History

Established in 2006.

Study Hut Consulting began in 2006, but it wasn’t until recently that we opened our doors at our 1208 Artesia location (across from Mira Costa High School). Now, we have a dedicated staff of our most experienced team members all under one roof. Each consultant is forged to foster growth in each of their students through transparency and accountability. We incorporate equal parts strategy, concepts, and endurance into each session to insure our students are ready to crush on test day. Each hour of consulting is tailored to meet the needs of each student, since no two students are exactly alike.

Meet the Manager

Josh O.

Manager

Josh (Josh@​StudyHut.​com) is the Executive Director of College Admissions at Study Hut Consulting. After graduating UCLA a few years ago, Josh has helped dozens of students earn near perfect ACT scores. Sitting side-​by-​side with an equally equipped and experience team of consultants, Josh leads the charge in helping students and parents through the intricacies of the college admissions process.

Josh’s role is to actually provide free service and information to parents: whether it’s free SAT and ACT practice tests, or 30 minute parent/​student consultations, Josh helps to guide students to meet their specific goals. While many of our services are not pro-​bono, Josh’s mission is to equip the parent and student team with all the of the helpful information to allow students to make the best short term and long term decisions.
