Thanks Tim! You fixed my daughter’s cracked iPhone 6 and with the tempered glass and new protective case, I thought the price was reasonable. The work was also completed under the estimated time. Previous to this repair, about two years ago, you fixed an iPhone 5S damaged by sunscreen and replaced a battery in a 4S. All done well and for a reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

I took them my iphone 6s that had a smashed screen and in my attempt to replace it myself I broke off an important component. These guys are great! They me up and running in 2 days! very friendly and knowledgeable. Totally reasonable pricing. Walk in service.

This place is such a joke. I called in and was quoted one price to fix my phone, but when I got there they told me it was going to be more. I asked to talk to the manager and the guy behind the counter named Tim said, «what do you need to talk to a manager for, you’re talking to me?» When I finally got the manager out she said the reason it was going to cost so much is because they have to charge me for a new screen just in case they break the one that’s already on there. So basically whether or not they have to put a new screen on they are going to charge me $ 120 for it. This was one of the most un-​professional experiences I have had in my life, and I would urge you to take your business elsewhere.
I almost forgot, when I first showed Tim at the counter my phone, he said oh you should just fix that yourself, I’m probably going to break the screen. Come on guy…

I have to give this store a second review! I shattered my screen a second time and I knew right away where to go. They had my screen replaced in 20 minutes and the workers are just so friendly and super efficient! I highly recommend this place for any phone or tablet repair!!!

The proprietor is very friendly and trustworthy. I went to the shop to have the non-​working charge port on my iPhone replaced, but before agreeing to do so, she checked the port and found it just had a heavy build-​up of grime. She cleaned it up, tested it, and it worked fine. I’m very grateful she took the time to take a closer look before making an unnecessary repair. I will always go back to FIZ to fix my iPhone woes.

He fixed the screen but the screen is not a certified Apple screen, so about a month after I purchased the new screen it now randomly goes blue/​gray and has a shadow so the screen is not clear, it goes away after an hour but it is not helpful when looking at pictures or trying to read. I purchased the screen for $ 100 but you can get a legit Apple screen in the malls around rochester. Wish I had known this sooner and saved myself $ 100.

They fixed my galaxy! I never thought it would live again! almost $ 200 but worth it. Do not go to the mall kiosk guy these folks know best. Was a little hard to find because inside the laundromat but absolutely worth the drive and the money

I rarely write reviews, but when I come across a business that knows what great customer satisfaction is and above all the people running the business knows what great and high quality professional ethics are then they definitely need a recognition. I went twice to Fix in a zip @ Rochester, NY to fix my broken iPhone. Although I had tools to do it myself, as I am not a professional, I needed help to open a screw. During my first visit, Angel simply opened the screw without charging me even a single penny! I was amazed, considering that I am from Richmond, VA I was sure that I will be charged to do this job. To my surprise Alica and Angel did not charged me anything. The second time I went again, as I think the screen that I had replaced for the broken one had a faulty earpiece. This time I was sure that I will be charged and when Angel said $ 69 for labor my smile went away. But, here comes the great part, when he heard that I have all the tools and can do the job myself, he not only took time to explain me on how to do it, even encouraged me to do it myself to save the money. Guess What! I was able to change the faulty earpiece and did not even have to pay a penny!!! Thanks to Fix In a Zip. These guys are awesome!!!

They fixed my completely shattered iPhone screen in about an hour and checked for water damage as well. It wasn’t cheap at $ 120 but I’m totally satisfied with it either way!

After a month of having my new iPhone the screen started to crack. Fear of the crack growing more, I took it in to get it replaced. The guys were very informative and helpful. They fixed my phone quickly and it was good as new. 4 months later my phone started to act up. The screen would flicker and at times not light up. When I brought it back to Angel he replaced the screen again. It’s refreshing to have companies that stand behind their services and make their customers happy. I’ll be sure to suggest these guys if someone needs work on their phone.

My husband dropped his iPhone and unfortunately his screen cracked. I right away came to Unilocal to find where he should take his phone and this is really the only place I found. I saw that appointments didn’t need to be made ahead of time and the fee for his phone to get fixed was very reasonable.
Adam went on a Friday afternoon and was told the wait time was going to be an hour and a half. Unfortunately Adam couldn’t wait that long so he left. After looking around at a couple of places over the weekend and the prices Adam decided it was going to be best to come back here.
He went on a Tuesday afternoon and the wait time was about thirty minutes. Adam dropped his phone off and went and sat in his car to listen to the radio. After about twenty minutes the person working in the phone came to the parking lot and found Adam to tell him his phone was ready.
The fee was $ 60 for Adams 4s and it looks fantastic. I know that only the screen was repaired but it seems like Adam got a whole new phone.
If we are in the unfortunate position of having a cracked screen again we will certainly come back. Everyone was great and the fees were very reasonable.
