Chicken Tenders from Establishment in Hermosa Beach. Great place to watch a game and grab some drinks. But also has some very under rated food. Great happy hour bites. Quality Chicken Tenders and had all 5 sauces on the side. That’s the only way to enjoy all the different flavors. Super friendly staff and awesome TVs to watch a game. Quality local spot. One of my favorite spots for Happy Hour.

This place was great! The staff was very polite and friendly. The DJ plays awesome music which definitely got us out of our seats! We danced all night! I am definitely going back!

Really confused by the good reviews for breakfast. Are you people still drunk from last night?
We were lured into this place for breakfast by the oddly extensive breakfast menu. («Maybe it’s great!» «Why else would they have so many breakfast items?») Honestly I have no idea why this place bothers to do breakfast at all.
No one else came in the entire time we were there. We showed up a bit early, so I thought others would surely show up. No one did. And despite the place being empty, the service was inattentive and incredibly slow. (Though our waiter seemed nice.)
The food was mediocre at best. My omelette was underdone and had way too much cheese. My friend’s panini was burnt. The breakfast potatoes looked like boiled potatoes just smashed up, and had no crunch to them at all. (And there wasn’t even salt at the table to attempt to redeem them…)
I only give one star reviews to places that are grossly offensive or give me food poisoning. Since this place did neither, it’s ²⁄₅.

One of my favorite night spots in South Bay to hit up. The downside though (hence the 3 stars) is that it closes at midnight. I guess there was a situation that took place which resulted in them having restrictions on their liquor license. Anyways, fun spot to be at. Come during the pm portion of your night and worry about the am portion when it comes lol.

I’ve gone to the Establishment a few times during the week after work for food, drink and to watch a game. The staff and patrons are very friendly and nice. Happy hour is a great deal. The food is quite good and not what you’d expect. I personally love the nachos which are loaded with ingredients and served with the chips on the side. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite go to spots.

Establishment is one of my favorite places to go in Hermosa Beach. A great place to meet with friends, watch a game or just enjoy the 2 for 1 Happy Hour! Mike and JJ… make the place super welcoming to all. Come check it out.

I was impressed with the food, especially the happy hour prices. Unfortunately when I reviewed my credit card statement they had added an additional $ 10.00 to the tip. Ok service but $ 16.23 on a $ 33.79 bill is crazy. I called the manager who wasn’t in and was told that he would call me back. Still waiting

Second time here and great experience hanging out. Employees here are very nice, food taste very good, mature crowd, good music, overall a good spot to hang out. Only downside is that they close at midnight.

Food was very good. They just need to kick the smokers away from the front door. Televisions and sound are great.

This is by far my favorite restaurant on the planet. Friendly and quick service. They always go above and beyond to make sure I have a great experience. The Happy Hour is fantastic. I urge you to try the Thai wings, the FISH TACOS, and the ribs. I also love the chicken ravioli, the filet, and did I say the fish tacos? Definitely a must go if you are in the area, and if you’re not… make the trip. You will not be disappointed.

If you’re a douchebag UCLA fan, this place is for you!
If you love super hot waitresses who have an excuse for why you can’t order something off the menu every time you try, then this place is for you!
If you haven’t been in a fist fight for a while and miss it, then this place is for you!

Great bar! One street from the ocean… friendly staff… great drinks… AWESOME food… and even better prices for it all. I’m not in Hermosa often but I’m pretty sure I will be there more often after the great experience I had. Try the chicken quesadillas… SO GOOD!

