates are really nice, especially the blonde woman who works at the jewelry counter. I recently bought jewelry for my wedding at Sears, and she was helpful and chatty. It’s really pretty depressing, because I don’t know how much longer associates like her will have a job if traffic doesn’t pick up in the store soon… and I’m sorry, but I don’t see that happening. Sad times at Sears.
