We take all breeds of dogs and cats. From Chihuahuas to Chow-​Chows, our experienced, caring groomers have handled ‘em all. Family owned and operated since 1993, we strive to provide a comfortable, pleasant grooming experience for every pet.

History

Established in 1972.

The owner, Jose, started out as a part-​time employee at Bow Wow in 1987, assisting with bathing and drying dogs. It wasn’t long before he became a full-​time bather, then grooming apprentice, then assistant manager. He realized his special connection with animals, and learned the fine art of grooming from Bow Wow’s top-​notch groomers, including it’s original owner.

His wife, Maria, worked for many years as an office manger, accounting assistant, and an operations manager for several retail and wholesale corporations. During Jose’s asst. mgr. period, she also helped reorganize Bow Wow’s client files.

When Bow Wow’s second owner decided to sell the business in August of 1993, Jose & Maria knew that they couldn’t let the opportunity to own it get away. With their mutual love of animals and their talents put together, they knew they could make it work, and work well. Since August 15, 1993, they’ve done their best to do just that.
