History

Established in 2015.

Back in the summer of 2010, Nicole started working for one of the top hair salons in the South Bay. She had only been there for two weeks when she met Madison, who had been hired shortly after her. For the next five years they attended educational classes together, did photo shoots, and got hands-​on training with many seasoned hair stylists from all over the country. Over time they became very close friends and decided they wanted to be able to work for themselves. They both had a dream to one day become successful salon owners in the South Bay. Studio Twenty Six was born when the girls decided to make that dream a reality.

I had an event coming up, had just moved to a new town, had grey hairs showing, and my regular stylist was on vacation. I was desperate! I called Studio Twenty Six at the very last minute with an unusual request and Nicole happily squeezed me in. She was the ONLY person I called who actually bothered to call me back.
Not only did she fit me in, but she also did an awesome job on my base break and was super friendly on top of all that! Based on my awesome experience, I’m happy to say that Studio Twenty Six is now my salon and I can’t wait to go back!

Madison was really lovely, patient and caring! She checked on me constantly to see if I am doing ok or needed anything. Cared if I liked how the color came out, she actually changed the color two times to get it to my desired color! Spent an extra hour and did not rushed or anything. Took her time to blow dry and curl my hair and I loved the way that my hair came out!

Love love love my hair by Nicole!!! Went from boring frumpy hair to this magical glow!!! Thank you, I am so happy. It’s the make over I so needed!!! Cut, style, color, highlights, all the best!!! I came to Madison armed mainly with complaints; I had suffered three unfortunate haircuts that left me confused about what I wanted and what would be possible with my hair texture. I explained everything I was thinking to Madison and showed her a few examples, and she transformed my hair into exactly what I didn’t know I wanted. At $ 60, my cut and blow dry were worth it many times over. I’m so so unbelievably relieved to have found my new go-​to!

I have gone to so many different hair stylists in the South Bay and Nicole is by far my favorite. She always does an amazing job on my hair. She is an expert at coloring and I’m always happy with my results. I was getting an ombré for the past year or so and most recently I decided to switch to highlights. She did a fabulous job and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments. I would highly recommend going to Nicole. Pricing is very reasonable and the salon is in a convenient location with a parking garage.

Soooo ecstatic for Nicole to have her own studio to do the magnificent things she can do to hair! Every time I go see her I leave so happy with the creative juices she puts into the styles I want. I’ve been to plenty of stylists growing up and I couldn’t be more thankful to find Nicole. I’m moving to Indiana next week and I’m already thinking about how I can fly back to get my hair done in the future. Nicole really learned my hair and knows exactly how to cut/​color/​treat/​blow dry it. she really listens to her customers and she’s a perfectionist so she will notice something before you could ever point it out and she fixes it. She’s the best!!! I recommend Nicole to all my friends/​coworkers because I’m always getting compliments on my hair.

Nicole is nothing short of a magician. I’ve spent hours in her chair doing crazy things like blue and pink, and other times she manages to make me over with just a trim. Seriously I always walk out feeling like a million bucks. She has been doing my hair at Ultra Lux for years and I was so delighted to visit Studio Twenty Six yesterday. It’s an adorable small space– no hustle and bustle just everything you need, very peaceful. Like going to visit a chic friend’s apartment. Plus you can’t beat the prices– it always feel like a deal. Totally worth driving down from LA!

I’ve been going to Madison for the past five years, and I will always stay a loyal client. No matter what I ask for Madison will always amaze me with the color and cut!!! Her new place is so cute!!! I’m in love with the décor and they are so friendly and nice! I have been to a lot of hairdressers in my day and Nicole is by far the best. She listens to what you want and makes it happen. I am one of those people that like to try new things but also doesn’t want to change so I am kind of difficult. She will make little suggestions here and there and I always love what she comes up with.
I go to her every few weeks to touch up my roots and she is quick and the color is perfect every time.
I am so happy to see her in her own salon. The décor is so simple and classy. She only carries the best products and always has what I need.

I followed Nicole from Ultra-​Luxe, which is great and I’ll miss, but I definitely love her new location. The brand new setup in Salon Republic is really nice, cozy, and private, and of course, I’m a fan of Nicole’s so this is new my spot.
Not only is Nicole super nice, she’s great at cutting hair (and apparently at coloring, which doesn’t apply to me) and refer all my South Bay friends to her.

Nicole has been doing my hair for about 8 yrs and I can honestly say she is AMAZING at what she does. She never lets me down not matter how crazy the request from brunette to blonde to red back to blonde and now gray (and may I add that I am in love with the gray). She does such a great job that even when it’s time to go in for a touch up I’m still getting compliments. Not only is she talented at what she does she is such a sweetheart I am truly blessed and thankful that I found her!!! Nicole Is the best at what she does! I don’t trust anyone else with my hair, she always exceeds my expectations. She has been doing my hair since we went to school 7 years ago!
