Ace RV Rental

My recent experience with ACE was extremely positive. MY husband and I had rented an RV from another RV company in Central VA but when we went to pick up our rental (a 2015 26′) and he tried to give us a 2004 beat up vehicle we were very disappointed that our vacation was completely ruined. That’s when we found ACE. He had a 2015 RV ready for us within hours. Ali spent almost an hour going over all the features. The RV we rented was perfect for our trip. Our ruined vacation was back on track thanks to ACE. We returned the RV on Saturday morning and had our security deposit refunded the same day. I would highly recommend this company.

Don’t do it, even if the price sounds right. They tried to charge us THOUSANDS of dollars for a bunch of random work they did without warning or evidence of what exactly they were fixing. Needless to say we still haven’t seen our deposit despite the fact we’re not even sure what they found wrong upon return.

Rent from ANYWHERE else, seriously anywhere. You don’t even have to read my review. Just go to the Better Business Bureau website and see their rating of this company. It’s an F. We had so many problems on our trip we cut it short.
— The water still had antifreeze in it when we picked it up.
— We discovered it had ants once we started on our trip.
— We got a flat (actually 2) from a non-​standard valve stem extension. Had to spend the night at a rest stop until it could be fixed.
— The generator wouldn’t stay running, until we discovered it was out of oil, and needed a new fuse
— We were never shown how the shower worked, Once we figured it out, there was no hot water.
— We only ran the propane once, because the smell was so strong we suspected a leak and were not comfortable using it.
— We had the engine light go on and had to pull over and put in oil.
— The fridge and freezer quit working and we lost everything in the freezer.
Unfortunately, the only things my kids will remember from this trip is that we were miserable in the RV.
Seriously, I could go on… driver’s seat was broken and wouldn’t adjust, etc. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!

I would stay away, its been over a month and we still have not gotten our deposit back.
Update: Buyer be ware, if you don’t get insurance with them they will say that you damaged the vehicle and attempt to send you a bill. When asked to see proof of the work (before and after photos) they were unable to produce these and my lawyer advised that I not pay them. Still never got my deposit back but happy I did not give them more money. AVOID AVOID AVOID… unless your cool with them sending you a bill for work that was never done.

We own a travel trailer and while visiting the D.C. area had problems with one of the slide-​outs. We had to take it to a repair facility authorized to work on Coachman and found this place.
We spoke to Asghar before bringing it in. He called us the morning we had scheduled to drive it to the repair place to remind us and also to warn us about the rush-​hour traffic as we are not from the area.
We explained that we live in our trailer full-​time and couldn’t just drop it off and leave it for multiple days and asked if there was any way it could be repaired that same day.
Asghar and his staff were great, they got right to work on it and although it took all day and into the evening (they had to dismantle the whole bedroom to get at the motor for the slide) to get it finished and working correctly and then they even helped us get hitched up and out of their lot in the dark!

This business was very unorganized. Their website does not give many details on the RVs they have for rent. They gave me the wrong towing weight of my rental over the phone and caused me to be forced to buy a special towing hitch on the same day to make my weekend trip still workout.
As I pulled up to pick it up, they were still cleaning the unit I rented and made me wait longer. None of the proper electrical or water hookups were provided. Multiple items in the RV were broken including windows, the shower, and towel rods. The list of complaints goes on and on. When I returned, they discussed getting back to me about a refund of my rental due to all the problems and then never answered my calls or called back. I am currently disputing the charges and filing a claim against them.
**AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!
