Nader Chahine

I have worked with Nader on numerous occasions and I used him to finance my current home. He has years of experience and a wealth of knowledge. Nader has a great reputation in the industry for being available, easy to work with, professional, competitively priced and is known making even a challenging transaction smooth. In this highly competitive market, it is crucial to work with a top producing and consistent professional.

My husband and I went through the mortgage process for quite a while and got rejected a few times before we found Nader. The process was frustrating but Nader and his people will get you through it. We have a complex financial situation because we are both self-​employed. Most brokers said that we don’t have enough income based on the basic formula (which generally is easier with W-​2s) but Nader reviewed our financial situation differently. If your finances don’t come on a W-​2 form, I found that most brokers will not do the extra work to help you. We love our home and we couldn’t have done it without Nader and his team.

Nader and his team are tremendous! I can’t thank him enough for all his guidance through the home-​buying process. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and I would and will refer anyone buying a home to him. I appreciate

educate those like me who are so naïve about the home-​buying process.

Nader and his team are about as good as it gets. They helped me obtain a loan to purchase my first home. I’m a young professional with limited credit and Nader and his team went above and beyond and made every effort to make certain that I was able to obtain a loan. Purchasing my first home was a stressful process for me, but Nader and crew made it so simple and easy that my stress was short lived. I recommend them to everyone but specifically those purchasing their first home or those facing obstacles like me (limited credit and brief job history). I know that a larger institution would not have worked with me like Nader and his team and I wouldn’t be sitting and writing this post from the inside of my very own home!

Although this won’t be our final «show of appreciation» to your team, now that we have «closed» and I am no longer worried about «jinxing» anything, I just have to reach out now to thank you all for making this «loan acquisition process» just about as easy as it could possibly be from a consumers perspective!
We chose your team because of the «word on the streets» in the South Bay Realtor world (we received two referrals while just dropping into open houses — and numerous more thereafter) about how «fantastic you all are to work with»… and that has definitely been validated.
Many thanks for everything you’ve done — from handling our most personal finances with sensitivity, managing/​duplicating the «piles» of bank statements, tax info, etc., to referring me to the «hired gun» Janice Victoria, credit cleaner extraordinaire. — All fantastic!!!

I Highly recommend Nader Chahine and his team! In October of 2011 my wife and I got pregnant and decided that it was time for us to get into a house of our own. The market was on our side and the mortgage rates where at they’re lowest in years. I had heard that because my wife and I were first time buyers, we could qualify for an FHA loan. I contacted a friend of mine by the name of Ken Adams, an agent with Shorewood Realtors in Manhattan Beach (also highly recommended). Ken started us on the process and recommended Nader Chahine for the loan process. Needless to say that buying a house in this market is a very lengthy and difficult but Nader and his team were patient, courteous and most of all very professional with us through out the whole time! Nader even got us a slightly better rate at closing and surprised us with that great news on that closing day! Thank you for your outstanding service and commitment to my clients over the past few years. These have been the most difficult times in real estate and housing. However, together we have made it happen for home buyers and sellers that believed in us. I refer to you as a «Forensic lender» because every time I refer a client to you, I know that you will comb over the documentation to make sure my buyers are qualified and will close. Further, you ensure that they understand the loan products, are comfortable with the scenarios you recommend and provide the most competitive rate.
We all know how difficult it is to find the right home, get an offer accepted and then secure funding. The loan and the lender has always been the lynch pin of the deal and your transition into Cornerstone Home lending has provided an atmosphere of support and a «can do» culture that I need in a time when other lenders are making it exceedingly difficult. Im also grateful to the backbone of your company, Valerie, Jeanette and Michael for being able to assist when necessary. I realize that you get bombarded with phone calls from people who want to get preapproved and i appreciate that you triage and take care of the deals while you field hundreds of phone calls. What most people dont know is that you had to flee from a flooded building and still maintain your business while remodeling a new office and transitioning to a new company. Further, the amount of loans that you process speaks volumes about how many people (agents included) trust you with the biggest financial decision of their life.
In addition to spearheading the loan process, you often go the extra mile for the client without sacrificing the «on time» close. I really appreciated you floating down the rate for the Calcagno’s so they could buy up, save money and close on time. I never ask you to do things that take you away from what is the «core of the deal» because I know your highest worth and value your time. I also know that you’re not the lender who is the «errand boy» because you’re on task with the essential details, communicating with the client and protecting their interest and the deal at all times.
Most recently, you found an investor for my Buyer, Baz, so that he purchase his dream home when he previously was told he didn’t qualify from a direct lender.
In addition, you’re sourcing and documenting assets for him and my other «independent contractor buyers» is tedious but vital to the transactions.
Baz, in particular has served his country (retired Marine Captain) and his government (Former CIA agent) and deserved someone to fight for him and you became the hero’s hero.
Finally, you assisted The Stein’s to do simultaneous closing’s and got their contingent under asking offer accepted by going to the brokers’ open and talking to the listing agent about their qualifications. As you know, getting a contingent «under asking» offer on a new listing in a declining market accepted is almost unheard of. But as you also know, I believe all things are possible with the right support team and referral partners. Thank you for being there when we handed Barry the keys! (These scenarios were only a handful of the ones that you took part in.)

My clients have called upon you to finish when another lender couldn’t perform. I would steer very clear of Mr. Chahine. We first came into contact with him when a realtor friend of his was trying to sell us a home. We had gone to an open house his friend was having — she wanted to sell us the home badly even though we had some reservations. She referred us to Nader as we had just started looking and had not been preapproved yet. He was very helpful at the time and rushed our pre approval through in no time. However we did not buy that house and chose to not keep working with that realtor (she was dishonest on various occations) After we stopped working with his friend he would tell us that he would get back to us but NEVER DID. He had all our materials, financial information etc but refused to talk to us or discuss our loan options with us. He would say — «I was busy this week and will get back to you soon» I realized that he was playing a game — like a child. So long story short– if you trust a person like this with all your money and financial future — go for it but I really wouldn’t — If he doesn’t feel like it for whatever reason he will play games and not return your calls. Not professional, not trustworthy, not worth the gamble.

This is my first review on Unilocal,and it’s just something I had to write about. Nader Chahine, the broker at Cornerstone Home Lending is amazing at what he does. My wife and I just purchased a home and there were a ton of moving parts for the loan. I won’t get into specifics so as not to put my laundry out there, but it was a loan that I was sure couldn’t get done. But Nader got it done (along with Valerie and the rest of the team). As I told Nader, he’s either the most adept loan broker I’ve ever dealt with (and I used to be in the mortgage game) or he’s a flat out magician. And the best part of the whole transaction is that it was all above board.
Bottom line, if anybody needs a home loan, I recommend Nader a million times over. Thank you Nader!!!
