History

Established in 2008.

The Wiener’s Circle, All Wieners No Losers was born from one man’s passion for high quality all beef hot dogs and premium sausages. Greg & Diane Hill have owned the business since it first opened as a carry-​out lunch operation in 2008. Since then, it has grown to a quick-​serve, casual dining restaurant, which opened March 2011.

The pair has also owned Great Falls Gourmet Caterers since 1992. The Hills had hosted sausage making parties over the years where everyone raved about the quality and taste of the finished product. Greg Hill saw that there was this huge void in the Herndon-​Reston area for a place that could sell premium, all-​beef hot dogs and high quality sausage, bratwurst, and kielbasa. Add in the complimentary toppings & you can customize your dog at no extra charge.

Due to their many years of catering experience, the Hills had ideas on how to tweak their menu offering with some outrageous daily specials, while pulling customers back in, repeatedly.

A self-​taught chef, sausage making enthusiast, & entrepreneur, Greg Hill left his 20 something year career in the technology field to start a catering business in 1992. He found a business partner in his wife Diane, who also had previously been in the technology field, and they embarked on a life transition into the sometimes wild and rocky world of food. This was long before a food career became the glamorized field as showcased on the food network. The company was originally called the Gourmet Grill. The name was later changed to Great Falls Gourmet Caterers, with the original location on Walker Road in Great Falls. Their focus was always on providing high quality food with excellent visual presentation, and at a reasonable price. Thus their company motto came into play as «The Affordably Elegant Caterer». In 1999 the catering operation moved to larger facilities in Herndon, & in 2008 a new company, The Wiener’s Circle, All Wieners No Losers debuted. This one became Greg’s creation!
