Came in looking for foam core. Called ahead and asked if it was in stock(was going there on New Years Day). The employee who answered the phone was very friendly and said they did have some in stock. Lots of parking and easy to find. Upstairs in the building, don’t be intimidated to go up there. Upon entering, the store is fairly clean and easy to navigate. Unfortunately they didn’t have the kind of foam core I needed(specifically black), so I had to drive out to Blick. The rest of the store has a good amount of different kind of art supplies, but I don’t think it will be my staple art supplies store.

Ridiculous pricing for custom framing. I was quoted $ 200 for a frame that cost me $ 75 elsewhere. I guess they figure it’s Hernosa Beach, so they can charge whatever they want. Won’t be returning.

Leslie and staff are VERY knowledgeable. Leslie is a custom-frame artist, a true gem. Thanks Aaron Bros!

This store will do in a pinch if you need some bare essential art supplies, but everything is overpriced. However, they occasionally have great sales and coupons can make the store worth a trip

This location is not as big as a couple of the others I have been to but I have to say the service, staff and atmosphere are superb each time I have gone in. I was able to find what i was looking for and the staff went above and beyond to help me out with my gifts and special requests. They offered me a space to work on, tools & supplies(like tape and scissors). I needed a picture matted same day and they were able to accomodate me on a busy holiday. Although their selection is smaller than others, their great customer service will have me returning for all my framing and gift needs.

The service is top notch. The reason for the 4 stars is because the selection seems limited since they’ve moved into the upstairs location. Even if they have the exact same inventory as before, now it just feels smaller. 4 stars for great service though.

The new high end store looks amazing! I love the new layout and selection. The staff and atmosphere are great. The framers in the custom area are friendly and extremely helpful. I have gotten a lot of art prints framed here and was really impressed with the results. I really enjoy coming to this store!!!

Alfredo took pride in his ability to deliver a quality custom frame for our poster. The service was excellent even with the 60% off custom framing coupon. Picking out the frame was effortless because of the wide variety of styles to choose from. Looking forward to seeing the end result. Also, If you buy a frame(usually find them on sale) you can upgrade the glass to non-reflective and add acid-free backing with an inexpensive package! I give four stars instead of five because the frame would have been very expensive without the 60% off.

I used to frequent this store, when it was back where Blockbuster Video is now. But since they tucked it underneath, I forgot about it. I was in the lot today, and saw it. Needed some frames so went in. The store is huge, and stuff is really spread out.(seems like it is a lot bigger than necessary …) The selection is huge, and some good prices.(some not so good too).

I have been in this place a couple of times and am just not super impressed. They usually have good sales on their frames(I picked up two frames & the second was only 1 cent) but their customer service is not great. I went in a few days ago because I am working on a project for my kid’s preschool class and was at the register for about five minutes. I could an employee talking to a customer, but neither he nor any other employee came over to help me! I got kinda pissed so I left and went back this morning and there were more employees on the floor. I asked one for canvas clips and he brought me over to their«hardware section» which was laughable — maybe 2 sizes of screws and some velcro. No canvas clips. Grrrrrrr. My suggestion? Look in your Sunday Paper for the Michael’s or JoAnne’s ad and clip out their 40% off coupon and go there instead!

I always forget this place is here because it is located on PCH and Pier Ave. The have fairly inexpensive frames and do framing but I have gone there for art supplies for my son’s classes like drafting or school projects. It is always pretty quiet in there and the staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
