Wife got an appointment at 9:30AM, I drove her there around 9:20 AM. It was around 11:30AM and she was still at the receiving area, she said there were still 2 patients ahead of her.
What is wrong with this clinic? They have no respect on other people’s time, very unprofessional and this wasn’t the first time for her to wait for more than an hour and it happened to me too several times… but waiting for more than 2 hrs? My wife said they even let a patient who arrived later to go ahead of her and 2 more people because she was complaining… wtf?
I told the wife to get out of there, get her co-​pay refund and that will be her last time to ever set foot again on that clinic. They just lost a family of 3 and I bet they will lose a lot more.
When will they ever learn?

Took out my kids from their care because of the long hour of wait. Not a kid friendly clinic were kids can hang out & play while waiting. Plus, the doctor misdiagnosed sometime. Husband was given antibiotic, went to another specialist, turn out that it’s just a simple diagnosis that don’t need antibiotic. One time when you are asking Dr. C regarding your case, just need clarification, he would tell you he’s not going to argue with you & yet you are just simply asking about your health. And it’s your health that we are talking about here. Maybe he cant find a real answer for it, that’s why… I mean not maybe but for sure. Even they don’t have so much patient, still it will took them a long time to call you in plus another wait inside the room that has no windows, has TV but always off, maybe just for display purpose. If you are claustrophobic, being stuck inside for a long time is a worst nightmare.

it’s been several years since i’ve been a patient here but i could never get a same day appointment. Wait times were really long.
One thing I didn’t like is that I had to make an appointment to view my lab results. Even if I didn’t want to discuss them, just view them, I had to make an appointment and pay another dayam copay just so I could see them. In the state of CA your doctor CANNOT withhold medical records from you, so had I known back then, I could have just refused. But now I know better.
The whole same day appointment thing really bothers me. If I am sick today why is the earliest appointment two days from now? That just doesn’t make any sense.
I’m with Kaiser now and even though I don’t always have the best experience with them, it’s still better than here.
My parents picked them because they are Filipino. They seem to like that their doctors are filipino, but, for me, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that I’m seen when I need to be seen.

This place is just way too busy. Staff doesn’t return phone calls and seriously took me almost 2 months for a physical when I switched back to them. On top of that, giving my mother some of my medical info is no bueno. Finding a new Dr now.

This office takes advantage of the people in the community especially the elderly. They also take advantage of the fact the office speaks Tagalog and most of the Filipino people who live in the area trust this doctor! Unfortunately, he is a fraud and I have reported him to the medical board. He told me after one visit that because my bones hurt, I have bone cancer and I need additional test. I was not convinced so I went for a second opinion and the result was I just had a baby and my body was in need of supplements. He prescribed my grandmother medication that conflicted with her current ailments and her current medication. I researched all of the medication he prescribed to her and I wrote a long letter to Dr. Cadang stating why she couldn’t take the medication. He never called me back; I had to call the ER doctor on call to ask what she could and could not take. The ER doctor said what medicine she is currently taking landed her in the ER because they were conflicting. Even on the bottle of a medicine, it said «Do not take if you have asthma» My grandmother has had asthma for over 20 years; he is the one that diagnosed and gave her an inhaler. He knows the situation and to get his help asking for a prescription so Medi-​Care could approve some home items was near impossible. Every time I called to ask the status of the prescription, I had to reiterate the story again to a new staff. They argued with me that the clinic needed to fax them a form while I called the clinic and they said no you need to bring in a prescription. It was so much back and forth, they are unhelpful and rude. Dr. Cadang called at 9pm at to tell my aunt to rush my grandmother to the ER, when she told him she didn’t drive and there was no one to take her he said to not call 911. I called to speak with him several times and he never called, it was the staff who called back for him. They told me they could not speak to me because I was not the point of contact. They reason why they didn’t want to speak with me was because I was bringing up valid points and he didn’t want to address them. After I called to voice my concerns regarding the care him and his staff has given my family, they dropped my 94 year old grandmother as a patient! Stay clear of this doctor… please.

I have to agree with the previous comments. The staff are very rude and it took them three weeks to return my calls, only to ask me for my insurance card! Hellooo I have been a patient of Dr. E in the last five years and it’s really time to switch. I also have PPO so I don’t need to deal with their crap! Dr. E is a good doctor because she takes her time in discussing things with you, but her staff are so unprofessional. I hope she knows this and give them some type of warning or let them take a course in how to deal with clients. Just because the doctor is popular doesn’t give the right for her staff to treat us with rudeness. I’m definitely switching this year.

Honestly, I have to agree with the previous reviews on here. I recently established care with Dr. E. Although she is an OK doc, I am not willing to deal with her staff any longer.
I’ve left messages after messages and no one returns my calls. Poor communication between staff. Staff is very rude, and unprofessional. Today, one of them hung up on me!
The entire staff needs a refresher course on interpersonal communications and maybe even a business course because they obviously do not know how to run a business.
Why am I dealing with this? I have a PPO! Enough said. Please reconsider if you are contemplating about being a patient there!

Still not 100% happy about the front office staff,
but I love Dr. Escalada!
She really takes the time to know you and help you. She sits down and really goes over all the options for you, with you! That is such an important thing for me because I like to have an active role in my own health care.
