I’m very shocked and disappointed by the way I was treated at the Healthcare Partners Nevada Whitney Ranch location. In late 2015 I visited Dr. Sparling to establish a new patient relationship and he examined a mass in my chest and ordered CT scans. I told him that I’m very anxious and worried about the outcome and he prescribed me Lexapro and Klonopin(which I’ve taken in the past,) and told me to go through the referral process for the CT scans and to see a Surgeon. The referral process took so long, I had to make dozens of phone calls back and forth with the CT/Surgeon’s offices saying they never got the info, and the referrals department telling me their fax machine was down multiple times. I finally completed the CT scan which revealed two large masses on my rib cages and I only found this out through my Health Insurance’s members website, and couldn’t get ahold of my doctor for the results/an explanation! Due to this bad news my anxiety skyrocketed! Between then and now, I’ve asked to see Dr. Sparling to reevaluate my medication because I was under so much stress and was even hospitalized at a behavioral health inpatient facility for anxiety and depression, and they wouldn’t get me in until March 31st! I believe that was in December that I called. I called many times since then asking to get in sooner and asking if the doctor could change my prescription over the phone– with no compassion whatsoever. Yesterday, I was hospitalized AGAIN for a panic attack and an EKG revealed that I was having heart palpitations due to stress. I called Dr. Sparling’s office and let them know, and they said that I would need a psychiatrist(I let them know that I’m seeing a psychologist already.) I called CVS to ask them to refill my Lexapro and Klonopin anyhow(needing something or suffer horrible withdrawals,) and CVS called me back letting me know that my doctor(Sparling) denied my refill request and said that he recommended I «find a different doctor.» I urge you to never visit this office if you value your wellbeing.
