JAMA Auto House is family owned and operated business in Hermosa Beach selling luxury European pre-​owned cars for 29 years. As a family owned enterprise, we strive to make our customers feel like part of our family. We provide hands-​on best service at super low prices. Our customers are assured that our inventory of cars is rigorously inspected and hand chosen to meet the premier standard of value. Great guys. Completely reputable. I’ve bought 2 cars from them. I walk in with little information and a rip me off sign on my back.
I always leave in a really great, affordable car that looks good. I also do my servicing there.

One of my best experiences buying a car. Jodi was excellent and he was able to answer all my questions. The car I purchased looks as clean as it was when it was built… even though it was 10 years old. This shows the quality of all the cars they have there. Do not buy from jama.
I bought my Mercedes from jama about 8 months ago. About 7 months after the purchase, car started having problems. It wasn’t just 1 problem, it was like chain reaction where everything started breaking apart like it was In a horrible accident before. When I went to fix the car at a different autoshop, they were in shock of the condition of the car. Coolant was attached with a piece of zip tie. Computer system has been damaged from a previous owner. it would be more expensive to fix it then to buy a new one. Unless you know luxury cars inside out, DO NOT trust this place. The owner seems sweet and trustworthy, but when you go back for a check up with the «warranty» he provides. You will get NOTHING! The warranty covers Nothing and he will make you pay for everything.
I have learned my lesson the hard way, I hope no one goes through what I have been through. I hope this review will prevent people from spending thousands of dollars buying and fixing a lemon.
Please … know what you’re buying before you sign.

I purchased my used E500 Mercedes from Jama about 2 years ago. My car has been amazing! No problems at all with my car. The sales process was also amazing! I negotiated the price over the phone. When I drove to Jama from Ventura County the car and price was exactly what we agreed to on the phone. If you need to purchase a previously owned car, this is the place to go in Southern Calif. Recently bought my wife a car here afterfinding it on Autotrader. I have to echo all the positive reviews you see on Unilocal.Jody is a great guy. They don‘t pressure you, and the pricing is more than fair. Since we purchased on a Saturday, Jody correctly assumed we would want the car to drive that weekend. All he asked was that we bring the car back Sunday afternoon so it could be properly detailed. It was clean already, but he wanted it to be perfect. You get a lot of car for your money at JAMA, but more than that you feel good about the transaction!

I recently bought a 2007 Lexus LS460. This Excellent car was like new bumper to bumper and priced well. The entire sales experience was amazing! I am used to buying new cars direct from Lexus dealerships and I was a bit skeptical about purchasing a used car from a small dealership. I was proven so wrong… The Jama experience was ABSOLUTLEY INCREDIBLE!!! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Not only was the car great but the followthrough by Jody was truly professional and second to none. I have never seen people that really cared about every detail the way that Jody, Lars and Andrea do. Any maintenance and or repairs on any of my cars will all be done by Jama Auto House. Recently purchased a 1999 Mercedes CLK 320 Convertible from JAMA
After searching AutoTrader (private party and dealers), in northern and southern California. I met Jody in sales at JAMA and was hooked. Jody is a true master of matching people with the correct car.
I am a Major Airline Pilot and let me tell you I’m very picky about my cars. Jody and I thoroughly went over every inch of the Mercedes body and engine.
JAMA is unique. They check out all of their cars and will give you a print out of what was done to the car. I actually chose to pay JAMA to do extra work that I specifically wanted since they have their own maintenance garage on site! Jody will explain how it works.
I highly recommend calling JAMA. I’m confident Jody will put you in the car you have been seeking. Lars and Andrea were also very helpful in my decision to buy.
