Ahhhh!!! I have never met anyone that placed the dentist at the favorite places to visit but if you have one that is gentle and listens to their patients I highly recommend Dr. Jefferies and his stellar crew!
I was seeing a different dentist in the Reston Town area and started to feel uncomfortable there– physicians/​dentists and caretakers should never talk negatively about other patients– it makes you think what do they say about you to other people!
I came to Unilocal and searched and found this office! Mary was my hygienist and I found her super professional, warm and caring! Dr. Jefferies came in next and after meeting/​talking for a bit he examined me. I’ve been in a couple times now and each staff member I’ve met– Kendra, Carrie, Yahn have been A+++ Dr. Jefferies is gentle, professional, quick and listens /​hears his patients!
Can’t go wrong coming here!

After avoiding the dentist for several years and having a bad experience at a different dental office prior to visiting Dr. Jefferies, I was scared (to say the least) to visit the dentist again. Dr. Jefferies’ practice came as a trusted recommendation from a coworker. On my first visit, the dental hygienist, Irene, went straight to work identifying problem areas and performing a deep cleaning. Seeing as I had been avoiding the dentist, this deep cleaning was to be expected. Irene kept me at ease the entire time — checking in with how I felt and giving me ample time to rest when I needed it. Dr. Jeffries followed up with an examination and gave recommendations on how I could improve my dental hygiene. I felt in good hands through the entire process.
Dr. Jefferies’ staff is great. Pricing for dental work is transparent. Scheduling is a painless and their e-​mail/​text appointment reminders are very helpful. Would definitely recommend his office for your dental needs.

I needed a new dentist to redo two recently placed fillings that were really sensitive to cold and sugar. I found this office by chance and am so happy I did. Dr Jefferies looked at my X-​rays and showed me defects around the fillings likely causing my pain. He put in new fillings and showed me the fillings on a post procedure X-​ray. The new fillings were placed flawlessly (I know since I am a doctor and work with X-​rays all the time). My teeth have never felt better. Dr Jefferies is an excellent dentist and I look forward to scheduling all my dental needs with his office in the future.

I have been going to Dr. Jefferies for a few years and I love him, I have sent many people to him. He is incredibly gentle and doesn’t try to sell me unnecessary work. He’s very careful when doing fillings and I never feel any pain during the procedure or feel sore afterward. Also he is extremely meticulous with getting fillings just perfect — I’ve had lots of fillings along my gum line or bite and he always makes it feel perfectly smooth and normal. The dentist is my biggest fear and I used to dread visits for weeks and let a couple of years go in between because I was too scared, but now I go every 6 months, which is probably helping me have less problems. His staff is also very friendly and professional and I’ve never had to wait a minute for an appointment or had problems getting one when I needed it, even immediately. I recommend Amber for cleanings. She definitely cleans your teeth thoroughly to the point that it hurts a bit, but not too much and your teeth feel remarkably clean afterward!

Dr. Jefferies and his dental staff are amazing. The first time my husband and I went in there, they greeted us by name and were able to see us within 30 seconds! They spent as long as they needed to get the job done, so no cutting corners.
They did a fantastic job with explaining their policies and procedures, so you were never left guessing anything. I got six cavities filled and didn’t feel a thing with any of them– even Novocaine shots in the gums/​roof of my mouth.
No more dreading the dentist!!!
