We understand your carpet, whether it is nylon, polyester, wool or olefin etc and we have different processes to make sure we get the best results for each type of fabric. We know it is important to keep your environment free of toxic chemicals and allergens. CG contains no dyes or bleaches yet delivers effective stain removal. Our degreasing conditioners turn the water we use from hard to soft without breaking down fibers and leaving them softer and brighter. CG is hypoallergenic, contains no detergents, no enzymes and most importantly biodegradable.

Our powerful, non-​detergent degreaser is formulated with a soft water conditioner that enables us to clean your carpets and upholstery leaving it brighter and softer upon a very short dry time. CG is colorless, odorless, nontoxic, no surfactants and leaves no soapy, sticky residue that attracts dirt!

Hi Yelpers, my name is Mike, and I am proud to own and operate Carpet Greener. I came to America in 2000 after being born and raised in chilly London. I went to university in London, studying media and communication. From university I went on to work in finance, marketing, software sales before seeking the American dream. When I got to LA, I had to get working quick and plumped for an unusual job cleaning carpets. I then worked for Chem-​Dry for 4 years and after mastering the skills of cleaning carpet and upholstery I went to work for Skinn cosmetics and Bionutritional Lab’s here in LA as the operations manager for 2 years. That gave me access to their lab which I still use to this day. I decided to start my own business in 2006 calling it BioDry and in 2007 this morphed into BioGreen and after unsuccessfully buying out my business partner I decided to relaunch as Carpet Greener/​Upholstery Greener. I believe I was one of the first carpet cleaners to go Green and All Natural.

Mike was courteous, friendly, and very professional. He did a fantastic job getting stains out of our office waiting room chairs and a tough spot on our carpet. I thought for sure we had to buy a new set of chairs but after this I think we’ll be able to use the chairs for many more years. I would highly recommend him and use his service again in the future. THERE IS NO GREATER CARPET CLEANING SERVICE PERIOD!!! This guy is truly the definition of what service should be… I used Mike several years ago and needed some cleaning today. Unbelievable! So friendly, communicative, and hard working. Mike showed up on time with all the equipment ready to go. Unfortunately for him we had old, pet polyester carpet that is super hard to clean. He tried his darnedest, and it looks great. He even threw in our area rugs for a very reasonable price. Will definitely recommend him, and use again in the future. Thanks, Mike!

I’m another happy repeat customer. Mike is great at what he does. Having a carpet cleaned is hardly an experience and expense that one looks forward to, but Mike is really pleasant to be around, he works hard and quickly, and he makes sure to do the job right. His prices are very reasonable and he drives all over LA. I’ve had him clean my area rugs as well as wall-​to-​wall carpeting in the past, and I also recommended him to a friend who was very happy with his services. Most recently, I checked into having my 8×10 wool rug cleaned by a specialty rug cleaner since my dog had had a couple of accidents on it, and they quoted me $ 400 for in-​house cleaning and pickup, and told me «regular» carpet cleaning would only damage or lighten it. Maybe this is the case if you have a priceless Persian antique tapestry, but Mike charged me $ 100 and my carpet looks (and smells) great. He’s very busy so you do have to plan in advance, but he’s always returned my voicemail messages and arrives right on time, even if the appointment is two weeks or as much as a month out.

Mike is a true professional. He cleaned three of my area rugs that had been peed on by my dogs and the odor was pretty bad. He took all three rugs back with him to treat them and called me in a day to ask if he could keep them longer to make sure he could treat them a second time. Of course I said yes and he delivered the rugs sparkling clean and helped me put them back in place (i.e. moved my furniture). He didn’t even charge me for the second cleaning. He is super responsive and called several times to confirm pick up and drop off times. I would absolutely use him again! Thanks Mike.

I AM SUPER HAPPY WITH MIKE!!! He was able to remove the bile stains from my dog’s barf and made my mom super happy. I knew that Mike was special when he superceded my mother’s expectations. She is one tough customer to please due to her high expecatations and she is SUPER picky, but MIke was very professional and addressed all of her concerns with patience. His attention to detail was immaculate.
I have nothing but praise and good words for MIKE. He was a great and definitely worth every penny!

Very happy with my carpet cleaning experience from Carpet Greener!
Mike is awesome! He really takes pride in his work.
He was able to remove stains that a previous carpet cleaning company could not. And he is much more professional than the previous company which sends out basically teenagers to do the work.
He handles everything so you can just sit back while he gets your carpet super clean.

Mike is a no non-​sense hard working guy.
He is professional and did an amazing job on cleaning my carpet. His attention to detail is immaculate. He went over several times on tough stains until that area is spotless. He spent over 3 hours… it was obviously a lot of work even getting prepped before the work begin.
I have had many carpet cleaning in the past with different businesses. A lot of them tried to «add-​on» services that I didn’t request previously. In addition to that they did a horrible job with actually having stains removed or getting my carpet cleaned at the level that Mike did.

I have been using Carpet Greener for nearly two years. as the captain of a mega-​yacht I only hire contractors who adhere to the highest degree of competence, workmanship and reliability. We had him come out for upholstery cleaning, and were very pleased with the results (& we quickly became reacquainted with the original color/​s in our furniture, ha!). He was easy to work with, from scheduling to appointment day, and obviously takes pride in and attention to detail in his work. We have what is commonly referred to as «too many damn animals»; Two dogs that shed like it is a sport and two cats that puke like … well, cats, I suppose, give us the capacity to manifest a filth that I believe could result in a cholera outbreak. Add to this neat-​freak nightmare a one year old that loves crawling amongst the detritus cast off from our menagerie second only to adding her own alms of ickiness and you have a house that needs a solid carpet guy.
Ask the Universe, and it will answer. First things first; anyone who prepares to clean carpets by putting on a sweat band and running shoes is a bona fide Rug Rambo. A Carpet Commando, if you will. You just KNOW things are about to get righteous when a dude with a sweat band shows up with an industrial vacuum. And righteous it did get.
This good man spent way more time extracting fur and fuzz from our couch and carpet than it ever would have occurred to me to invest. He broke out a rake-​size carpet bush that pulled up enough pet hair to make a new, rather large, Franken-​dog.
At an even a higher value to me than the seriously intensive labor he puts in, is the fact that he is completely trustworthy. Having worked with him before and knowing what he is like, we didn’t think twice about leaving him flyin’ solo in our home while we ran out and knocked out a few errands. We got stuff done and came home to carpets that would make Monk proud.
Good guy, great job, extremely professional. He will be our carpet guy for years to come. God knows we will need it.

Mike read my review and offered to clean my carpets for free to make up for his lack of professionalism and three failed appointments. In spite of my better judgement, I decided to take him up on his offer and responded with a few possible dates. Mike wrote back and told me to never contact him again.
Not only is he completely unprofessional, he’s also rude.
