I practice almost exclusively divorce, child custody, support, domestic violence, and other family law issues. I am also offering consulting services at a lower hourly rate with the goal of helping clients more effectively understand and effectively cope with the myriad of legal emotional issues that characterize and often define the Family Law process.

History

Established in 1998.

I have been practicing law in the South Bay area since 1984, residing there many years more. I began working with, and then for about 10 years partnering with Burch Donahue (Judge retired) and his son Kevin. We had a diverse practice including criminal, civil, personal injury, and Family Law, thus giving me well rounded overall experience and understanding of a broad spectrum of legal issues. In the 1990s my practice, began to become more and more focused on Family Law until by 2000 while having my own practice, it comprised about 90% of my work. Since about 2005 I have focused almost exclusively on Family Law.

Business Owner

I grew up primarily in Hermosa Beach and Davis, CA, although I spent summers and one winter in a small eastern Arizona town, playing cowboy. I went to undergraduate at both Idaho State U. and Cal State Long Beach. I worked my way, primarily in construction, through night law school at South Western School of Law, graduating and passing the Bar in 1993. I have again resided in the South Bay continuously since about 1973, and in either Hermosa Beach or Redondo Beach since 1984.