Didnt know they closed at 12 and no one cared to tell us as we were walking in there at 11:40pm, went to the bathroom and ordered a drink. As soon as the drink was handed to me the lights turned on, music was off and the bouncer told us we could drink our drinks towards the exit and leave them, so i was forced to chug my vodka and pineapple in like 5 minutes, excuse me, do you mind letting me know the bar is closing within 15 minutes of arriving. Aside from that the place looks pretty modern and sophisticated. Ill prob check this place out during the day, maybe… lol

Dang… This place really sucks when the owner isn’t here. Was here a few weeks ago and met the owner and he was awesome!
Came tonight and waited ten minutes to order a drink while the bartender (who saw me sit at the bar) chatted with friends a few seats down. The bar back had to get his attention for me. Bartender was friendly-​ish, but after meeting the owner I was amazed he would hire someone who seems so incompetent (and possibly drunk)? Slow-​moving I can handle, apathetic is another story.
Unfortunately I sat next to someone who works here and had to suffer through him cussing incessantly and talking with his friend who kept bumping into me. I go to dive bars all the time and I work in a bar, so I have no problem with people cutting loose and doin their thing… But if you come in on your day off, you have to be aware of the other people around you– especially if you make it known you work here.
Disappointed. I’ll be here for another few hours watching the game and I’ll be here again because I like the atmosphere and food/​drinks, but this has been a shitty experience so far. And I’ve only been here twenty minutes. I’ll call and make sure the owner is working next time I come in.

Also, not sure if there was a different cook working tonight but the food wasn’t nearly as delicious as it was last time I was here. This is making me super sad. I drove from Long Beach to be here.

I’ve been here more times than I care to admit and I can’t believe that I really do like this place. It takes a lot for me to say that about a bar in Hermosa… 10+ years ago I would have said (and I’m sure I did) Hermosa and the pier have the best bar scene ever. Thank goodness I’ve grown out of it.
I try to avoid the pier at night when its super packed because it starts to smell and I really hate when drunk people step on me. So this place is the best! My friends know that this is one of the few places they can get me to come to when I’m not in the mood to go out. I am difficult and will refuse most others.
I love when it isn’t too crowded and there’s room to move. Sunday Funday! It gets super crowded during the weekends so prepare for it. I love it here, but I have a hard time staying when its this busy.
I have had the food several times, esp during football season. I think they’ve done a great job with it. Of course its bar food, but I would easily come to watch football, drink, and eat. (There’s a few other bars in Hermosa that I would have to leave just to eat)
Get to know them when its not crazy busy… they’re awesome and so good to their locals. Great place to support!

Establishment is located at Hermosa Beach, 1-​block from the Beach.
Inside feels sophisticated yet casual, they utilized lots of natural stone, stainless steel, dark woods and leather.
By first glance Establishment looks like a party place at which food would be an afterthought but there is some serious cooking going on here. With very few exceptions everything appears to be made in-​house, and the presentations and ideas show real creativity.

Happy Hour deals are: Two drinks for the price of one, and great selection of $ 5 food
My favorite food from the Happy hour menu are:
Mac Daddy and Cheese: Smoked Gouda, jalapeño pepper jack, sharp chedder with penne pasta topped with bleu cheese
Quesadillas stuffed with grilled chicken, green apple, goat cheese, and ancho chili cranberry compote perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and tart flavors, with just enough goat cheese
Sliders: 4 sliders with your choice of Angus Beef with grilled onion or Chicken breast with spicy chipotle sauce or tri tip steak with grilled onion and mushroom
We always sit at the bar and the service always outstanding and attentive.

Casual and comfortable. Lounge is great for groups. Nice bar.
Bone in Ribeye, Ribs, Mac & Cheese and the fries were all awesome. Drinks were great. Good beer and wine selection. Service was very fast and extremely attentive. This is one of a select few places that I will bring out-​of-​towners to in Hermosa, and a place I will continue to frequent.
Note: The Rib Eye was $ 25 but easily a $ 40 steak. The pinot noir reduction is my new definition of awesomesauce!

Best place in Hermosa Beach to Lounge and Party at the same time! Great staff, great vibes and they even have an amazing Hula Hoop performer on Fridays wooohoo!

Eine stilvolle Bar, mit collen Ambiente, die auch für größere Gruppen wunderbar geeignet ist. Pöublikum war super gemischt.
Essen und Getränke waren super lecker und die Preise gut.
Es gibt auch eine Happy Hour und einen Unilocal 10% Deal ;-)
