I just took my daughter to eat at YP in Hershey Pa 2÷5÷16 at 6:45pm. We sat down and our server got us drinks about 5 mins after sitting. She was great. About 20 mins go by and our garlic knots finally come out hard as rocks and no pizza, I sent the garlic knots back. 20 more minutes pass and no food. I decided we where leaving. Just as we are leaving the fresh garlic knots arrive which we are not going to eat because I was fed up and leaving. I spoke to a manager who used the excuse that their carry out was busy Yet the restaurant was beyond slow. 2 tables that sat after Me and my daughter did both had gotten food so that’s not a good enough excuse. If the kitchen was that busy why was the manager Not back there Helping… Won’t go there again. Waste of almost a hour not to eat in a restaurant. Sincerely Steve Owner of 2 business’s Manager should find another type of job because he clearly didn’t care we had no food and where leaving unhappy. Made no attempt to have us stay, comped our drinks and the garlic knots we did not eat but I offered to pay for.

. Gave this place a try even after many of the reviews were less than favorable– i’m glad we did! We stayed in the hotel next door and ordered some wings and other«bar-type» food. The food was good, packaged to go with care and reasonable priced. Yes, the bar was full of locals, didnt bother me. Overall, a decent spot with decent food

Should have read the reviews before going in. Went in on a Wednesday which is family day buffet with great prices however… Waited to be seated while the waitress looked at me at least three times. Later the bartender asked if I was being helped as I stood next to the«wait to be seated» sign. I say no and there are 5 others that will join me and finally get some attention and am seated. After another long wait for service, I take it upon myself to go to the waitress at the buffet to ask questions about family day specials. I notice there are two slices of pizzeria that look like they’ve been there a while. I ask if I can order a cheese pizza and she says that will take a while since its family night and the oven prioritized buffet over my order. And that was my cue to leave. Not Recommended for families… on family night…

Everything we’ve tried here has been very good so far, but our absolute favorite is the chicken quesadillas. They’re stuffed with cheesy goodness and the thin, light shell they use just pulls it all together perfectly!

Terrible food, ridiculously slow service for only having one other table occupied.

It started out as a good evening then went downhill very fast. We ordered our drinks and it took almost 10 min for the drinks to come out. After sitting for another 10 min waiting to order, we placed the order. The bartender was our server. There was only one other server for the whole room. The bartender asked if we wanted refills and we ordered them. When the drinks came back, I had ordered a Georgia Palmer, I tasted it and it was not the same drink. The bartender mixed up bottles. She had added some kind of of butter liquor. I then said that it was not the same drink and she promptly, with and attitude said, «what’s wrong with it?» I told her and she went back and fixed it. I had motz sticks as an app and they were off the hook. One member of my party ordered the veggie calzone and described it as «blah». The other member of my party ordered a French dip and got a sandwich that had cheese steak meat on it which is an abomination to all French dips everywhere. I ordered a meatball sub. Some of the meatballs were rock hard. It was as if they heated them up in the microwave and they got hard. Overall the experience was not very good. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Great selection for late night food. The chili was thick and savory. The cheese fries w bacon were great — not too greasy but fresh and pleasing. The bacon was great too. The Italian Stromboli was bangin! The red sauce was perfectly deep red tangy awesome sauce. The staff ended up being friendly though we showed up 10 minutes before the kitchen closed.

Nice place to take a break from the kids at the Lodge. Our food was great. They have a pool table and electronic darts which was fun.

The waitress was nice but the service was so slow. We ordered 3 appetizers which came out at 3 different times. Literally 5 minutes between each appetizer. We ordered 9 different meals, 1 of us was happy with our meal. The ribs are overcooked, the cheddar bacon fries were greasy. Over all, not a pleasant experience.

I LOVE the stromboli here but WHAT has happened to you guys!!! The boli’s are sooooo small now and the wings are tasteless. It just feels like maybe they sold to a new owner and now all these corners are being cut… I dont know. The last 3 times have just been so bad. I’m going to have to find a new THursday night junk food place. :-( Also, please educate your to-go people on beer. Yes, beer expires. And no, you should not put it back into the cooler when your customer points out the 6 pack you just sold her expired in 2012. Thank you.

