Specialties
The Intervale Farm Pancake House has been serving breakfast to the locals of Henniker and nearby towns for more than 25 years. Come by for pancakes, waffles, or French toast with our own maple syrup, made right here every spring. Our full breakfast menu includes omelets, burritos, and sandwiches. In the fall, try our doughnuts with a glass of fresh cider, pressed on site with apples from French Pond Orchards.
History
Established in 1988.
The Intervale Farm Pancake House first opened its doors in the summer of 1988. The restaurant grew from Patrick Connor’s true passion, maple sugaring. Patrick wanted to share his taste for pure New Hampshire maple syrup with the rest of the Henniker community.
Naturally, the building first began with the sugar house. Patrick bought an evaporator, five feet wide by sixteen feet long and three stories tall. It was made in Vermont by Grimm Brothers. Patrick then began growing the restaurant into what it is today.
In the summer of 1990, the Intervale Farm Pancake House added an ice cream window. The window served Henniker for just three summers, but in 2007, Patrick’s daughter Shelbie re-opened Intervale Ice Cream. Today, you can find over 35 flavors of hard ice cream (many of which are homemade) and of course chocolate, vanilla, and twist soft serve!
In the fall of 2000, the Intervale Farm Pancake House added a cider press and began serving fresh cider from apples grown in our orchard.
