Wanted to support local business, but seem this repair shop too greedy, the price same as car’s dealer, over price if your compare with some shop down to Eden St. as same work.
Be fair, and less greedy then you’ll get more business, no need to send out coupon or waste money on discount book.

Nothing less than 5 star for their service. Steve was really honest of what I need to do in my car. I went their for regular oil change as well as wanted to know why my check engine lamp were on. He told me that they will do diagnostic as a part of oil change and will let me know if there’s any issue. Unlike jiffy lube or any other service stations I have been to, they charge for every small thing and will try to sell most of their add in service apart from regular oil change.
I would definitely recommend others to come here if you really want someone to check your car and not sell their product any services alone.

Oh my gosh, the service manager — Steve — is the best. He will get you the best deals on tires. He’s friendly, flexible and he actually cares about what tires you put on your car. He worked with my schedule and helped me get tires on last minute before a road trip to Montréal. Thanks Steve!

Clean and convenient station but their gas prices are out of whack. They lure with low regular price (to compete with WaWa) but the premium price is 80 cents more per gallon. Highest in the area.

I got my oil changed here and they were so nice and honest. My past expeiences have been that whenever I take my car in for an oil change they try to tell me that there are a million other things wrong with my car. It was the complete opposite at this service station. I appreciate their honesty and will go back if I have any problems with my car.

I brought my truck in for oil change and state/​emissions inspection. I ended up needing new brakes & rotors to pass. They were soooo friendly and very reasonably priced, I even got an unexpected discount. I would def recommend.

After having such a positive experience the first time, I took my vehicle back to have a steering issue looked at. Not only did they fix the problem, but it cost LESS than they estimated. When does that happen. In addition, they gave the car a once over for other potential/​future issues and fixed my headliner.
I am totally sold. It is wonderful to have a local mechanic shop that you can trust. Customer for life!

I have taken my Lexus and Odyssey for inspection and they have provided excellent service. Mr. Nguyen is very nice and friendly and finished in 15 min. Also I have taken my Odyssey to put off the market RIMS and did a great job.

I have been using this Shell for several years. This is my go to place for car washes. The car wash itself is a standard touchless drive through type. But there are attendants that scrub your car with a soft brush before going through the car wash.
I read the previous posts about the old guy grumpy guy that did car inspections. My experience with that guy is pretty much the same. However I don’t believe he is there any more and the new guy (Khang Nguyen) is much more friendly. I had my truck inspected there and he was way more pleasant and quick. Mr Nguyen was definitely a positive change.

I’ve been using this Shell station for over 5 years for all of my inspections. The technicians are always honest and professional, especially Mr. Khang Nguyen, who has helped my wife and I on several occasions. Get your inspections at a station that doesn’t do maintenance and where the staff is excellent. Go to this Shell.

I have bought gas and had my car inspected here for years. Last Saturday I had my car inspected. Even though I was the only car there it took 25 min for the inspection to be completed. It passed but I was told that my rear brakes were extremely close to failing. I was told I needed them to be replaced along with the rotors. They would be happy to do it for $ 400. I did not make an appt but took it to my regular mechanic today who called to say that I had plenty of brake left and it by no means needed replacing. I definitely will go elsewhere for inspections from now on.

There is an attendant who will scrub down your tires and get the major dirt off.
It’s a touchkess was and it does a very good job.

Seems to be my go to station over the past year or so. Its not close to home but it is close to where I run my errands. And its the closest one that takes my Giant Rewards. I don’t recall ever even being inside but its always clean, pumps work just fine and I feel safe. Pretty much all I can ask for in a gas station.

This review is re: the «touchless» car wash at this location.
McLearen Shell: Why operate and advertise a touchless car wash when, before entering the wash, a man with a «brush» resembling a broom which has been used to clean the oil stained floor at the adjoining Emissions Stall, aggressively scrubs your car to death (before any rinse)?
For those that really care about their paint finish, this will make you cringe. True, you can jump and tell the man to stop, but this was unusual for a first time visitor at the wash and is obvious it’s a tip gathering scheme (you can’t even put cash directly into the machine — the brush dude must do it for you). It’s the car wash equivalent of the pesky bathroom attendant man.
Skip this wash and head across the street to the Exxon — a much cleaner, newer, and better «touchless» wash — minus the nice plastic broom pre-​rinse.

I typically don’t write on Unilocal about places not related to food… but I believe this place to be so awful I had to write.
I went there for an easy oil change and figure i’d ask them to check my AC. That grumpy old man was like… «It’s not free! That cost $ 50. Free part is taking the temperature.» I’m like… dude… you’ve got to be kidding me.
1. Advanced Auto Parts does it for $ 25.
2. Japanese Auto Care where I normally take my car will do it for free.
There’s no reason why I should have to pay $ 50 for you to trouble shoot my car.
Seriously… that grumpy old guy is bringing the business down on that place.

I could not agree more. That guy is a jerk. That old man who works at the state/​emissions inspection is so grumpy and cranky. I had new headlights installed in my car before coming there. He charged me and failed my car because headlights are not original. I went to other place and they passed my car with no problem. First, I felt bad for that guy since he’s old and still has to do hard work, but after failing my car for silly reason and giving me the attitude like «I have power to fail your car», I have no pity for him.