Honestly, this was hard to write because our waitress was unbelievably nice and apologetic and even ended up paying our bill because we waited so long. So she deserves major credit for this. However, the wait was very long like the other reviews state. This is not a place to eat if you are in a hurry. 20minutes for a drink order(we ended up ordering food with it) then 15 minutes to get our drinks(water) and 30 minutes for our food. It was only two of us and the place was about 30% full. I can’t imagine how they could handle a packed house. Quality of food was ok and kind of what we expected for a place like that. Typical chain style quality. Not bad but not fresh tasting.

It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but when moving out the Hershey area I was told don’t bother with YP. Food was okay. I got a turkey club on a roll. The roll wasn’t toasted and bread very hard to chew. I tried to get our waitresses attention multiple times and she just stood around by the bar or was nowhere to be seen. I drink a lot of water and how attentive they are to that(simple thing my friends in restaurants tell me) helps determine my tip. I had my water refilled once in 45 minutes of being there and I had to ask for it, once I got the waitresses attention. Three simple orders, 1⁄8 filled restaurant and it took about 20 – 25 minutes to get our food. Consisted of my club and two orders if chicken fingers. If you visit Hershey from out of town and looking for a cheap/decent priced meal and quick I’d suggest Houlihans(one of my favorites) even if they’re a little busy because it will still be quicker, a higher sense of urgency, and better quality food, and overall more enjoyable. I feel bad writing such a negative review because I try and let people know the positives and recognize those restaurants that deserve it since a lot of people only remember the negatives.

I took my wife and kids, along with my in-laws here one night and i was very disappointed. first off, the place was dirty. We were a party of four with a 5 month old and a 3 year old, and it took forever to get our one pizza and order of wings. i know people say they had to wait and it only took 10 mins, but this was ridiculous. table after table, who had come in long after us, continued to get their food. then when our finally came they waitress said they had forgot about it. not discount or free meals was offered. Pizza was not that good, and the wings were soggy and and tasted like they simply threw some franks on them. haven’t been back, never will

I enjoy going here with friends after a long nights work. It’s much quieter than other bars in the area. I only wish their«famous» Stromboli’s were not pre made I’m not a fan of a few of the ingredients.

5 stars all the way, the buffet was so delicious, Megan went out of her way to serve us, since the salad bar comes with onions, she made us a separate bowl of salad, the tortilla soup and pizza was good! It was the best place I went to all week!

Do yourself a favor. Do not go here. This was by far the worst service that I have ever received on a simple pick up of a carry out order. I was left standing at the counter for 2 min. while a male and a female spoke loudly to each other about something sexual behind the counter. When the male approached the cash register, he just looked at me and said nothing. I told me my order number, handed him my card and was handed the receipt. I signed the receipt, handed it back, and he still has not said anything. He handed me the boxes, I said«Thank you» and he said«Yup». Great people skills pal. Customer service was not the only negative experience. I had ordered wings and Stromboli. From what their website states, their stromboli is amazing, and you can get it delivered everywhere, so if you have moved from the area, you can still enjoy their stromboli. I have had better stromboli from the frozen section of my local grocery store. The sausage in side the stromboli was basically the same texture and taste as the over processed sausage on frozen pizzas. The other meat inside was sandwich, sliced thin, and stacked even thinner. There was not enough filling for the amount of dough in this boli. Also, the amount of sauce served is enough for one slice of this«semi– stuffed» bread. The wings were not horrible, but for hot wings they did not have much flavor or heat. I will never return here. I have no idea how much people are drinking at this place to give it a positive review.

Avoid this place like the plague. YP was once a very good local chain… about 20 years ago. This location aims to please the non-discriminant drinker/diner with a potent combination of «we’re more interested in everything but you and your visit». I won’t even use the term ‘dining experience’ because it would be an insult to such things. Stay away… far far away.

I was part of a group of three, when we arrived a large group was being served their food. We waited about 5 minutes to be seated while the waitress entered their order. When she had finished she told us to just sit over by the fire place. We took a booth and began to look over the menu. A couple minutes later a group of medical students came in and were seated, drink orders taken and served their drunks. Still no one even acknowledged us. I began pulling up you tube videos to entertain my party. After 5 more minutes we got up and left. Will not return.

So, let’s make this review fun and have a Pros & Cons list: Pros: …Across the street from the medical campus? check …Sells beers by the 6-pack? check Cons: …Townies? check …Poor, almost non-existant service? check …Ugly setting and uncomfortable seating? check …Bad food? triple check!

Food here was cheap but not that good. I order the penne and it was baked but the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was meh, The service here was very slow also. The décor was terrible. I do not recommend this place unless you are into cheap food.
