Have been here TWICE (my teenaged daughter is an expert at cracking her iPhone screen). Fast, courteous, service — knowledgeable staff and fast repairs (the phone was done in less than an hour both times), reasonable pricing.

They took another look at it and said that since I opened it and tightened the screws that I had voided their warranty– I think they are nice guys, but just doing repairs they find the tutorials on you tube for– not pros, by any stretch of the imagination– I paid them $ 70 to break my phone–

All I can say is that their warranty is totally bogus. I went to get my phone screen fixed last minute before a flight out of town this past Monday. On the way to the airport I realized the keyboard was totally off and showing through transparently while on other apps and on the camera, as well as the buttons giving me a hard time.
The second day of my trip my phone had a very minor fall on a soft surface and totally shattered, note: it’s in a heavy duty protective case. I flew back in this morning and went back to the store and basically was told there’s nothing they could do since the screen was cracked… Even though my buttons are still screwed and the screens are all transparent while using other apps.
The best they could offer is me spending ANOTHER $ 120 on top of the $ 150 I spent just 5 days ago to get it replaced AGAIN. Overall terrible customer service and the warranty is completely conditional on their own convenient terms. In my opinion they could have worked with me a little more and replaced my screen since the job wasn’t done right in the first place. I don’t have hundreds of dollars to be fixing my screen over and over again because a business didn’t do a good job. Now I’m stuck with shitty quality cracked glass and transparent screens with buttons that don’t work. Will never go back again and will be telling all of my friends about this inconvenient situation unless they do something to modify their warranty that they promise their customers.

Welp. So far so good. I was slightly hesitant getting a repair here after reading some reviews that were «updated» later on. But my screen is fantastic. It took basically an hour to fix and believe me when I tell you that my screen was mangled (dropped it on the strand while on a run). It was so bad that you could see some of the hardware components behind the cracked screen. Fixed completely and looks/​works great. Hopefully there will be no «update» for me!

This is possibly the best store ever! Drop your smashed screen and magically, 45 minutes later, you get your life back!!! Phil was super professional and clear, thanks!!!

Nice guy and quick quote but the price quote for my iPhone 6s Plus’ broken screen repair was twice as much as they charge at the Apple store and the Apple Store won’t void the warranty. I live nearby so I hope the prices come down in the future.

Awesome!!! My charging portal was broken on my iPhone 6. Israel fixed my phone in 20 mins! And he even fixed my phone screen for free. The last place I went to did a horrible job (I broke my phone screen and they placed another screen and did a terrible job replacing it) and israel fixed it. He was great! Love this place. It’s Professional, quick and great customer service !

This is the second time we’ve had a repair for a an iDevice. First an iPad and today my wife and son surprised me with fixing my cracked phone 6. The guys have taken care of us within 15 minutes both times. What a great store, great service, and a great value!

Have to update my review because a few months after getting my phone fixed I started having issues… My screen would intermittently go blank as well as my home button stopped working. problem is this all happened after the 90 day warranty. I went by Apple and they stated that the repair place had improperly installed the screen and that it was lifting in a corner. Worse off because they didn’t use an «Apple» screen my warranty was voided and they can’t help me now… To save $ 15 from Apple a few months back I now caused myself a huge headache

Your phone drops and this time you see the dreaded cracked screen. Super bummer! Rest assured DropSmashFix can repair it! Dropped my iPhone 6 Plus this am, went to the store at opening (10am on Sundays) – Phil said he could fix it in 45 minutes. Woohoo!!! The repair was done flawlessly, the customer service was absolutely excellent! Although no one wants to have to deal with a cracked screen – if you need a repair, head to DropSmashFix.

A tennis ball’s bounce height is approximately 53% relative to the height it is dropped from. An iPhone’s bounce height, I have recently come to learn, is considerably less. Shortly after my unplanned iPhone bounce height experimentation I was faced with the choice of going through life looking at images that might be more appropriate in a museum of contemporary art and driving little glass shards into my index finger every few minutes or, getting the phone fixed. No brainer. I found DropSmashFix on Unilocal and peddled over. The Hermosa Beach location was close and easy to find. Took about an hour and with my handy dandy Unilocal discount was not too expensive. Johnny, the tech was pleasant and professional. They even had Napoleon Dynamite on the big screen if I chose to wait. So I would say yes to five stars.

Paid 120 for screen fix and «protective coating» within 1 week screen started to have issues. When I brought it back they said they would replace BUT I would have to buy a new «protective coating». They said I should not worry about it and that it wouldn’t get worse. IT DID.
Worst part is the screen cracked hitting my keys in my pocket. I just replaced the screen from another place. They showed me the «Apple part» that these scam artist put on when the new place replaced it. These guys clearly used a knock off, and a bad knock off at that.
DO NOT GO HERE.

They fixed my phone (replaced glass on iPhone) in less than 30 minutes. They were knowledgeable and extremely professional. Karl did an excellent job with my repair and I would absolutely come back here. They even warranty their work!

Don’t go here! I agreed to pick up my phone at 3 and when I got there at 2:50 it was closed. I waited as long as I could but had to leave at 3:20 to get to work on time. When I went the next morning to get it and explain how much inconvenience this caused me, he was not even apologetic!
They are in business because of the dire need for people to have working phones, so they should respect this and honor the times they agree on.
I asked for a reasonable discount but got very little off. They don’t deserve business, there are plenty of small repair places in the area, be a better consumer than me and DO NOT go here!

I thought it was a done deal for my iPad.
Johnny took the time to explain to me that they could actually repair my device and true to form my iPad was ready to go when he said and looked new again!
Johnny did a really great job with setting my expectations accordingly and the price was very reasonable, he was also good about completing the work on schedule and alerting me proactively.
I will go back to Drop Smash Fix again for my tablet and mobile device needs in the future.
Plus they guarantee their work which is awesome!
Next time I’ll need to not use my hulk-​hands with my iPad.
But just in case I do I’ll feel confident in trusting my repairs to Drop Smash Fix.
